Chapter 66: Lunch with Mr.Song

The next morning, the first thing Bai Yi Yang do is portion the prawn stock into a sealed plastic and put it in the freezer after leaving enough for making prawn noodle soup for breakfast. Bai Yi Yang made the soup for the noodle by adding other ingredients and the prawn stock, then blanch the noodles in boiling water, she already portion them before and directly placed them into bowls. Bai Yi Chen has the biggest bowl as usual.

After the soup start to boil, she took 10 whole prawn and blanch them together with the soup before adding the soup into the bowls. Then slice some garnish on top.

In the middle of working with the doors, the junior agent from PureLife arrive with the water purifier. Bai Yi Yang bring him to the kitchen and the young man immediately look shocked, he didn't think that their kitchen looks this good. Last time, they only sat at the living room, it was clean but empty.

The junior agent has installed a lot of water purifier before, Bai Yi Yang pointed at the place where she thinks is suitable which is on the counter between the sink and fridge. The agent immediately nod in agreement.

Since this involves some plumbing work on the pipe in the sink, he also ask to turn off the pipe for a while. Bai Yi Yang went outside to turn it off before letting him do his job, she also returned to her job.

It takes only longer than 30 minutes before the agent come out and ask for the pipe to be turn on again. He still need to check it it is working. Bai Yi Chen went to turn it on this time while Bai Yi Yang goes inside the kitchen.

"Is everything fine?" She ask casually.

"Yes, its going well." The junior agent said after checking that the water from the pipe is flowing into the water purifier.

"You can wait for 1-2 hour before using it, it takes time to purify the water and storing it inside, I have check the water flow and it is going well. Of course if you notice any problem, you can call us, we will try to come latest by 1 day. Other than that, the service schedule is as in brochure, we will notify you in advance before coming to service." The junior agent said.

"Alright, thank you." Bai Yi Yang said.

"Miss is kind. If there is anyone who is interested, Miss can help promote our brand." The agent said. Bai Yi Yang nod and send him out. After that, she returns to doing her job. She only stop when it was near 12 pm.

"No, no. I will continue for a bit more and take a short rest later, I can finish this in less than 2 hours." He said. Bai Yi Yang is worried that he may get heat stroke like this.

"Why don't Mr.Song have lunch here. Take a rest bah, the sun here is no joke. The bathroom is over here if Mr.Song want to freshen up." Bai Yi Yang said.

"Yes, Mr.Song, the sun is too strong. Come in first, there is no rush in finishing the job. You are already ahead of your schedule." Bai Yi Chen also said a few words. Mr.Song finally nod and went under the shade.

"Then, I will trouble you siblings then." Mr.Song said.

"No problem. If you don't mind old clothes, we have some old clothes that can fit you, you take a bath then change." Bai Yi Chen said.

"Good, good. Then, I will gladly accept." Mr.Song follows Bai Yi Chen to the East house then enters the bathroom in the West house with changing clothes.

Bai Yi Yang is already in the kitchen, cutting up half a chicken that she had take out in the morning to defrost, she is going to make Szechuan chicken, a sweet and spicy stir fry chicken with big green pepper. She is also cooking some tomato egg soup and refreshing cucumber salad. She planned to cook extra portion for adult, she can feel that Mr.Song may eat the same portion as Bai Yi Chen. Its better if he can eat until full since he is a guest.

Bai Yi Ling came to the kitchen to help not long after, as usual, she start with cooking rice, Bai Yi Yang remind her to cook extra portion for 1 adult today. Then after that she help with seasoning the cucumber, Bai Yi Ling has seen her sister make this a few times, so she can remember it now. After that Bai Yi Yang told her to put it in the fridge to chill.

Bai Yi Yang make the dishes together in different pot, this is the perks of having many pots, she doesn't need to wait for 1 dish to finish before cooking the next one. Her cooking time is reduced by a lot.

