Chapter 28: Islivaria

Diana's meeting with the king was over. A robot escorted her to her room, gliding smoothly through the corridors of the floating city. Diana was curious about the machine that accompanied her.

"What do you think of his Majesty?" she asked.

The robot tilted its head slightly, as if processing the question. "His Majesty is my creator, my father, my everything. I cannot express my feelings in words, but I know he is a symbol of leadership, power, and authority."

"I see..." Diana thought to herself. Of course, a robot would have such a loyal and reverent attitude towards its maker.

She looked around, admiring the advanced technology, the fashionable clothes, and the vibrant culture of the city. She wanted to learn more about this place and its people.

"I would like to explore this floating city, if you don't mind," she said.

"Of course, Miss Diana. Please follow me." The robot nodded and led her to the nearest elevator.

As the doors opened, the robot guided Diana through bustling markets filled with holographic displays and vibrant colors. The citizens seemed to move with a purpose, their attire blending tradition with futuristic elements.

"Is there anything specific you would like to see or learn about, Miss Diana?" the robot inquired.

"Tell me about the history of this city and its people," Diana replied, eager to uncover the secrets behind the advanced civilization.

The robot began recounting tales of innovation, unity, and the challenges overcome to create the floating city. Diana listened intently, absorbing the rich history and cultural nuances that shaped this extraordinary society.

As they strolled through parks adorned with floating gardens and interactive sculptures, Diana couldn't help but appreciate the harmony between technology and nature.

"Your city is truly remarkable," she remarked, genuinely impressed.

"Thank you, Miss Diana. We strive for a balance that ensures progress without compromising the essence of our heritage," the robot explained.

Their exploration continued, weaving through districts where holographic art installations painted the air with mesmerizing visuals. Diana felt a sense of admiration for the city's commitment to creativity and innovation.

As the sun dipped below the floating city's horizon, casting a warm glow across the skyline, Diana realized that there was much more to discover and learn about this extraordinary place and its people.

In the castle, there is a private room for the king, this room is large, like a whole house,

In the opulent chambers fit for royalty, a technological marvel awaits the king's every desire and need:

A regal sleep sanctuary featuring a smart bed that adjusts temperature, firmness, and height, catering to both preference and health. Complete with a built-in massage system and holographic projector, the bed also houses a voice assistant that seamlessly controls the room's ambiance.

Immersive experiences unfold through a cutting-edge virtual reality realm, offering wireless headsets, sensory feedback suits, and motion-tracking gloves. The library boasts a plethora of games, movies, and educational programs, ensuring the king can explore any environment or scenario of their choosing.

A loyal companion and guardian takes form in a personal robot with human-like appearance and language capabilities. Equipped with advanced sensors and weaponry, it serves as an ever-vigilant assistant and security guard.

A bountiful mini garden nurtures fresh produce through automated hydroponics, providing the king with a constant supply of fruits, vegetables, and herbs. The climate control system ensures optimal conditions for each plant species.

A dedicated spa haven indulges the king in relaxation and wellness, boasting a jacuzzi, sauna, steam room, and customizable massage chair. Aromatherapy oils, candles, and soothing music create an atmosphere of unparalleled tranquility.

The room's dynamic smart wall morphs to match the king's mood, displaying breathtaking scenery, a cozy fireplace, cherished artwork, or holographic images of loved ones.

To further elevate the royal experience, a virtual reality system within the room offers diverse environments and experiences, from global travels to interactive entertainment.

A personal assistant robot caters to every whim, seamlessly juggling tasks from cooking and cleaning to entertainment and advice.

Monitoring the king's well-being, a biofeedback bed tracks vital signs, brain waves, and mood, adjusting the room's temperature, lighting, sound, and aroma for optimal relaxation and sleep.

In the unlikely event of an emergency, a hidden escape pod stands ready, capable of flying, diving, or driving the king to safety, complete with a stealth mode and a self-destruct mechanism for utmost security.

There are more things to add however that's all I need to say.

Siah entered his room with a cold gaze, only to find 'them' occupying his space.

Ave, the girl who had once stripped in front of a crowd to ask for a favor, was now lying on his bed, munching on snacks and reading manga. She wore a tracksuit and looked like a complete neet.

Amelia, the princess of Lara Kingdom and one of Siah's allies, was sitting in the theater, watching a romantic drama from his world. She had lost her polite and well-mannered demeanor and was now engrossed in the screen.

Mae, the supreme commander of the country's military, was relaxing on the massage chair, enjoying the soothing sensation.

Kathy, the demon lord's daughter, was in the library, having a heated discussion with Zara while eating. She had been wary of Siah at first, but now she was comfortable in his presence.

Zara, the creator of the ancient civilization, was a nerd who loved to talk about magic and technology with Kathy. She had once ruled the ancient world, but now she was fascinated by Siah's knowledge.

Brok, the former adamantite adventurer known as the Dark Knight, was a demon who protected Kathy. He was minding his own business in the jacuzzi, soaking in the warm water.

Fuku, Siah's advisor, arrived. "Your Majesty, I have something to discuss with you," he said.

"Hmm? Siah?" Fuku repeated, noticing that Siah did not respond.

"GET THE HELL OUT!!" Siah shouted, throwing them all out of the door and locking it.

"Goddammit, they always use my room as their playground," Siah muttered, cooling his head as he looked around the mess.

