Chapter 8 A Woman Who Has Been in Prison

Albert rushed in and shouted angrily.

He pushed Caroline away with one hand and noticed that Regina's white bandage was oozing blood.

Her lips were all chewed and her face was pallid. Her brow was drenched in sweat beading.

"Are you alright? Later, I'll have someone re-bandage it for you."

Albert's eyes blazed with sadness, and he touched the red button next to him.

"Who the hell are you? Why are you treating a patient like this?"

He turned to face Caroline and inquired. His tone seemed detached, despite his gentle brows.

Caroline looked slightly stiff and smiled awkwardly.

"Of course, I'm a member of her family. I merely wanted to see if her arm was wrapped."

"Don't be a moron. I have the authority to evict you simply because you are currently mistreating my patients. Please go as soon as possible."

His tone was irresistible.

"How dare you speak to me like that?" Caroline's attitude was concerned, and her eyes were filled with rage.
