Wedding day

Jenny came in a few minutes later and told her its shower time.

"Ha. Ha. Funny, Jenny. I can do it alone." Lina tells her assistant.

"Okay, but we're in a tight schedule, it is your wedding day so there's a lot to do. We leave in an hour.

"I'll go back to the hotel first to get ready and go straight to the old house later." Ki Ha informed her and waved. Ki Ha's security is also from John and Sam's company so they all know where to bring him already. Jenny left as well which left her alone. She saw her laptop and remembered Baddy.

She quickly opened it and logged in.

goody_dumpling_xo : sorry, sweetie pie, I woke up late

bad_dumpling_xx: stop calling me that! I haven't slept yet waiting for you

goody_dumpling_xo: normal people sleep at night cutie. What do you want to know?

bad_dumpling_xx: everything!

Lina then went on to tell Baddy the story she just told Ki Ha but more concise.

Lina looked at the time and saw that she's only got 20 minutes to get ready so she immediately uploaded the app Baddy sent her and rushed into the shower. In there, what Baddy told kept running through her mind. But she didn't have the time to think harder over it because Jenny knocked on the door asking her to hurry up.

She hurried through the rest of her usual routine and went out dressed in a pale yellow sun dress and wet hair. She took the blanket she used yesterday to wrap around herself from the mountain house and hurried into the car.

As the car reached the gate of their destination, Lina looked out of the window. It's Lina's first time to see the Wu's family home. It's a very expansive plot and right in the middle of it is a very classical mansion, most of it was hidden by the high gates and wall fence all over. It's very well maintained including the grounds. They were driven straight into the front door and was welcomed by Grandma Sophia.

"Hello Lina. Sorry, nobody is around, they're all at the back taking care of the something." She said as she engulfed her in a hug.

"It's okay." She said as she followed her, guiding her upstairs.

"Here's Henry room, this is where you will get ready. All your things are already arranged in here."

Grandma Sophia opened the door to Henry's room.

"Where is he getting ready then?"

"He just took his clothes for tonight to a guest room." She replied as they entered the room.

Lina did a quick look around. " It's very manly." She observed.

"Yes, I'm sure you can change that. I'll leave you to it then. I'll see you at the wedding." Grandma Sophia left with a smile.

Jenny started getting busy with a couple of staff from the Wu household, preparing her clothes and organizing her make up while Lina went towards the window. The window looks out towards the back of the house where its buzzing with activities. There is a super long table being set up, parallel that is a small podium area filled with fresh flowers. The whole place will be lit by fairy lights it seems.

There was a knock on the door, Lina turned around to see Henry peek through the door. He Looked towards Jenny who quickly said, "I forgot something in the car. I'll be right back" and quietly moved out of the door taking the staff with her.

"Hi." She awkwardly greeted him as he closed the door behind him.

"Hi yourself." He said with a breath-taking smile, which disappeared and replaced with a worried look as he asked, "Did you come here dressed in that? Just that? You didn't even dry your hair."

"Well, I was wrapped in a blanket and I went from door to car to the door again." She said as she pointed to the blanket now placed in a nearby chair.

Closer now, standing in front of her, Henry reached out to tuck her hair behind her ear. "Don't catch a cold now."

"I won't. Did you forget something?"

"Yes, this." Henry hands her a rectangle, hefty, black box with a gold inscription on top "Catalina Wu".

With shaking hands, she opened the box and inside is an earring set and necklace that perfectly matches her engagement ring yet different at the same time. The earring has the same yellow diamond teardrop dangling from it and the necklace has tiny diamonds all over the chain and in the middle is the same teardrop yellow diamond, only bigger.

"Wear this later." Henry whispered as she looks at her wedding gift.

"I didn't get you anything." She guiltily admitted.

"I'll be the guy at the end of the aisle. Find me and that's the best gift you can ever give me for tonight." Henry said as he kissed her hand, before he left the room. Lina was left speechless, as usual, and was frozen on the spot until Jenny came in again and squealed when she saw the box she was holding.

" Let's get ready." She said bravely as they went through the motions.
