Just a Normal Day

'Is it already morning?' I looked at the time and saw that it had already become 6 am.

"Another day not sleeping... Sigh" after taking a sigh, I lamented the fact that I had spent one more day not sleeping. It was about this one game, an MMORPG that was quite popular. However, he wasn't to be blamed. They were just so addicting after all.

So still unable to wake up from my sleepy state, I said to myself -

"School's going to start, I should get ready"

- before starting to get ready for school.

I took out the uniform from my drawer and put it on. It was the typical uniform designed for high school students. Overall black color with pants and the jacket. Inside the jacket was a formal white shirt without any ties upon it.

After that, I went to the bathroom to do my daily routine of washing my face and brushing my teeth.

As I looked at the mirror, so did the person reflected on the mirror.

It was the face of an average teenager's face. He had black eyes and black hair along with quite a pale skin. There was nothing special on his face except for the pair of dark eyebags underneath his eyes.

However, I paid no attention to his face as I started brushing my teeth. Put the toothpaste on the toothbrush, brush my teeth, rinse my mouth, clean them, and put them back to their position.

After I had brushed my teeth, I washed my face with cold water and felt my cells waking up from the cold. Together with the smell of toothpaste in his mouth, it finally woke me up from my sleepy state.

His routine was done. The only thing left was to pick up his keys and leave the apartment.

He did just according to the plan except that he picked up a black watch before leaving the apartment.

"You also haven't slept today either, Kirt? I could see your exhausted face" as Kirt was sitting at his table, a student from the sides asked him.

The guy could be considered a little bit plump, with some excess fat but not too much. He was wearing black glasses and couldn't be said to be attractive. Just a normal guy in the background.

He was Jade, a student who sat next to him and also a friend.

On his watch was the number 2 which could also be seen on Kirt's watch.

"Yeah, you also look exhausted. You should hide that face, or else, you know she won't be kind on us" I replied back.

"Yeah yeah, I know. But do you remember we will be having a guest teacher today? It says the person is sent from the government to test our fundamentals"

"I remember"

That ended the conversation between Jade and me.

After our conversation was the start of today's class, which was the history class.

The bell rang, and so did two people come in along with it. A man and a woman.

One was our homeroom teacher, Miss Caloti. He didn't know about the other person but it was obvious he was the guest teacher they were talking about.

"Everyone, greet Mr. Sergios. He is the guest teacher that was going to come today" the woman, Caloti said to the class.

At this, everyone did as she told and greeted the guest teacher while standing.

"Hello students. I am Sergios, a 2nd rate government official and also the guest teacher that will be coming to teach you about the history of the world today."

The guest teacher introduced himself before continuing on.

"Now then, class. I'll summarize the history of the world first."

With that, the homeroom teacher Caloti left and the first lesson of the day also started.

"Hey, didn't it say he was going to test out fundamentals? Why is he summarizing history then?" Jade whispered to him.

"I don't know. You should stop now or we might get caught" I whispered back.

While we were talking, the lesson had already started.
