Chapter 11: Lost

The dungeon city is famous for having the largest dungeon in the world and having the most dungeons in one place. It is located underground, and when the hero cleared the dungeon, the humans took advantage of the dungeon and made it into a large city filled with adventurers.

Not only that, it is also famous as the hero used to train there, making it not only the best place for adventures but also a great tourist spot.

Now, Siah and his team are planning to go to the dungeon city; however, you need to cross three countries to get there. Of course, they can go there with the help of a helicopter, but Siah decided that it would be more fun if they went there by land.

Using an armored vehicle that is made for traveling—it's like an RV, but it's made for traveling like this, and it's much bigger and has much more power—driving to different terrains isn't a problem.

They use 2 RVs, 4 hover bikes as scouts, dozens of drones, and his personal bodyguards equipped with weapons that can defeat strong monsters.

On the day when everything was ready and they were about to depart, Siah escaped and had already gone there.

"WHAT!!?" Fuku shouted.

"Yes, as the letter we found in his room shows, that's clearly his handwriting," Mae reported.

[ wassup! This is Siah. I'll be going first. With all that preparation you did, it will be boring, and I don't want that. Don't worry about me. 😉 I can handle myself PS: Don't even try to find me. ]

"This fool! Does he even know where the path is towards Dungeon City? My goodness! Find him immediately!" Fuku ordered.

"Understood," Mae replied, and she walked away with her team.

Meanwhile, Siah is currently in the middle of a forest, and even I don't know where he is.

"Damn, where the fck am I?" as he scratches his head.

"It's been an hour since I sent robot birds as scouts, yet there's still no sign where I am or the exit. If I remember correctly, I left the base and used a hover bike to get out of the kingdom of Lara. I flew my way through the demon forest, but now, where is this place?"

He continued to walk. "It's full of trees, like the demon forest, but I know fully well that I left that place."

"Am I... lost?" He stopped.

"Shit, this isn't good; Fuku will kill me if he finds me, and if I don't make it until 2 weeks to the dungeon city, my adamantite title will vanish," he thought for a moment, getting a glimpse that he was in a serious situation.

"Ahhh!!! Shit! shit! I fucked up real bad this time, damn!" he laughed. Yes, he's currently laughing in a serious situation.

It's been an hour, and using his helicopter, he manages to escape from the forest he's stuck in. "Clearing out a place for the helicopter was the best idea, but shit, what the fck is wrong with this forest anyway? I've been in the air for an hour now, yet I still can't see the exit. Is this a curse of something?"

While exploring and looking for an exit, Siah saw smoke in the distance. "Oh my! There must be some settlement there or something!" He immediately went there with his helicopter.

He got there minutes later, just to see a village that was being destroyed by monsters. From the looks of it, they are already dead, but the monsters are still destroying those houses. Siah jumped, putting his helicopter in his item box.

And he landed both his feet on the ground. The impact cracked the ground, and he landed in the middle of the village, getting the attention of the monsters. The monsters are different races, just like what I fought in the demon forest.

"ALRIGHT! Let the party begin, shall we?" he said, throwing dozens of grenades into the monsters. The explosion echoed through the wilderness, smoke arose, and the monsters roared and started rushing towards Siah.

Instead of fear, Siah smiled. His smile is full of excitement; he's... enjoying it! With his rifle and his reflex, he easily annihilated the monsters; every time he fires his rifle, it's all headshots.

In just 5 minutes, he killed them all—all of them—around 1 thousand and more monsters.

A loud roar echoed in the air: "Finally, the boss, huh?" He's still excited, like a crazy man on the loose, and a large bear came rushing to Siah with his four feet the moment he got close to Siah.

The bear swung his hand with those large and sharp claws of his towards Siah. The bear was fast, but Siah's reaction time was faster. The moment the bear got close to him and swung his hand, Siah jumped using his jumped boots and fired multiple times on the bear's head mid-air.

The bear's head blew up to the point that it was all the holes in the bullets that penetrated; he got down to the ground.

