Chapter 254: Another project is finished and Dongfang Qi Ze’s pursuer

On the next morning, Bai Yi Yang is busy dealing with Interior Designer Ru Qing. She came together with the staffs who came to pick up the last batch of furniture.

"With this last trip, we can finally complete The Eve's house design." Ru Qing said as she chat with Bai Yi Yang in the kitchen while having some shrimp aglio olio that Bai Yi Yang made for her. This is almost her brunch.

"You have work hard jie." Bai Yi Yang grinned. She and Ru Qing contacted each other frequently, so, they have decided to change how they call each other. What more, even if the project at The Eve's Residence is complete, they still need to work together on the house at the condominium complex near the university.

"Not at all, I just hope you like it when you see it by yourself." Ru Qing smile back as she fix her glasses.

"I will surely love it, I showed it to my siblings and they also love it." Bai Yi Yang said. They finally don't have to stay in hotel anymore, when they come to City Nan, they will have their own place by then.

"What do you say, we settle the payment when I am done or when you go to City Nan later?" Ru Qing ask. Actually, everything has been purchased, labour fee has been calculated but the house isn't considered complete yet, they still need to check it after everything is complete so they cannot finalised it now.

"Both is fine. When you are done, you can send me the statement, I will pay it to your company's account." Bai Yi Yang said.

"En, then I will do that." Ru Qing nod and continue to eat. Bai Yi Yang also treat her staffs with some food, they are sitting at the dining table now.

"About the other house, I will start working on the furniture after the school holiday, so I will contact you again later, is that alright jie? Do you have work arranged in mid-September or October?" Bai Yi Yang ask.

"I will be free by in September but late October, I have something else to do, I will fill you in. I actually have a new project soon." Ru Qing said.

"Look at our new rising star, good for you." Bai Yi Yang tease Ru Qing. Ru Qing is not the same person she met at first, she is now more confident and she have a lot of subordinate.

"That's also okay, I can take my time making the furniture." Bai Yi Yang agree with the arrangement.

"You are teasing me, it all started because you pick me to do the job for this house. What more you give me two more jobs after that." Ru Qing said.

"Jie, I like your design, it is really up to my alley. It's all your talent." Bai Yi Yang praise again.

"Sweet mouth." Ru Qing laugh and continue to eat.

Ru Qing and her team only left by around 11.00 am. As for Bai Yi Yang, she planned to go to the greenhouse to do some light work. She feels empty every time she finish a project too, luckily work never ends, there are always something new that she can do.

When Bai Yi Yang return home to cook lunch, she saw her younger siblings lying around on the trampoline, they must be tired playing around.

"Xiao Mo, when gege returns, ask him to help you cover the trampoline. It will rain in the evening." Bai Yi Yang said.

"It will rain?!" Both of the kids sat up and look at Bai Yi Yang.

"I already mark it on the calendar last week." Bai Yi Yang said, ignoring their shocked look. She can predict weather but not change it, there is nothing she can do even if they don't want it to rain.

"We already invite our friends to come play." Bai Yi Mo and Bai Yi Fang followed their older sister to the kitchen. Actually they wanted to bring friends over this morning but Ru Qing and his team was here so it was postponed.

"Later, tomorrow will be sunny." Bai Yi Yang said as she goes through the fridge.

"But, we already told them." Bai Yi Mo said again.

"Then go find Xiao Ling and tell her to help you call your friend's parents. The rain won't stop until late evening. It's better not to play outside later." Bai Yi Yang said again.

The two kids sigh and can only return to the Main house to find Bai Yi Ling.

"Who do you want to call?" Bai Yi Ling ask.

"Shitou, Xiao Bao, Mu Zi, Li Su Nuo.." Bai Yi Mo list the name.

"So many, our house is not a playground." Bai Yi Ling scold but she still search the children's respective parents. No matter what, promise is a promise. What if they invite people to come but the rain continue to fall to the evening. So, Bai Yi Ling can only call each of them.

The response are similar, they ask if it will really rain this evening since the weather now looks fine. Then, they said that they will tell their children.

Bai Yi Yang cook 3 dishes for lunch, seafood tom yum soup, kung pao chicken and lastly blanched broccoli in oyster sauce. She served TongTong's food first and wait for Bai Yi Chen to return. Bai Yi Chen went to town today to buy ingredients in advance, he said tomorrow he want to focus on studying.

Bai Yi Yang went to take a bath and when he come out of her bedroom, her siblings are gathering at the kitchen, seems like Bai Yi Chen is back.

