CHAPTER Nine - King Vlad's Late Night Visit
I didn't want them to think that I was being treated better than them or anything like that.
Lenna grinned as Lydia smiled wider as she nodded excitedly, "Of course!"
"Good night, Jannah." Lenna said and Lydia added, "Good night."
I smiled wider as I replied, "Good night, Lenna and Lydia."
They continued down the hallways towards their rooms, and I turned towards my room
I entered it and closed the door. As I looked at my bed, I saw King Vlad sitting on it. I gasped, bringing one hand to my chest in surprise. "Your Majesty! What brings you here?"
His lips tugged up into a small smile as he stood up from the bed and walked towards me. "I apologise for startling you. I wanted to talk to you, but I also couldn't let others know that I am visiting you since it is not allowed as per the rules of the selection."
"I see, but how did you get in and when?" I asked as I watch him step closer to me.
