CHAPTER 46
I hesitated before I followed him, feeling nervous. I glanced at him as he laid down on the bed and tugged me to lay down beside him. He wrapped his arms around me as I laid my head on his chest while he brushed his fingers through my dark hair.
"The demons are getting more confident and because of that, we need you to step in so that we can defeat them once and for all." He said to me as I stared up at him.
"What do you mean?" I questioned, wanting to know what he meant.
"I said that I will teach you how to use your powers so that you can fulfill the prophecy and help us defeat the demons." King Vlad answered me as his lips tugged up into a smile.
"You are going to be very powerful, Jannah. I can tell." He added as he captured my gaze as he continued smiling.
I couldn't help, but smile back at him as I nodded, "I hope so, but when are we going to start training?"
"Tomorrow, after the selection game."
