For the one I love
Seeing how hard working and supportive Aaliyah is,her boss Mr Clinton starts to slowly fall for her. Most of the time,he gives a lot of work to Aaliyah so that she can spend time with him. This makes Quan sad because each time he arranges a date, Aaliyah doesn't show up. A week later, CJ manges to secure a job as a doctor in a private hospital thanks his mother's friend. Quan however is still living off CJ's help. On a certain day, Aaliyah decides to ask her boss for a favor,
" Sir... remember Quan? My boyfriend I told you about,I need you to help me help him get a job through your connections" Aaliyah looks at her boss with pleading eyes.
Mr Clinton agrees to help Aaliyah because of her hard work and dedication. Aaliyah gets back home and she tells Madea that her boss agreed to help get Quan a job and Madea is happy as well. Mr Clinton gets back home and he can't help but think of Aaliyah's loyalty and the unconditional love she has for him,
" Aaliyah loves Quan way too much and he's so lucky...but I've fallen for her,she is so caring and compassionate towards others....no,I won't let her leave me. If Quan gets a good job then he might just stop Aaliyah from working for me and I'll loose her for good. Am going to help Quan get a job quite okay but it won't last" He gives an evil grin while looking at Aaliyah's photo.
In the morning when Aaliyah gets to the office,Mr Clinton tells her that he managed to get Quan a job, " Ask Quan to get here so we can go to the hospital because he has an interview" He says with a big smile.
Aaliyah gets so excited she hugs her Clinton,thanks him unendingly and calls Quan to come to her office immediately. Before Quan arrives, Aaliyah asks Clinton for a favor,she begs him not to tell Quan that she asked for his help in finding him a job. Clinton agrees to help despite having a hidden motive. 25 minutes later,Quan reaches the office and before they start off,he talks to Aaliyah in private.
" I thought I told you not to ask this man for help because rich men cannot be trusted,they will always want something in return" He looks at her in anger.
Aaliyah hugs him so that she can calm him down and then tells him that she didn't ask for his help but he surprised her instead. Quan apologizes for been wrong and then agrees to go with them. They get to the hospital and Quan is taken into the interview room. The interviewer is not only impressed by Quan's grades but also by the way he answers the questions. 45 minutes on, Quan comes out of the interview room and his face is full of excitement. He tells Aaliyah the good news and they rejoice together, with Quan lifting his girlfriend. Clinton however, can barely wait to ruin the young couple's dream and happiness, "Rejoice and merry as much as you can Quan because in a little while I'll make you seperate yourself from the girl you love" Clinton soon joins in on the celebration pretending to be happy for Quan. One month on,Quan is working hard and happily that his boss is so happy with him he even decides to promote Quan. When he gets the news,Quan is so happy. He goes to a fancy boutique and buys himself a good looking outfit as well as for Aaliyah. He goes to her Aaliyah who is still living in the orphanage because she considers it home and is helping Madea provide for the kids there. Quan greets Madea and then he goes to Aaliyah's room and gives her a beautiful dress and some simple jewelry ( because that's what she likes) and heels to go with the dress.
" Am sure you must be wondering why I bought you all this... well, you won't believe it but I just got a promotion!" Quan surprises Aaliyah who screams out of joy and hugs Quan.
They both celebrate to a homemade fish prepared by Madea. When Quan leaves in the evening, Aaliyah is happy but Madea is worried,
" Am so happy for you and for Quan but what happens when he finds out that you asked for a favor from Clinton?" She asks Aaliyah who goes silent for a while and assures Madea that he won't.
During night time, Aaliyah can't help but think about Madea's words so she decides to call Savannah to ask for her suggestions. Savannah however also suggests that Aaliyah tell Quan the truth because he might get hurt if he found out from someone else.
" But he just got promoted and he's so happy, you know Quan doesn't accept favours and he might quit the job" Aaliyah tells Savannah hoping that her suggestion will change this time.
Savannah tells Aaliyah the same thing. She tells her to tell Quan the truth and Aaliyah just goes with the suggestion.
" Okay..." Aaliyah takes a deep breath " I'll tell Quan the whole truth tomorrow before the promotion party" She decides.
