It was certain that Gladys wasn't that fond of Derek. She only liked the guy because he treated her well and had an appearance that was very pleasing to the eye.
But, still, that was not a reason for Gladys to stay in a relationship like this. She could get someone much better than Derek.
Not a jerk who wanted to take advantage of her, especially a scumbag who had an affair with her own friend.
Apple seemed to have returned to the time when she was cheated on. As such, she was vehemently against it if Gladys thought she'd take that bastard back.
"I think you're right." But then Gladys started praising Derek with a dreamy voice. "But he's so handsome… and also understanding… he treats me well too… he likes to make breakfast for me and put me to bed… the food he makes is delicious too."
Apple chuckled when she saw Gladys like that. "And you're willing to be cheated on just for those reasons?"
