First attempt?...Quite successful

First thing in the morning, Aaliyah goes to Clinton's office and thanks him for his help because Quan wouldn't have been promoted if he didn't help with finding a job for him. She gives him some flowers and a hug as a way of appreciating him, "thank you so much for your help Clinton! You are a very good friend"

When Clinton finds out that Quan has just been promoted to being the head Doctor, he starts plotting. In the evening,Quan goes to the orphanage to pick Aaliyah up and he is dazzled by how beautiful she looks. Aaliyah is however feeling anxious because she has to tell Quan the whole truth.

" Quan? I have to tell you something..."

Before she could go on,she is interrupted when a little girl living in the orphanage walks in to give Quan his phone which he left with her,

" I just thought I should give you your phone back because you might forget to take it with you" The little girl gives the phone to Quan and leaves.

Before Aaliyah could say anything again,Quan himself interrupts her. He takes Aaliyah by the hand and tells her they have to leave because it's getting late. Before they start off, while in the car,Quan takes that time to thank Aaliyah for her in endless support,

"I really appreciate you for your patience and kindness Aaliyah,some other girl would have left me when I had nothing but you... you stood by me until I got a job and now, you celebrating my promotion with me is the happiest thing of my life, thank you"

After saying this,Quan asks Aaliyah to say what she wanted him to know inside as he drives. Aaliyah thinks about Quan's words and sees the excitement all over his face...She just can't bare to ruin that happy feeling he's having at that moment, " It's nothing,I just wanted to say that e love you and am proud of you" She holds the truth back.

Quan feels happy,he takes Aaliyah's hand and kisses it. After driving for 39 minutes,they reach the party hall and everyone gives Quan a huge round of applause as the party starts. One of Quan's workmate who is his assistant,walks in through the door looking so hot and seductive. The party people including Quan can't help but stare in amazement. Aaliyah sees that Quan is looking at the lady in admiration and she feels bad, " Quan must be feeling ashamed by me and maybe if I looked that beautiful,he might have been looking me like that" She assumes in her head and her eyes get teary.

Quan sees Aaliyah's teary eyes and gets worried, " What's wrong Aaliyah? Are you okay? Do you need anything? Why do your eyes look teary?" He asks endlessly.

Aaliyah as usual hides her feelings and says it's nothing as she turns to walk away but Quan holds her wrist and tells her to stay by his side because he wants to introduce her to his work mates. The lady comes to where Aaliyah and Quan are standing and says hi to Quan while holding his chin into her one hand but he quickly pushes it away, " I've told you countless times not to do this,I have a girlfriend" He holds Aaliyah's hand even tighter to show his passion. The lady however shows no shame and just introduces herself to Aaliyah,

" Hello darling,my name is Kyla Ross and am Quan's assistant" She sticks out her hand to say shake hands.

Aaliyah shakes her hands with no hard feelings attached. Quan takes Aaliyah to their table where they sit with Kyla. After two minutes, Aaliyah tells Quan she is thirsty and so does Kyla. Quan goes to the counter to get the ladies some water but he comes back with only one bottle. Before he could give it to one of ladies,he slips over Kyla's foot and gives her the bottle. He then tells Aaliyah he'll bring her water in two minutes and she smiles in agreement. When Quan leaves the table, Clinton walks over and greets Aaliyah who answers in surprise and asks Clinton why he's there. Clinton smiles and tells Aaliyah,Quan's boss is his friend so that's where the invite came from. He also sits at the table since it's for four. Aaliyah introduces her boss Clinton to Kyla who greets him and introduces herself as Quan's assistant. Aaliyah keeps looking at the counter where Quan is getting her water and she sees him just walk away with his other colleague laughing and chilling. Clinton calls the waiter and asks him to bring a bottle of sealed water and shortly after he does. Aaliyah thanks the waiter and Clinton. Five minutes later,Quan comes back with a bottle of water, " Am so sorry, I got a little carried away" He hands the bottle over to Aaliyah but she refuses.

" It's fine Quan ... Clinton already got me water" Aaliyah looks at Clinton and smiles.

This makes Quan boil with jealousy but he controls himself. The four have dinner together quietly even though Quan isn't happy with the fact that Aaliyah keeps talking to Clinton more than she does to him while they eat. Soon,the master of ceremony asks friends and family to step on the dance floor. Quan knows very well that Aaliyah can't dance well so he asks Kyla to dance with him and this makes Aaliyah feel even worse. Clinton is able to read Aaliyah's emotions by the look on her face and to make things better,he volunteers to dance with her. Despite her refusal, Clinton insists that he'll teach her so she agrees. As they dance and laugh at the mistakes they make while dancing,Quan feels bad that he didn't take that chance to teach his girlfriend how to dance. While Quan Kyla dance,they get so close to each other. Seeing Quan close his eyes when Kyla gets close to him and breathes on his neck makes Aaliyah angry and sick to her stomach! She lets go of Clinton's hand in anger and walks outside with Clinton going after her. Quan tries to go but Kyla stops him by pretending to sprain her ankle so he pays attention to her. Clinton calms Aaliyah down and takes her back inside. Quan's boss calls him on stage and gives him an award for best doctor as well as announces his promotion to everyone. While giving a speech,Quan thanks his girlfriend, Aaliyah for her endless support while looking and smiling at her but she doesn't smile back. Everyone leaves the as soon as the party is over. Quan offers Kyla a lift since it's late for her to go home alone. Aaliyah leaves the both of them to go and give Clinton some work related papers but is unable to go back as she is unable to remember the way to the parking lot so Clinton takes her there. When they get to the parking lot,what they find shocks them. They finds Kyla standing in front of Quan and she looks like she's kissing him. Aaliyah walks over and pushes Kyla away but slaps Quan hard. When he tells her he can explain,she just shuts him up and asks Clinton to take her home.
