William had a smile on his face as he walked out the door. Normally, such helpless people looked like two-dimensional characters in his eyes. He thought that he would probably never see the two people he helped again in his lifetime. He felt that as one of the ordinary side quests, just like in the games, it would stay in a corner of his brain as a daily, mundane event.
But his thoughts changed the next day when he went to do another potion mission. Mura and his wife Elle, who had learned her name that day, were waiting for him in front of the obelisk. They had invited William to dinner and wanted to be friends. William couldn't say no, and they soon became friends. In fact, in just a few days, friendship deepened much faster than William expected.
