Aaradhana encounters Shaktivel

Morning 8.50 am at Arjun's office

Arjun waits for Aaradhana .Aaradhana reaches there by 9 am

Aaradhana- Good Morning Sir

Arjun- Good Morning Ms. Aaradhana.

Aaradhana(in mind)- Why his eyes are swollen? Didnt he sleep in night?

Aaradhana- Sir, may i ask you something personal?

Arjun - Yes.

Aaradhana- Arjun ,Did something happen yesterday, Didnt you get good sleep? Why your eyes are swollen?

(Arjun gets shocked)

Arjun(in mind) - How did she find that my eyes are swollen? How did she find that i didnt sleep well at night? My amma, Anitha even my friend shaktivel didnt notice this.

Arjun- Yes Aaradhana. you are right.My eyes are swollen, because I slept well yesterday. One of my responsibility got reduced.

Aaradhana- Which responsibility? What are you telling?

Arjun - Your engagement. I promised you that I'll take care of all responsiblities for your marriage. As your engagement is done I feel that one of big load of responsibility got down from my head.

Aaradhana- Am i burden to you?

Arjun - Common Aaradhana . You are not a burdern. But you are my responsibility . There is huge difference between those two .

Aaradhana ( who didnt expect this)- ok Arjun

(Aaradhana goes to her place silently)

Arjun - Aaradhana.

Aaradhana- Yes Sir..

Arjun-Cancel all the meeting in that's will happen in today afternoon. We have something else to do day.

Aaradhana- Sir , But today's meeting are so important.

Arjun- The thing we are going to do is more important than these meetings.

Aaradhana- What are we going to do ? and Where?

Arjun - You'll get to know once we reach there.

Aaradhana - Ok.

Arjun - Ah.. Shaktivel ,My friend and Anitha's husband will also be joining us.

Aaradhana -Ok.

Arjun(in mind) - I want to see , how you react when I ask you to select my engagement ring.

Arjun and Aaradhana waits for shaktivel in a jewellery shop in T.Nagar(place in chennai)

Arjun calls Shakitvel

Shakitvel/Karmegam - Tell me Arjun. I am on the way to...

(Before he could complete he spots Aaradhana with Arjun in front of jewellery shop)

Karmegam( in mind) - Why is she here with arjun ? Arjun didnt inform me that Aaradhana will also be joining us for selecting his engagement ring. Thank God I didnt come early before them. If I reach there before them. Will Aaradhana introduce Arjun me as her fiance or Arjun will introduce me as his sister's husband. I totally forgot that both of them are cousins. I have to be careful from now on. Or else all my plans will get flopped.

Arjun - Where are you man?

Karmegam - I am sorry my friend. I got a call from my client. He wants to talk something important regarding the case. i have to go.

Arjun- You...

Karmegam- Please dont misunderstand me. Anyway your cousin will be with you right. She will help you with the engagement ring.

Arjun - What? I didnt tell you that Aaradhana is coming with us.

Karmegam gets shocked

Karmegam - You didnt tell me Arjun. But Anitha told that your cousin will take care of all responsibility in your marriage. So I made a guess that your cousin will be accompanying you for selecting your engagement ring. But I am sure now that she's with you .

Arjun - okk

Karmegam sighs out of relief

Arjun asks the staff to show couple rings

Aaradhana - Arjun, can you tell me why are we here?

Arjun- We are here to purchase my engagement ring. And you should help me in finding it

Aaradhana steps backward for a moment. she turns her face to side and calms herself. Arjun notice this

Arjun(in mind) - I knew it .I knew that this will have great impact in your heart. (smiles lightly)

Arjun- Aaradhana ? Why are you turning your face. Turn this side and help me in selecting the ring pleasen .

Aaradhana turns and her eyes falls on a simple ,double layered couple ring. While, the women ring have a small stone in center , men's ring doesnt have it.

She imagines Arjun and her exchanging this couple ring .She then sees her ring in her hand.Tears drop from her eyes. Before Arjun could notice this she wipes her tears.

She then selects another ring which looks grand and luxurious and gives to Arjun.

Arjun - Are you sure? You like this?

Aaradhana- Yes..

Arjun - ok. Then pack this ring Sir

Staff -Ok.

Arjun -Aaradhana, you go wait in car , I'll join you after paying the bill.

Aaradhana -Ok

(She goes to car )

Arjun looks that at the double layered ring which Aaradhana was looking early

Arjun (in mind)- Do you think that you can hide your feelings from me?. If you want to me not to notice then should have turn in direction where "CCTV" is not there. Through CCTV, I saw how you were looking this ring and how you were checking your ring in your hand and how your tear fell from your eyes.There is only two possibities for you to cry on seeing this ring. One is you feel that your ring is more cheaper than this ring (or) You are not happy with my engagement and your engagement.I know it for sure that you are not a girl who values for luxurious items. You value people a lot. Finally I got to know that you are not happy with my engagement and yours. When will you confess your feelings Aaradhana?

