Developing new breathing techniques was difficult; it was not a skill that anybody would have.
Fortunately for him, Inosuke was not your average person; he was genuinely extraordinary in every way!
He witnessed Tanjiro utilizing the Water Breathing Style along the way, which gave him a greater grasp of how Breathing Techniques functioned!
Beast Breathing was closely related to Mist Breathing and was born out of Wind Breathing, which was derived from the Sun's breath. The Breath of the Sun was thought to be the genesis of all breathing practices.
This Breathing Technique was highly powerful, serving as a secret weapon for Tanjiro, who had no idea of its true purpose or origin for now, viewing it as merely a fire-themed, bonfire dance performed to honor some fire god.
However, the Breath of the Sun's strength, like Yoriichi Tsugikuni's, was relative and overblown. Despite popular, Chinese fanfiction belief, he was not capable of swinging his swords 1500 times in a single second... It was close, but not quite; what he possessed was the ability to kill 1200 fragments of Muzan flesh that had dispersed before Muzan could run away with the rest of them.
The Tsugikuni's younger brother was undoubtedly the strongest being to have ever existed in this world, but he was no match for a Super Kage Level Ninja from the Naruto World.
Even with his Observation Haki-like perception skill, it was unclear whether he was capable of competing with any peak Kage Level. Placing him in the Kage Tier was probably too much of a praise already.
Aside from his Kage level speed, the rest of his abilities were not even certain to be Elite Jonin tier; he was at most a Jonin in raw power!
This was why Inosuke always felt that Demon Slayer's universe was one of the weakest in the popular Shōnen category!
It was really weak!
As a result, Inosuke didn't care if he was employing the so-called most powerful Breathing Technique or not; in fact, given his current state of existence, it didn't matter at all.
Anyone who read the manga would know that it was not the Breath of the Sun that caused Muzan's issues the first time he encountered Yoriichi! His swift defeat was due to a lack of speed, ability, and power!
The Breath of the Sun was trash! It was really trash!
It had never killed Muzan! Not even at the end of the manga!
What killed Muzan was the Sun itself! Not some Breathing Technique!
Yoriichi could have killed Muzan if he hadn't wasted time talking rubbish with him, but it wasn't because his Breathing Technique was powerful; it was because he was too dominant.
He was born to murder Muzan, literally. He was born as a result of some deity's decision to correct Muzan's existence. Muzan's dismal and brutal existence was deemed a dangerous mistake that the world must correct and erase.
As thus, Yoriichi's powers were far beyond normal from birth to infancy, and when he grew older, he could have killed Muzan with any Breathing Technique.
Unfortunately, he lacked the ruthlessness of a man on a purpose. He was not a man on a mission at all.
After creating a prototype Breath, Inosuke rose up and placed his hands on his swords. He slowly but steadily sucked air into his lungs, filling them to capacity.
He then opened his eyes seriously and aggressively, his homicidal gaze fixed on the tree trunk not far in front of him.
Reciting 'Beast Breathing! Form 1!' in his heart, he swiftly and inconspicuously moved, resembling a hunting beast, with eerie vapor, puffs of air coming out from his mouth. 'Chaotic Boar On The Loose!'
Within the mist, Inosuke appeared to vanish momentarily before reappearing. The atmosphere around him felt denser, almost as if his body was expanding and gaining weight simultaneously.
As if a demonic being, some ghost, Inosuke popped up suddenly in front of the tree, and his eyes changed to a bright, blood-red color.
All of a sudden, he swung his two sharp-toothed swords in reverse, nearly propelling them into the air! Behind him loomed the huge, ghostly shape of an animal. A boar. This pig had a menacing and vicious but lofty and comfy, nice vibe to it; its fleshy, lengthened snout was loaded with stinging, piercing tusks.
It was almost as if the massive pig was seeking retribution, penetrating and chopping the tree into shreds, making a noise Inosuke recognized right away—a sound reminiscent of his family's battle cries!
When the tree branches, leaves, and trunk fragments fell to the ground, Inosuke's eyes gradually reverted to their original color, and the phantom form behind him vanished.
Inosuke's attack was not only fierce but surprisingly quiet. No sound was heard as the mist surrounding the attack area dissipated completely! The trunk dropped to the ground without making a sound! The mist had created a hush over the area!
Inosuke's breathing technique was truly exceptional!
There was a noticeable difference in Inosuke's character from the anime.
'I considered calling this beginner's move Silent Demonic Charge of the Boar Overlord, but the name was too trashy. I've never liked long names.'
Inosuke reflected on the results with delight, realizing that he was a genius.
'I suppose new breathing techniques like Love Breathing can be a reflection of one's wishes, life experiences, and personality - this is the first move I came up with... There is both obvious and non-obvious meaning. Makes me wonder…'
Inosuke put his swords on his belt and looked in a direction, noting that Tanjiro was still sleeping and unaware of the ruckus, which there was none of.
'Moreover, this Breathing Technique turns out to be considerably different from basic Beast Breathing... It seems as though there is a tinge of cloudiness involved... I assumed it was just noticeable breath as in the anime, but this mist was pretty noticeable even as I began to breathe in without fully finding my path.'
'I guess I'll have to find out about that later.'
Inosuke nodded to himself and stopped allowing his mind to stray off. He looked beyond the horizon and spotted the first rays of sunlight peeking through the morning sky.
After another glance at Tanjiro, he decided to continue with his training.
During the day, demons and demon slayers would naturally and secretly come to an agreement. A truce. One group was terrified of the sun, while the other needed to eat and sleep. Inosuke believed he could follow down demons in daylight and uncover their hiding places, but he saw no value in doing so because it didn't benefit him.
He saw this universe as a useful starting point for his life in the Multiverse, thus he didn't want to do anything unnecessary.
As he resumed his workout, he failed to notice a strange, astonishing situation occurring in a nearby part of the forest, where bamboo shoots grew at various heights.