"Pew, is that everything?" He takes something from his item box; it's a radar advanced enough to detect any monsters. The radar covers 1, 5, or 10 kilometers, depending on what you want to detect.

Siah put it on 10 kilometers, and it seems there's no monster left; it's just some random monsters nearby. "Hmm?" He noticed something on his radar.

Just near him, it detects something; he puts it on 1 km and follows it. Expecting that there might be a monster hiding, he walks around, following the detection on the radar. The village is full of blood, but there's no single corpse.

"That's strange," Siah said.

The moment he got there, he found a collapsed house. The house on the building is made of rocks, but there's no sign of it getting built; it's as if it were made from nature.

He puts the collapse house in his item box, cautious. As the place was cleared, what he found was a small wooden box. He pointed his pistol and slowly approached the box. He opened it and was ready to fire, but to his surprise, there's a girl inside of it.

The girl was unconscious; Siah picked her up, but he saw something strange about the girl; she... have a horn.

A sheep-like creature sporting a white face with black horns, she is cloaked in a fluffy white dress adorned with white flowers, featuring a round neckline, short sleeves, a fitted bodice, and a flared skirt that reaches to her knees.

As soon as Siah picked up the girl, the girl woke up. With her sleepy eyes, she looked at Siah and said, "They are both confused.

"Ummm... who are you?" Siah said.

But she replied with something Siah didn't understand: "□●□●●●○○○●●¿"

"I don't understand you, girl."

The girl then sighed and swung her little right hand; suddenly, a small light appeared. Siah quickly put her down, took a step back, and quickly pointed his gun at her.

"Calm down, human," the girl said.

"What was that earlier?" Siah asked.

"Magic, for us to communicate properly."

"Magic?" That's interesting; it's the first time I've seen one.

"Well, I figured you wouldn't know; after all, you humans are inferior when it comes to magic."

"Well, you can mock me as much as you want, but that won't work on me."

"Hmp! You have some strange weapons; you can put them down. I don't want to fight someone who killed the monsters who destroyed my village."

She then walks towards me and bows, "Thank you. From the bottom of my heart, thank you for avenging them." A tear drops on the floor. She wipes her face with her clothes and looks toward me.

"Human, I have no place to go. As my savior, I'm sure I can trust you. Can I come with you? I won't be a burden. I have magic that can even destroy a small country."

"Siah, that's my name; you can call me that. Anyway, you don't seem like a bad person; can you tell me what you are?"

"Very well, I'm Kathy, from the demon folks; let me tell you what happened here."

She tells Siah her story while they walk around her village. Kathy is from the demon race. After the war between the demon lord and humans, humans hate them; they hunt them for fun, enslave them, and use them for nasty experiments.

Because of this, they have no choice but to flee into the demon forest, where magic is thin, making them weak.

"So, why did the demon lord even start a war between the humans?"

"I don't know; he's a crazy dictator; because of his power, no one opposed him; not all the demons are like him, but no one listened; every race hates us."

"I see." The atmosphere is ugly. "Do you have somewhere to go to?" Siah asked.

"I don't; this is the last village in this forest. There might still be demons out there, but the chances are slim, and I don't think I can find them," she says, looking at Siah. "That's why I want you to take me."

"Having a demon by my side will attract attention." Kathy then got sad. "But that isn't a problem." Siah took out his system and bought a necklace.

Quantum stealth is a type of camouflage that can bend light of any wavelength, including infrared and ultraviolet, around an object, making it invisible to both the eye and the camera. This material is based on a phenomenon called quantum tunneling, which allows particles to pass through barriers that they normally could not. By wearing this necklace, you could create a barrier that would allow light to tunnel through your body, making it seem as if you were transparent. ]

"Here, this necklace can make you invisible or just parts of your body that you want; make your horns invisible."

"Thank you," she said, and she put it on herself. "Focus on the thing you want to make invisible." She then closed her eyes and focused. A few seconds later, her horns became invisible.

"Ohh, you're a fast learner! Good one!" she nodded in embarrassment.
