Chapter 104: Sightseeing at City Nan

They arrived at the hotel at 11.00 pm and head straight to their room. The children is sleepy so does all of them. After changing into comfortable clothes, wash their face and brush their teeth, they all lie down on the soft bed and turn off the lamp.

Bai Yi Yang sleep with her two sisters and Zhou Zhu Yao sleeps alone on the Queen size bed. They chat briefly before falling asleep.

The next morning, it was Zhou Zhu Yao who woke up at 7.30 am and woke up the siblings. She also made a call to Bai Yi Chen room to wake them up.

"What time is it?" Bai Yi Yang groaned then stretch.

"7.30. I will go wash up first." Zhou Zhu Yao said and went to wash up.

Bai Yi Yang roll around and woke Bai Yi Ling, only Bai Yi Fang is still sleeping like a log now. Bai Yi Yang feel her sleeping posture is funny so she went to take pictures. Bai Yi Ling doesn't want an ugly photo so she hide under the blanket waking Bai Yi Fang from her slumber.

So when Zhou Zhu Yao come out of the bath, the girls are already awake. After that, the three of them went to take a hot bath too before changing. While they were getting ready with their hair, the two boys joined them.

Today, Bai Yi Yang is wearing a denim short pants with white short sleeve polo style crop top. Her hair is also tied into a ponytail with her signature big bow.

"Jie, you are so pretty." Bai Yi Fang who is wearing a sleeveless dress with rainbows stripe said. Her hair is also pulled into two pigtails today.

Bai Yi Ling is also wearing a casual dark blue and white dress today. Basically, they are all wearing comfortable clothes since they are going to walk a lot.

They all head to the hotel restaurant at 8.15 am to have their breakfast. It was situated at the ground floor, the same floor as the lobby. Bai Yi Yang gave the staff their meal tickets and they ate their breakfast. The breakfast is a buffet style but they didn't dare to eat too much because they are going to go to a few places today.

They didn't take long to eat their breakfast and leave at 8.40 am. They are heading to Purple mountain. The plan is still the same, they are going to a certain famous Mausoleum then to ZhongHua Gate.

When they arrived there, there were a lot of people. Zhou Zhu Yao have been here so she said that there is much more people during Sunday.

They all first take a picture in front of the iconic tall entrance, Zhou Zhu Yao become their group picture photographer, but at the same time Bai Yi Yang also took a lot of individual photos. After that, one more must take picture spot is on the stair with the mausoleum as their background. Climbing the 392 steps was a bit difficult but since they are not just anyone, they were able to reach the top to look around.

The children proudly cheers when they arrived at the top. Zhou Zhu Yao jiejie, the weakest of the bunch was tired catching up with the siblings.

"I am old, I am old.." She said while breathing heavily. Bai Yi Yang gave her a water bottle water and let her take a break.

"Zhu Yao jiejie, after this you must listen to me and walk around the village more." Bai Yi Mo said.

"What listen to you, who is like you who can stand the hot sun." Zhou Zhu Yao said.

They look around the top then take some more pictures of the beautiful view before going down and heading to ZhongHua Gate.

As for ZhongHua Gate, the main point will be the history. Actually all attractions place has great history. They can walk on the city gate and see the scenery and also learn some history. Of course the main point if sightseeing is also taking pictures so, it was the same with any places.

"Ah..what a beautiful place.." Bai Yi Mo said.

"Do you even understand any of the explanation?" Bai Yi Ling ask.

"No problem. When I grow up and can understand, I will come again." He said.

'Host, this Bai Yi Mo is annoying but he is also right, I don't understand any of it.' TongTong said. It has been lazing around on Bai Yi Yang shoulder and only know to attract attention from other people.

"So cute! So cute!" People who passed by them will especially girls said that, making TongTong very happy and proud.

'Why don't you want to walk on your own or ride on Bai Yi Chen shoulder?' Bai Yi Yang cannot really move her hand freely.

'Okay ah!' TongTong jump from her shoulder to Bai Yi Chen shoulder. After that, it didn't stop at that, it even spare Bai Yi Fang. But in the end, it's returned to Bai Yi Yang shoulder.

After that, Bai Yi Yang really move comfortably and TongTong didn't even bulge. So they go around the two place with TongTong sitting on her shoulder, giving comments once in a while.

After the morning tour, they went to a famous restaurant in City Nan, they are famous for their duck dishes. They arrived slightly earlier before the lunch hour so they immediately got a seat.

Bai Yi Yang make the order. Duck blood and vermicelli soup and their famous salted duck. It was delicious especially the salted duck, but the steaming hot soup make them sweat a bit.

After a fulfilling lunch, they went to buy some ice cream and cross the famous City Nan Yangtze river bridge. There is nothing much to it, it's only looking at the bridge from afar and taking pictures.

So after that, they head to the Confucius Temple. It is one of the biggest Confucius Temple in their country. As usual they take pictures and walk around to see. They also took picture in front of the big statue as a group.

Bai Yi Fang really like taking pictures, when Bai Yi Yang ask her to pose, she will pose. TongTong was dragged by her to take a lot of pictures too.

'I am tired of taking pictures..' TongTong sigh.