"Eat lunch first." Bai Yi Yang said when she saw Bai Yi Chen start sorting out the stuff.

"Okay." Bai Yi Chen nod and them 5 siblings start having their lunch.

"Ge, I will go cover up the dried mushrooms. When you done, help cover the trampoline." Bai Yi Yang said to Bai Yi Chen who is doing the dishes. Bai Yi Chen nod.

"Jie, I will help you." Bai Yi Ling said and follow Bai Yi Yang out. The two sister head to the drying platform and start covering each one with canvases.

"Second uncle, go home. It's going to rain soon." Bai Yi Yang call out to Second Zhou who is at the storage house now.

"Got it, I will soon." Second Zhou said. When it comes to weather predictions, he 100% trust Bai Yi Yang, one time he ignored it and he got drenched. Now, he have the habit of asking the Bai siblings about the weather every week. They all know because Bai Yi Yang always mark this one calendar.

After finished, Bai Yi Yang and Bai Yi Ling return home hand in hand. Bai Yi Yang enter the kitchen and continue sorting out the newly bought ingredients and make some ready made food, marinate and dim sums in advance. She can send it over to Ah Qi tomorrow and it can be their breakfast for the whole week too.

It was almost 3.00 pm when Bai Yi Yang is done. Bai Yi Yang only return to the Main house to do some revision after that. Bai Yi Ling and Bai Yi Chen is both inside their own room, the two kids are watching TV so she also end up entering her room.

The rain didn't stop until 6.00 pm, Bai Yi Yang chat with her siblings at the living room for a bit before starting to make dinner. There are 3 dishes for dinner too, simple egg fried rice, winter melon with meatball soup and lastly refreshing smashed cucumber salad.

The siblings had dinner. The children is excited as always but Bai Yi Ling and Bai Yi Chen looks a bit tired with studying. Bai Yi Yang is as usual, the exam doesn't affect her much. There are no homework so she use that time to read back some books, this is to compensate the time she chat with TongTong in class and also to show to Bai Yi Chen that she take studying seriously. If it were her, she won't even mind opening the book again, she just don't like to study, that's all.

For the first time, Bai Yi Ling decided to sleep on her own since she wanted to study more, she enter her bedroom after dinner and washing up and only come out to take drinking water or go to the toilet. Bai Yi Chen is the same, he seems to take this exam very seriously and return to his room early. Guess she is struck with the two little beans now.

Bai Yi Yang went to check the gate if they were locked then enter the kitchen to make sure all gas are turned off. This is a routine that she is used too. After that, she close the Main house door, no need to lock, just close it and join the kids to watch TV.

When she received a call from Ah Qi around 9.00 pm, she told her siblings to keep watching and enter her bedroom.

"Me? I just watch TV with Xiao Mo and Fang Fang." Bai Yi Yang said as she lie down on the bed.

"I also just finished with meeting people, was about to return to the hotel. I will return home tomorrow, I will just rest tonight." Dongfang Qi Ze said. Actually, he just come out of the private dining rooms full of old men, they are still drinking and chatting inside there when he decide to escape. Socialising? Well, he have had enough since last night and the whole day today. His objectives is basically reached, he manage to impress all the old men and they even invited him to their next gathering.

"You must be tired. You didn't drink right? Make sure to go back safely." Bai Yi Yang said worriedly.

"I drank a bit, only 2 small glass but I am not drunk. We have a driver here, no worries." Dongfang Qi Ze smile.

The 'driver' Assistant Long beside him only listen to his young master immediately calling his little girlfriend as soon as they come out. They are still waiting for Bodyguard Ling to bring the car, they come out earlier than they expected so Bodyguard Ling wasn't prepared.

"Can you even drink? If it's not because of work, I was going to scold you." Bai Yi Yang pretend to get angry, drinking is not good. In the future, she prefer that her family members don't drink and don't smoke.

"I can drink but I don't like that much. In the future, I will listen to Yang Yang and drink less." Dongfang Qi Ze have a silly smile on his face. Assistant Long keep a blind eye, well, where did their cool and indifferent young master go, he wasn't much difference than an iceberg when he was socialising this two days, so he can show this silly expression too.

"Excuse me.." While Dongfang Qi Ze was chatting with Bai Yi Yang, their conversation was interrupted by a sudden arrival of some woman.

"Sorry miss, my young master is currently occupied." Assistant Long did his job well, and step in front of his young master before the woman can approach.

