Petal POV

Suddenly, Amber's phone rang and she immediately silenced the phone and put it in her pocket. Her face became pale and her hands started shaking.

"I'm hungry. Are you?" Amber suddenly stood up and asked.

I nodded my head and followed her. I tried not to suspect her behavior but I just couldn't. The first thought that came to my mind was that she might be cheating on Alex but no, it's not that.

Ethan was right. She's hiding something and that secret is preventing her from being fully happy with her life.

But the question is, what is the secret that she's hiding?

I only hoped that she wasn't planning to hurt Alex.
