Chapter One- Don't Touch That

Friska Kirkson's Pov

I enjoyed the fun and adventurous but this time I think someone was taking it rather far. Of all my friends, I was the only one with a level head and the idea of a camp in the middle of the night without permission sounded good in no way. In my lifetime I have seen multiple horror films and those who ignored obedience always pay a price printed in blood.

I stared at my knapsack that was loaded with what would be needed for a night. My friends were idiots and the fact that I would join them made me no different. In fact, I was actually the biggest fool of all.

"What you doing?" that was the annoying voice of my younger brother Gregory so I covered my coloured bag under the covers. I turned to face him, my arms crossed as I gazed down at the boy who chose to disturb my peace. Was I this annoying at the age of five?

"What is it twat?" I hissed because having a little brother seemed to annoy the crap out of me than it should. If there was something to hide, like in a situation such as this one my little brother was always the one to run to my parents. His little eyes sparkled and I frowned internally because I knew what that meant.

The little ball of destruction was after something.

"No" the answer was firm as I looked away because if I should stare in those eyes any longer I would break. I would submit to a five year old who made it a point of duty to drive me insane.

"I haven't asked yet" he pointed out innocently but the little twat was far from innocent. He was conceived after me to carry out thew mission of supplying my parents with information. To be honest the boy would make a wonderful government agent some day.

"Whatever you will ask for my answer is no. Go bother daddy" I told him and his eyes fell to my dresser. I knew exactly what he was staring at because there were often times I had to fight the boy out of my bedroom just because of that blue headphone.

Why destroy his and hope to get mine?

I jerked when he moved by me so swiftly, his little feet planted on my dresser. I tried to grab Greg but the small boy was way too swift for my liking, his little feet taking him where he needed to go.

"Mom!" I yelled as I followed the boy who ran straight for his bedroom, my hands snaking around that small waist of his. He wriggled endlessly but I made no attempt to release him, the headphone being cradled in a possessive manner.

"Let go" he groaned and I squeezed tighter.

"No you little twat" I replied and that's when my mother's shoes came into view.

"That's not a nice thing to say to your brother Fris" she pointed out and I placed Greg down after obtaining what belongs to me.

"He stole from me" I frowned an my mother gave my brother a disapproving glare.

"Greg how many times do I have to tell you not to touch what does not belong to you?" she asked and the boy held his head down.

"I'm sorry mom" he stated and I stuck my tongue out at my younger brother. My mother's gaze fell to me.

"That gives you no right to speak to your baby brother like that young lady" She told me and I crossed my arms. Greg smiled at me and I simply pressed my teeth together.

Twat.

~~~~****~~~~
I placed my feet on the wall as I stared at the ceiling while a cellphone was at my ear, my boyfriend highlighting how safe this adventure would be and that we need to live a little. Was I the only only one who saw the many potential hazards associated with this middle of the night none sense?
"I really don't know about this Adis, if my mom wakes up and realize that I am not home she will freak. I would never hear the end of it" I whispered as I ran my tongue over my dry lips.
"She won't find out Fris" he assured me and I gave a nervous laugh. He had not the slightest clue of who my mom was and what he was capable of.
"My parents are military, have you forgotten?" I asked and my boyfriend only laughed at me. The scenario would be a completely different one at my funeral, that is if Adis somehow survived my parents wrath.
Sure they liked him but there was no way that they liked him that much. They would pacify us both if they ever found out about this.
"There is no reason to be paranoid, this is just one night and your peeps won't even realize you are missing" he assured me and his assurance was rather poor. My heart was drumming in my chest like a damn drum and this boy was as cool as cucumber. I pulled the sheet tighter around my body, there was a terrible feeling that this would all go wrong.
"Crissy is way more relaxed than you are" he told me and I rolled my eyes. If only I could knock him out through the phone, did this boy just compare two girls who shared a friendship but no similar characteristics?
"Crissy is free spirited and reckless" I told him truthfully and he laughed.
"She's my sister" he pointed out firmly.
"And shes my best friend so I am free to say it" I stated and he chuckled once more.
"Relax okay, it is just camp. It is just one night" he assured me and I continued to stare at the ceiling. There was still that gut feeling and somehow I felt that it was right.