"Who is that?" Bai Yi Yang on the end of the phone heard a female voice just now. Her brains can't help but generate a few possible plots.

"Just some random people, ignore it." Dongfang Qi Ze step away and let Assistant Long deal with it.

"I just want to have a few words.." The woman doesn't seems to have give up and her voice is much more louder.

"Ah..Ah Qi, I think she is not just some random people." Bai Yi Yang said. If even she can hear it clearly, then the lady must be literally shouting. Bai Yi Yang head generate more plot, don't tell her that someone is trying to hit on her boyfriend?

"En. Give me a minute." Dongfang Qi Ze sigh, he said softly to Bai Yi Yang before he cover the mic.

"What?" Dongfang Qi Ze has a grim expression as he turn and glare at the woman. Assistant Long on the side have an ugly expression too, he just can't handle this woman who insists on talking to the young master.

"Young master Dongfang, this is me Rong Wang Qing." The woman gave a big smile and hold out her hand to shake hand with Dongfang Qi Ze.

"Sorry Miss Rong, my young master have OCD." Assistant Long cleverly reject the handshake for his young master. Rong Wang Qing look embarrassed and pull away her outstretched hand.

"What do you want?" Dongfang Qi Ze didn't give a good face and ask straight. This woman has interrupted his call and he is not really in good mood now.

Actually, when Rong Wang Qing approached just now, he remember her. She is the granddaughter of the Rong family, the Rong family's patriarch is Dongfang Li Ming's close friend. This time, he also brought his granddaughter. But he just don't like people in general, what more Rong Wang Qing is just too noisy in his opinion, she can just party with all the old men. Why need to bother him?

"Long time no see, you remember we graduated from the same university and we met at a charity event last month right? If you are free, do you want to hang out around City Shang tomorrow? We can return in the evening." Rong Wang Qing said. She is a beautiful woman with straight and neat bob hair with tall figure, what more she think that she is not bad in other aspect and she can be considered genius in business too. Her grandfather have the intention to let her and the young head of Dongfang Group to get close with each other, as long as they get to know each other, it is not impossible.

"I don't really remember and I am busy." Dongfang Qi Ze said. Who have the time to randomly remember some people. What more, he have met too many people in his life, why does he need to remember her specifically?

"Don't be like this, our grandfathers have the intention to let us get together. Your grandpa and mine is old friends, they will be happy if we are close. Why don't we get to know each other first?" Rong Wang Qing doesn't want to give up. She is a golden girl that many men want to pursue, she always get what she wanted in this life. This year she is 23 years old, still young to settle down but if she miss someone excellent like Dongfang Qi Ze, she may regret it for life. Why not keep him under her radar first, when she it's time to settle down, she can catch him then.

This is why she finally decided to approach him after all these years, after seeing all the good impression of powerful people towards Dongfang Qi Ze, she feels that she really need to make a move now before she is too late.

She know that Dongfang Qi Ze is not the type of people who easily get close to other, she have seen other women miserably rejected by him too, basically he doesn't have any tender feeling towards the opposite sex. He especially dislike women who try hard to look pretty but have empty head. That's why she wanted to show a different side of her. She thinks bringing out their grandfather relationship to get to know him better is a good move.

"How about this? My grandfather recently gave me a task in the company, I ask Grandpa Dongfang and he told me to seek your guidance instead. There is a good café in City Zhou, I will invite you when you are free." Rong Wang Qing took out her phone and wanted to give it to Dongfang Qi Ze to exchange phone number.

"First, you are delusional if you think that old man get to involve in my personal life. I suggest you throw away this idea and stop approaching me in the future too, it's annoying." Dongfang Qi Ze smirk sarcastically and turn his back before walking away. Well, out of the women who have tried to purse him before, Rong Wang Qing is the first one to use this method of using the grandfather's card and making it seems that she don't have a choice either. This is much more annoying that those women who try to attract his attention by their look, at least they don't pretend like Rong Wang Qing.

"Miss Rong, really sorry. Why don't you leave first. My young master is not in a good mood now." Assistant Long step up when he see that his young master has become much more annoyed. It's better that he settle this before he burst out in anger.

Rong Wang Qing was frozen on the spot with her phone still out. Did she got rejected hard? Well, no wonder people warn her about Dongfang Qi Ze, his way to reject people is so straightforward. She also feels a bit embarrassed. Her grandfather's information is so unreliable, why does she feel that he is more annoyed because she talk about his grandfather? So, Rong Wang Qing can only take a step back before even starting her move.
