Chapter 11: Awakening Part 1

The beetle was in panic! he tried to shook the Beast off but It stubornly remained latched. As I watched the scene in awe, the Black Beast opened It frightful jaws and crunched at the Beetle's neck.

The strength of that bite wasn't weak at all. The teeth sinked deeply at the Beetle's delicate meat, It even managed to crack the sheel that was protecting his soft neck.

Red blood started to escape from the wound as the beetle moved desperately in order to free himself. The Black Beast also used It's body and claws to damage the Beetle's wings, making him lose the ability to fly!

Each of It's steps would be silent If It wasn't for the blood on the floor... It simply walked, and when It finally left the pool of blood, it's claws that were now marked with the crimson liquid, leaved bloody footprints for me to contemplate.

I also walked backwards while keeping my gaze at the Black creature, I staggered sometimes, as I also felt the sour taste of regret...

The Black Beast was currently delighted. Not only It managed to dispose of the intruder from It's territory without suffering heavy injuries, but It also has finally cornered the damned weakling worm that took of It's right eye.

The Black Beast was feeling slight danger, but It quickly ignored It since It was only a small bug, as long as It's careful the tiny bug wouldn't be able to harm it.

But when the Black Beast was feeling distracted, the cyan white Spider suddenly stopped It's unstopable trembling... Only to almost Instantly twist It's Head in order to look at the Black Beast directly!

The Beast jumped backwards while also staring back at the Spider. They can't be blamed though, since It was so sudden, the Black Beast took a fright. And the Beast also felt that this bug changed It's demeanor way too quickly, before It was scared... cowering in fear from It's mere presence, but Right now, It is looking at It with dead eyes... Like a true Insect, without fear, without anger, with literally nothing. It was blank. This type of eyes made the Black Beast feel dread.

There was also a long cyan tongue Right at the center, that was dripping with drow and pieces of the Black beast's Right eye...

Under the attentive look of the Black Beast, that Monster Spider twisted itself like one of those monsters from terror zombie movies, It was absolutely terrifying. And then...

SCREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

The Spider roared with a terrifying scream that made the Black Beast almost deaf, ringing sounds didn't leave It's ears, making the Black Beast disoriented.

It alarmly gazed at the Spider that was also staring at it. Right now, It looked completely different from before, It's demeanor, It's aura... It wasn't from a scared Human anymore, It was from a true apex predator!

The cyan white spider crouched slightly, lowering It's mantis-like arms in order to enter the most suitable stance, narrowing It's four eyes slightly. It's terrifying maw was dripping with drow while It's cyan coloured antennae twitched ocasionally, Just like a insect. And It's harpoon tongue was also pointed at the Black Beast.

As the Black Beast was the target of the spider's narrowed gaze, the Beast lifted It's upper lip, showing It's gum and bloody teeth while making an intimidating growling...
