India: I became the First PM of India

India made many bad decisions in the early years of Independence. Getting soft on Pakistan, going to UN for Kashmir, adopting Licence Raj, Indo-China war, rejecting UN seat, etc. So what if, instead of Nehru-led Congress, a party under Siddharth Dutt, a reincarnator, came in power? How would the course of history change? Read to find out. To support me, UPI me at: fanficworld0707@ibl

Bharat Jodo: Tamil Nadu

Tamil Nadu is the second state that Satyankar is visiting under Bharat Jodo mission.

Out of the 214 seats of legislative assembly, BJS achieved 121, followed by INC at 78. Despite opposing Dravidain ideology.

This made it clear that people wanted to be united, but with respect of their language. The Dravidain ideology probably wouldn't have become popular if Congress didn't try to force Hindi in the first place.

It's not like they aren't willing to learn another language. But, if they will need to learn another language and others wouldn't, they wouldn't like it, of course.

"Why don't you all learn Tamil instead?"

That's the argument. That's why, every region learning a second language altogether was the obvious, and better choice. For a country rising from ruins, people are willing to give sacrifices for a better future.

Today, Satyankar is in Tamil Nadu for two things.

First is the establishment of International Kabaddi Authority(IKA) in Chennai, since Kabaddi originated in Tamil Nadu.

And the second is to lay the foundations for Ramanujan Infinity Institute of Astronomy and Computing (RIIAC) in Ramanujan's birthplace, Erode.

For the future, computers and related things like chips wil be the defining factor of tertiary sector growth. The institute will be responsible for researching on how to create computers, chips, and silicon wafers for solar panels. And making the machines for manufacturing as well.

Satyankar looked over the development of Tamil Nadu, its finances and everything.

"The wheat production has increased by 1.8 times compared to last year huh. Good job."

India actually didn't need foreign super high yield species of wheat and rice. The indigenous cross-breed species may not yield as much as American ones, but they aren't suitable for India in the long term.

Even with the surplus in original timeline, almost 40% of the food produced every year was wasted every year due to insufficient cold storages, granaries and transport logistics. Slightly less yield, and more diverse and expansive green revolution will be enough instead of concentration near the Punjab-Haryana region, which doesn't have enough water and rainfall to sustain rice.

Just like for milk cooperatives were established in every state, they were also established for grains and pulses. The middlemen must be reduced as much as possible.

After that, inspection of villages on the path from Chennai to Erode happened along the way. The bio-fuel plants were actually already installed and fully functional in 80% villages.

"Krishna, just because I am doing inspection along this path this time doesn't mean I wouldn't choose a different path the next time."

"O-of course."

Krishnaswami, the CM of Tamil Nadu, became nervous, as if he was caught.

"Hahaha! No need to be nervous. You are doing a good job. You have already done so much so fast. Keep up the good work. Though, keep better care of finances. Don't let debt cross more than 30% of the GDP right now. The debt is already reaching 25%."

"Yes, I will be careful."

"Look, we all want to develop country as fast as possible. But the development shouldn't become a burden for the next generations. If we go too fast, a bubble may form, and it may burst."

Japan is the best example of bubble bursts, though USA did have a huge hand in causing it. India doesn't want to have lost decades.

The union debt has risen to approximately 42% of the GDP according to this year's data. The government spending will decrease this year to keep the debt low.

While most of the developed countries had high debt upto even 100%, and higher, the 'developed' title is misleading. If people can't afford food, and housing, the country doesn't deserve to be called 'developed'. The boomers in developed countries enjoyed great life at the cost of next generation having harsh and poorer life.

Boomers dying doesn't mean that their debt will disappear afterall. Even in 2050, India shouldn't suffer a population crisis and the need for huge number of immigrants who will cause trouble to replace the native population because of less workers.

It's better to have a balanced growth now instead of rapid, to keep having balanced growth for years to come.

At night, the entourage slept in a school that will start this academic year.

"PM ji, we can't find sufficient teachers. Only 400 out of 4,500 posts for middle and high school teachers are filled right now. We are somehow managing for one primary teacher per large village by having taught people to do basic maths and tamil alphabet. But even they aren't that proficient."

"Hmm. Don't worry. I will do something about it from the next budget. We have to get some money for projectors..."

The insufficiency of teachers is a very huge problem. The solution Satyankar has thought of is to create a network so that very less good teachers can provide good education to huge population of India. Just like YouTube.

But the problem is projectors and electricity costs. This will save a huge chunk of salaries by not having to hire more teachers, who are very less in supply. But, this will require possibly more money to bring projectors and electricity to each and every village too.

Well, connecting every part of India is a goal anyway, so why not just do it.

Not everything will be finished in one, or even five years.

The budget will have to cut various unnecessary expenditures. Like benefits of politicians and other government employees. And the horrendous pension system of the politicians.

People of Satyankar's own party will make a huge fuss about it.