She finished making it in less than 30 minutes, after rushing to go take a bath, when she enter the kitchen, everyone is already seated with an additional Mr.Song. When they start eating, Mr.Song immediately full of praise towards Bai Yi Yang cooking. The siblings is used to Bai Yi Yang good food so they all immediately agree to Mr.Song. Mr.Song is a big eater like Bai Yi Chen, but other than that, he is also a neat person, just like his personality. So the siblings feels comfortable eating with him.

After a fulfilling lunch, Bai Yi Chen offer him their bedroom to rest, the other room in the East house is occupied with the windows so he didn't offer it. Mr.Song gladly accept it, he feels more at ease now after interacting with the Bai siblings, they are all good kids in his eyes.

As for the Bai siblings, they all went into the Main house and rest there. But Bai Yi Yang didn't really have a peaceful rest, that was because the delivery from G supermarket came just when she start falling asleep, they texted her a notification and she went outside to wait.

After that, since there are a lot of things that cannot be left outside, she start arranging the things into the fridge such as the ice creams, vegetables and other frozen food. As for the other, she leave it on the table, she will arrange it later.

Mr. Song woke up at 2.00 pm and proceed with his work, this is what Bai Yi Yang see when she came out of the kitchen after tidying up the stuff. It still took her some times to clean up.

Bai Yi Yang only said a few words before heading back to the kitchen, she wanted to check if their water purifier is working. She tested the normal temperature first, then the cold temperature and lastly the hot water. It all works.

"Uncle Song, if you are tired take a rest and drink some water." Bai Yi Yang said. During lunch, they all agree to change the way they address each other.

"Alright, yatou you don't need to remind me that. I am someone who is afraid of suffering." Mr.Song joke. Bai Yi Yang nod and return to the main house. Bai Yi Chen is also awake now, sitting in the living room.

"What are we doing later?" He asked.

"Installing windows. You help me." Bai Yi Yang said.

"Alright. Let me freshen up a bit first." Bai Yi Chen stood up and enter the bathroom to wash his face. Bai Yi Yang also went into the bedroom to change clothes.

"Woke up?" She said to Xiao Ling who has a messy hair, she just woke up and still dazed.

"En." She hummed an answer.

"Jie, I am going to the village later. My classmate has returned from holiday, so she wants me to teach her some school works." Bai Yi Ling said.

"Okay, you go." Bai Yi Yang agree. Other than Bo Yuan, seems like there is another kid her age in the village.

Bai Yi Ling went to wash her face too, then tidy up her school bags. When Bai Yi Chen and Bai Yi Ling start removing the old windows in the kitchen, Bai Yi Ling said goodbye to them and head to the village with a school bag.

"She said a classmate ask her to teach some school work." Bai Yi Yang said to Bai Yi Chen.

"En. Xiao Ling is a top student in her year." Bai Yi Chen said.

Bai Yi Yang can guess it without asking Bai Yi Ling, she had the brain and high interest in studying, of course she can be the top student. Sometimes, when Bai Yi Ling read some difficult articles and understand more than half of it at that age, Bai Yi Yang still feel amazed, well, she is the one who is the most similar to the one from the other world.

Bai Yi yang taught Bai Yi Chen on how to use some of her tools, but he is not very used to it, Bai Yi Yang didn't let him do it alone because she doesn't want him to get injured. He become her little assistant instead, passing the things on the floor to her who is working on the windows.

Installing a window is very easy, in no time, they finished installation for the two windows in the kitchen. Then they move to the West house, first is the workshop then the two bedroom.

"We still don't have a curtain, you sure you want to install this in your room?" Bai Yi Yang ask.

As for the Main house, she only plan to install the new window to the living room and two extra bedroom, the one they are sleeping now is still using the old one. This is because she doesn't want to sleep with bright light during the day. So she decide to install the windows in her room after buying curtains.

"En, no difference." Bai Yi Chen nod. He usually take a nap at the living room during the day so he don't mind. By the time they finished, Mr.Song also finished his job. It is quite early, only 2.45 pm.
