The next morning, Alexis woke up very early. He wore his training outfit and went to the park where he found Omari and Ayanfe having a little bit of a contest. Ayanfe was in goal and Omari was about to take a shot from a considerable distance away from the goal post.
"I'll bet you ten pounds that you won't make that shot," Ayanfe shouted.
Omari had a smile on his face. He turned to Alexis, who was now a few steps away from him. "He owes me about a thousand pounds now."
"He's lying to you," Ayanfe said. "It's nine hundred and fifty. I bought you lunch yesterday."
"And he's unbelievably cheap," Omari muttered with a smile on his face. "Watch as I make it nine hundred and sixty pounds."
