The Surprise.

I did as Skyler said. He set the table and went to open the door.

(Is this some kind of a joke?)

He opened the door,

Someone came in and immediately took Skyler in a hug.

I couldn't see the person's face, though I could tell that it was a guy.

Skyler hugged him back.

"You look great Skyler!" the guy said as he lifted his hand and touched the back of Skyler's neck, "Formal suits you so well I can hardly wait to take these off."

Skyler chuckled as he touched his hand.

(What is happening here?)

They both were clearly flirting with each other.

"I brought dinner with me, should we eat that before or should I just eat you up first," he said, his hand going lower from Skyler's back towards his leg.

(What the fuck? That's so cringy.)

"I would love that but I think we should eat the food first it'll get cold" Skyler replied in a sweet voice. "I'll set up the table, you should take a seat,"

The guy walked up and sat on the dining table chair.

My eyes widened when I saw him sitting down. He was in my full view sitting on the chair.

He was that blond guy from that day before.

(What kind of a sick joke is Skyler playing with me?)

I had an urge to just get up and walk out. But I decided to wait until the guy went away.

As much as I hated the idea of watching these two being all "lovey-dovey" with each other, I didn't want to embarrass the guy like this.

This was the worst decision of my life.

Skyler got back with candlelight, pasta, and a bottle of red wine. It was obvious that it was a dinner date.

While I was sitting in a congested, dusty, rough place, these two were having a lavish, romantic dinner.

Instead of feeling heartbroken or anything at that moment, the only feeling I had toward Skyler was anger and rage.

(To have feelings for a guy like him...I must be sick out of my mind)

"You look so good under the candlelight, Skyler." The guy said while stuffing his face with pasta.

"hmm I can say the same thing about you, Noah", Skyler replied giving him the sweetest smile.

(What was he thinking bringing me here...)

"You're enjoying the food, don't you want to enjoy something else too?" Skyler said as he gently took the guy's right hand and crossed his fingers with the guy.

"Your touch feels nice," the guy said grinning.

"hmm, you should see this now Alex," Skyler said as he gently rubbed the guy's hand.

(Did he just call him Alex?)

My eyes widened as I looked at them.

"Alex?", Noah said confused, "I think you misspoke the name there?"

Skyler smiled. "I knew you were I'll mannered but it's funny knowing you're also deaf".

Skyler tightened his grip as he said this.

(What the heck is happening!?).

"OW!! What are you doing?! It hurts!" the guy said as Skyler's grip got tighter.

Skyler looked in my direction, still smiling. Our eyes met and a cold sweat ran down my spine.

"Stop it, Skyler! My fingers will break" the guy said preaching in pain.

Skyler got up with the guy's hand still in his tight grip. In a quick move, he turned around and broke his arm.

(HE JUST BROKE HIS ARM!?)

The guy screamed in pain. He tried to move but Skyler was not letting go of his hand.

Skyler then took the wine bottle which was placed on the table and smashed it on Noah's head, knocking him unconscious.

All this happened so quickly. I could not do anything but freeze in fear.

Skyler panted as he let go of Noah's hand and flicked his hair.

(That guy…that guy's not Skyler.)

The headline from the previous days came ringing in my head.

[Their right hand was broken and they all had several head injuries.]

(He's the serial killer.)

He cleaned his sweat and looked straight at me through that little gap. Our eyes met.

"Told you you'll meet him soon. Look! he was the reason you were avoiding me now he's gone!"

I remember what he said that day when we went out, that I'll be able to meet Noah soon but never in a million years had I ever thought that this would be the way!

Everything that happened right now came to my mind ringing a bell.

(That guy! That guy can't possibly be dead right now, I have to wake him up!)

I got up and ran towards that guy pushing Skyler away and making him fall to the ground.

"WAKE UP! WAKE UP OR YOU'LL DIE HURRY!" I screamed and Shook the unconscious body of the guy hoping he would wake up.

"Alex... you should be happy I did a good thing," Skyler said getting up and brushing his clothes with his hand.

(Shit! I can care less about that guy right now I need to get out of here!)

I left the guy and ran towards the exit and tried to open the door. But it wouldn't open.

I looked for a lock and saw the keylock.

"FUCK IT HAS A KEYLOCK INSIDE!"

Of course, I didn't know the pass... I was trapped in there.

I tried to break the door open, kicking it viciously again and again.

"Alex, can you stop damaging my door.", Skyler said sweetly from the living room.

(Shit shit shit he's going to kill me.)

I thought as I tried my best to break the door open.

"Stop it! I said." Skyler said as he stepped closer to where I was.

"STAY AWAY FROM ME YOU PSYCHO!", I screamed as I looked for something to use as a weapon but there was nothing near that door.

"But she'll get disappointed if I do that"

"STAY AWAY I SAID! I WON'T TELL ANYONE JUST LET ME GO!" I screamed as I turned around to break the door open again.

It was a metal door. It was hopeless trying to break it open but I could not just stop trying and die. There was nothing next to me that I could use as a weapon. And seeing how he just broke that guy's arm like that, it was obvious that he was way stronger than me.

Eventually, Skyler caught up behind me.

"SHIT! SHIT! SHIT!!!"

*THUD*

Something hard hit my head and everything started to become blurred. I was going unconscious!

"No...no…I can't...I'll die."

"Good night, Alex."

I could hear Skyler say these words as I fell fully unconscious.