Last for the day is QinHuai River. This is what Bai Yi Yang anticipate the most. She told her siblings that they are going to have a boat ride along the QingHuai River, the view will be especially beautiful.

They are taking their time to catch a boat ride because they are aiming for the beautiful night view. They can go straight to the dock from this temple but before that they went to buy some sweet drinks to replenish their sugar. When it is 5.30 pm, they head to the dock.

There are a few people waiting in line in front so by the time it is their turn, the view will be the best. They reached their turn at 6.05 pm. Bai Yi Yang paid the fee for them, a total of 300 yuan. The tour will be about 50 minutes long along the river. Since there are 6 of them, well, Bai Yi Yang paid the price for 6 person so they can have the boat by themselves.

This type of boat has beautiful lights on them, there are lanterns hung on the boat and it was especially beautiful. The boat peddler will tell them if they passed through some special area or building. Bai Yi Yang took a lot of pictures, by the time they are returning, it has turned dark and the lights become more clear, the view really become more beautiful at night.

"It's so nice…" Her siblings exclaimed as they look outside the windows. They even wave at the people on land when they passed by. They had fun doing this since a lot of people actually wave back too.

Their tour ended at 7.00 pm and they thanks the peddler before leaving. There is much more people now, seems like people really prefer doing evening tour even though they are more expensive. They are lucky because they can see the view clearly while the sun is out and also after it gets dark. This boat ride become a hot topic between them, they still talked about it even when they are now inside the car heading to a night market.

They arrived at a bustling night market at 7.38 pm, just the right time to find something to eat. Each of them decided to hold onto one child, Bai Yi Yang hold Bai Yi Ling, Zhou Zhu Yao hold Bai Yi Mo and Bai Yi Chen hold onto Bai Yi Fang. They also warn each other to be careful with their bags. Only after that they enter the night market.

The first food they found is Jianbing or Chinese crepe. This is difficult to made at home so Bai Yi Yang bought two for them to try. The essence of night market is snacking on the spot, they stand at the side of the stall and try they.

"En, taste good!" Bai Yi Fang exclaimed after biting onto it. The people passing by saw this and stops by the stall to also have a try, Bai Yi Fang is eating with gusto, people gain appetite after seeing her eat.

After they finished with that, they move on and bought some Chinese sesame balls to eat while walking around, the food disappeared quickly in their stomach.

That's when they found a stinky tofu stall. Bai Yi Yang loves stinky tofu but the small kids doesn't like the smell. Bai Yi Yang laugh and only bought a small size cup. Bai Yi Yang let Bai Yi Chen and Zhou Zhu Yao taste it, both of them quite like it. Bai Yi Mo is also curious so he bravely took a bite and he loves it. They ends up buying another cup and finished it on the spot.

After that, they found a famous stall selling donkey meat sandwich, maybe because this place is the biggest night market in this city so this rarely found food is also sold here. Bai Yi Yang bought three sandwiches and they all have a taste. It was meat, there weren't much different with other meat so the children quite enjoyed it. Only after Bai Yi Ling show them donkey picture did they get shocked.

"Did we just eat a horse?" Bai Yi Mo asked.

"Not horse, donkey." Bai Yi Yang answer with a chuckle.

"They look similar. Ahh..I must tell this to my friends." Bai Yi Mo said.

After that, they tasted a few different type of kebabs and their last course was deep fried scallion pancake.

"Jiejie made this one better but this is not bad." Bai Yi Mo comment.

"The two of you will become food critique at this rate." Zhou Zhu Yao said. She haven't eaten a lot of Bai Yi Yang food so she found this food delicious.

Before exiting the night market, on the side is people selling fruit tanghulu so they bought some to satisfy the children curiosity towards the colourful fruit coated with sugar.

They finally returned to the car at 8.42 pm. Their next destination will be the shopping mall to watch movie. Their ticket is at 9.25 pm and the movie will last for 1 hour 45 minutes. Actually Bai Yi Yang is not confident that her siblings will be able to sit through the movie. They walk around all day feeling tired, but it's fine, as long as they get to experience the movie theatre.

When they arrived, Bai Yi Yang went to buy popcorn and soft drinks before entering. As usual, when it comes to new place, the children will be excited. Bai Yi Yang took picture of them outside the theatre using her phone, she leave her camera in the car because it isn't allowed to bring camera in.

The movie that they are watching is an English adventure movie that has been dubbed. The one who is also in the theatre are all young people with their parents. There are a lot of interesting and funny scenes in the movies. Bai Yi Yang and her younger siblings all watch with interest, it was Bai Yi Chen and Zhou Zhu Yao who fall asleep.

Bai Yi Yang didn't disturb the two of them. They stay until the end and the children also didn't fall asleep. When the lights was turned on, the two people finally woke up.

"It's finished?? I fall asleep in the middle.." Zhou Zhu Yao said.

"Yes. But I can tell you the story." Bai Yi Mo then retell the story while they return to the car.

The hotel they are staying in is only 5-10 minutes away from the shopping mall, so they arrived by 11.30 pm. Today was a long day, after cleaning up they all immediately fall asleep feeling tired but satisfied with the whole day tour.