Aaradhana entering the car starts to cry

Aaradhana - Why Arjun ? Why are you doing this to me ? Why are you making things difficult for me. You are making it difficult for me to live in this world.

As she sees Arjun coming towards car, she started wiping her face.

Arjun - Aaradhana, let's go to my apartment. You show amma the ring.

As soon Aaradhana enters Poorva hugs

Poorva - Rani, How are you dear? It's been a week since you visited us. Why didn't you visit us all these days? You don't know how much I missed you all these while.

Aaradhana - Sorry athai, I promise you I'll visit you often.

Poorva - Ok dear.

Anitha comes there and hugs Aaradhana.

Anitha - Where were you ...

Before she completes her speech Arjun interuppted and said all the things Poorva said to Aaradhana.

Arjun - Am I right? Is that what you want to tell?

Anitha - How did you Know?

Arjun - You and amma have same mindset. Just now she said these things to Aaradhana

Poorva pulls Arjun's ear

Poorva - When will you stop teasing us Arjun??

Arjun - Amma...

Anitha takes Aaradhana inside.

Arjun - Amma, your Rani selected my engagement rings. Rani give me the cover.

( Arjun takes the ring (the luxurious one) and gives to Poorva. Poorva gets shocked on seeing this)

Poorva - Rani, tell me one thing . Did you select these rings?

Aaradhana - Yes athai. Why?

Poorva - I know you are a simple minded girl. You'll not wish for luxury item. How did you select these luxurious rings?

Aaradhana - It's good to know that you knew that I am a simple minded girl. To be frank I don't like these luxurious stuff. If the ring is for me I would have selected a simple one. But you know Rupali, she's a girl with high standards. And all her ornament and dress are of high standards. So she'll not feel happy if her engagement ring is simple even though she'll not express it.

Poorva- Good Aaradhana. You are so thoughtful as always. You didn't disappoint me.

Poorva hugs Aaradhana and kisses her forehead

Poorva ( thinks) - Why Aaradhana ? I would be the happiest person in the world, if you become my daughter-in-law. If you say that you consider Arjun more than a friend I'll marry him to you.

(Anitha breaks their hug)

Anitha- Aaradhana, Now that you are here .I'll introduce my husband shaktivel to you .

Anitha (shouts) - Shakitvel !!! Shaktivel !!! . Come down.

( Getting no response Anitha takes Aaradhana to Shaktivel )

Aaradhana gets shocked on seeing Shaktivel. Anitha stars at Aaradhana...

Anitha starts laughing. Aaradhana controls her laughter.

Anitha - Why did you do Facial yourself?. When I asked you , you ignored me.

( She takes picture of him)

Anitha does facial for Poorva.

Anitha sees Shaktivel

Anitha - Shaktivel, Come here I'll do facial for you.

Shaktivel/Karmegam- No my queen. Boys don't do facial like girls.

Anitha- Whose said like that? Boys will also do facial in other countries. Even heroes in our country do facial before any shoot. You know what this facial pack can be used by both men and women.

Shaktivel - No my queen...

Before he could complete his words, Poorva while removing her facial tells, "Anitha, Come down. Arjun is here with Rani"

Anitha goes down first

Shaktivel see Arjun coming with Aaradhana by standing outside his room. Before Aaradhana sees her, he goes inside his room.

Shaktivel - So Rani means "Aaradhana" .I am finished. I am sure that this Anitha will introduce me to Aaradhana. By seeing the way they treat her I am sure she's important to this family. If she tells that her engagement happened with me Arjun will get to know that I am cheating his sister and he will burn me alive. No Karmegam, think..You cannot ruin your plan yourself. Think. something... Do something.

( Karmegam sees the bowl with mix for Facial)

He applies on his face hurriedly.

Shaktivel/Karmegam ( changing his voice) - What is this my queen? What will Aaradhana think on seeing me like this? I didn't come down because I did facial not to disappoint you. But you Now you disappointed me .

Aaradhana - No Shaktivel. I didn't think anything bad. I am happy as your doing even small things not to disappoint your wife. I wished to have younger sister always. Though Anitha is my cousin,I consider her as my own sister. I am happy as along as she's happy.

( Poorva , Arjun stand behind the door and listened their conversation)

Poorva - Arjun. You and Rani disappointed me. You are marrying Rupali and she is marrying Karmegam. Things are didn't go out of her hand even now. If you are Ok.I'll ask Urmila...

( Before she completes)

Arjun - Amma stop this. Her engagement is already over with Karmegam. If she's not happy with her marriage she would have told by now. I can't wait for anymore. I have to move on .

Poorva - Arjun . Please consider.

Arjun - Amma ,I'll wait for her till my marriage. If I didnt get any response, I'll start my life with Rupali.
