Chapter Twenty Four

The thugs begin to shiver when they felt his bloodlust and they all begin to step back until it remains only the five thugs who instigated the fight.The stagnant thugs looked at the man staring at them with dominating blue eyes and they fell to their knees because they couldn't keep up.

"Haven't you heard of the saying 'you don't touch what belongs to the devil' but you guys decided to touch my possession,the one i,Ephraim claimed mine.You really have guts".By now his eyes is now glowing dangerously blood red.

Damon gulped because he could now see the visible dark red veins of his prince which meant only one thing [his dark magic is reacting to his anger],that same magic that turned him to the first ever strongest and most dangerous royal in existence even though he is just twenty years old.For sure all the thugs will be dieing (he nodded affirmatively).

"Who sent you?" Ephraim asked them in a low voice which paralysed the thugs more.When he saw that they are unable to answer him he went directly into their heads to look into their memories but everything seem blank,there was no memory stored in their brain.They only have memory of the fight till when they saw him.

"No one sent you? You guys just decided to touch what is mine" Ephraim smiled madly and said "that is the mistake you made,underestimating me".

He strecthed his hands and a dark smoke left them going straight for anything on its way.The five thugs near him felt their lungs being squeezed when the smoke touched them and they turned into ashes.

The remaining thugs began to beg for their lives and asking him to not devour them but unfortunately Ephraim's dark magic is now in a killing mode there is nothing that will stop it until it turns the last human person to dust.

Damon looked at the prince's eyes which has turned from blood red to the normal cold blue and he sighed in relief.It seems the prince dark side become satisfied quickly because he wants to get to the soon to be princess early.

"Damon i need you to pack this ashes and put it in a transparent jar put the jar in the market square exactly the place the fight happened with the warning label [THIS IS WHAT WILL BECOME OF ANYONE WHO DARES TO CHALLENGE THE AUTHORITY OF MR.EPHRAIM----NO ONE TOUCHES WHAT HE OWNS.BEWARE!!!].After you have done that i need you to meet me at my fiancee house we need to prepare for our departure tomorrow".

'Okay my prince' Damon said before disapppering immediately to do as he was ordered.

At the Cross mansion.

'Baby you are back early?' Charles asked his daughter.

'Yes i am father.Ephraim had some business to attend to in the market' Euphorial answered as she sat down with her father in the parlour and a maid brought a juice for her.

'So when is he getting you a ring?' Euphorial blushed at her father's shameless words.

'I don't know when maybe he will buy one for me today from the market' she said shyly.

'Do you like him? Don't marry him just because of fear or because just because you want to run away from this village' her father said in concern.

'I like him.I'm not marrying him because i want to run away from this village' Euphorial lied to her father.Actually she agreed to marry Ephraim because she knows that he is cable of protecting her and she knew that he wouldn't leave her here even though they are just engaged.She had noticed that he is a kind of person that like to keep things for himself even when he doesn't have attachment to the thing,he is a possessive man over anything he has claimed.As she was still in her thoughts she heard one of the maids welcoming Ephraim back.She immediately stood up eager to welcome him back also.

'You are back Mr.Ephraim? Welcome bac--' she couldn't complete her sentence because Ephraim hugged her immediayely he saw her and she blushed for the public affection he is showing her even before the passer by and the working maids.

"I have missed your touch,pat my back whenever i hug you.It seems to calm me down" Ephraim told her and she began to pat his broad back.

It was at that moment Damon came back from his assigned mission and he smile when he saw what his prince is doing unknowingly because he has seem to forget that he doesn't allow anyone to touch him except his mother and twin sister.It seem the soon to be princess has become an exception to that rule.

"Let us go back inside i don't want you to fall sick before our wedding" Damon heard his prince say and he followed after the prince and the soon to be princess.

Inside the house,

'Welcome back Mr.Ephraim' Charles welcomed him.

"Please call me without the honorics father in-law (he faced his aide and said to him) go and meet her hand maid Kayla to help you pack the stuffs of my beauty,we are departing tomorrow".

Charles called a nearby maid to inform the chef to start preparing dinner.