"Ai"

"Yes, Your Highness?" Ai answered. Ai stood for A.I., an artificial intelligence, a robot that had a human form. It was created by Kathy and Zara, combining magic and technology. It was the most powerful thing they had ever made.

Ai was designed to protect, help, advise, and serve Siah in any way he desired. She had the appearance of a tall lady in a maid dress. She had black long hair and white pale skin.

"Clean this place up, and make sure they don't come in," Siah ordered.

"As you wish," she said, and in just minutes, she cleaned the whole room, making it sparkle.

"Thank you," Siah said, watching her work.

"Hey, Siah! Let us in!" Mae yelled.

"Siah! I want to finish that manga!" Ave whined.

"Siahh!!! I'm hungry!!" Kathy complained.

"Siah! Let me finish that movie!!" Amelia begged.

"I need those books for the breakthrough!!" Zara demanded.

While they were shouting and knocking on the door, Siah suddenly opened it. "Don't make a mess, okay!?" he said angrily, feeling like he was taking care of children.

"Yay!!" All of the girls cheered, rushing in.

Brok and Fuku stayed outside.

Siah stared at them suspiciously. "Hey," he said.

"I have to protect the princess at all times! Yeah, that's right!" Brok said, making up an excuse.

"Just get inside," Siah said.

"Then..." Brok slipped in.

Siah stared at Fuku. "I came here to report something..." Fuku said awkwardly.

Siah sighed. "Let's talk inside."

Siah and Fuku went inside, finding a chair in the kitchen that was not taken by the others.

"So? What did you want to tell me?" Siah asked.

"Well, the princess of Saytan Kingdom and the prince of Bangar Kingdom arrived unexpectedly, but they both came for the same reason. They wanted to investigate the undead dragon that our jet fighters killed the other day. Because of that incident, many people from different places have come and settled in our city," Fuku reported, handing Siah the papers.

"Oh? That's nothing new. What's the problem with that?" Siah asked, confused.

"Well... a quarter of them are spies from different countries, and one of them is from the Holy Empire," Fuku said.

"The Holy Empire, huh. I expected that we would attract attention sooner or later. Send someone to spy on those spies. This place will be discovered by the whole continent eventually," Siah said.

This continent had six countries, including ours. Kingdom of Lara, the Empire, Saytan Kingdom, Bangar Kingdom, and the Holy Empire, which was the largest and strongest among them.

Next to the Holy Empire was a barren land, where the Demon King's realm used to be. But after the war, the Holy Empire destroyed it, leaving it empty and desolate.

Meanwhile, at the border of the Holy Empire and the old Demon King's realm, a swarm of undeads, consisting of people, animals, and monsters, rose and attacked the border.

"HAHAHAHAHAHA!!! Diee!" A man in a black cloak, hiding his identity, laughed like a madman as he opened a portal connecting the underworld and the world, summoning dead creatures...

Including the hero and the Demon King.

At the border:

"We'll take 20 sacks of meat, 5 kg of salt, and 50 sacks of rice," a high-ranking officer from the Holy Empire said as he purchased what they needed from the traveling merchant.

[Name: Kyle

The merchant, who looked like an old man, used a scientific calculator. "That will be 71 gold coins."

"Oh?" The Baron was curious. "What is that? A magic tool?" he asked.

"No, this is a scientific calculator. You can press the buttons and do arithmetic operations like addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division," the merchant explained.

"Oh, that's useful, isn't it? Where did you get that?" the Baron asked.

"I got it from Islivaria," the merchant said.

"Islivaria again... Can you tell me more about that country?" the Baron asked.

"That will cost you a bit..." the merchant said, smiling.

The Baron gave him a bag of gold coins with 10 gold coins inside. The merchant grinned.

"Islivaria is a country that sells strange but useful things. Their technology is advanced! They have tall buildings that reach the sky! They even have a floating castle and a city! The king is said to be a genius who invented all of those. The Kingdom of Lara and the Empire also formed an alliance with them. They are second only to the Holy Empire, or maybe even stronger!" the merchant said.

"Hey, watch your mouth," the Baron said, glaring at him.

"Hmph! These nobles, I'm leaving," the merchant said and left.

"Islivaria, huh... I should report this to the king-" The Baron stopped, as the place where he was standing suddenly became dark, as if it was night.

The Baron looked up and saw the huge Aegis Skyblade flying above him, heading towards the battlefield.

"What..." the Baron was speechless, as he watched the bizarre flying vehicle wipe out all the undead on the battlefield in minutes!

The Baron felt a chill run down his spine as he realized that he was witnessing the power of Islivaria. He wondered if the king knew about this, and what he would do. He quickly mounted his horse and rode back to the camp, where he saw his men cheering and celebrating.

"Sir, we won! We won!" one of his knights shouted.

"Yes, we did. But not because of us," the Baron said, pointing at the sky.

The knights looked up and saw the Aegis Skyblade flying away, leaving a trail of smoke behind.

"What is that?" one of them asked.

"That is probably from the Islivaria's weapon. I don't believe that the Holy Empire has something like that... more importantly they just saved us from the undead horde," the Baron said.

"Wow, they are amazing! They are our allies, right?" another knight said.

"I don't know. Maybe they are, maybe they are not. But one thing is certain. They are dangerous. And we should be careful of them," the Baron said.

"Immediately send a report to The Emperor! This is urgent!"

He had to report this to the Emperor as soon as possible. He hoped that the Emperor would have a plan to deal with Islivaria, or else they might face a new enemy that could threaten their supremacy.
