CHAPTER 34: I'LL TAKE THAT AS A YES

Jaden pulled out of the kiss still reveling on the taste of her innocent lips and the shocked look on her face,he smirked and leaned closer upon seeing her face immediately turn into a peach.

"Your cheeks are red" he said teasingly " why are your cheeks red "

"Huh" Alicia's eyes widened before both of her hands went to her cheeks and covered them,that was her body betraying her.

Smirking, Jaden moved closer to her and wiped her lower lip with his thumb,another act of his that sent cold waves into Alicia's skin,how could the quiet guy of a while ago suddenly switch from prim and proper to pervert and naughty,was this the other side of him? And the worst thing about it all was that she was unable to do anything about it,she couldn't even react as her fragile body was already acting like a leaf in the wind,she was so sure if it were another guy,she could have slapped him by now but with Jaden she couldn't do anything, basically because no matter how much she tried to hide it,she was attracted to him,his looks and all,plus the things she'd heard of him about girls didn't seem to be bad but then his perverty actions towards her was making her rethink if this was really the same Jaden Kai whom everyone confessed of being unattracted to girls.

Alicia was suddenly pulled out of her thoughts when she heard him speak.

"So from today, we're officially in a relationship" he stated, leaving no room for refusal or argument.

Alicia was once again stunned at his statement,things were fucking moving so fast,she opened her mouth to say something but she was suddenly silenced when she saw Jaden's eyes dim in a very dark and unpleased way as he moved his face closer giving her a bone piercing stare but then,the chilly look didn't even last for a second before it disappeared,it was as though he suddenly remembered who she was and he was quick to repair his face.

Alicia bit her lips as she innocently stared at him,a while ago,he was smirking and now he looked like he was gonna eat her alive if she said a word hence she could only shut her mouth and look at him with innocent wide eyes.

Hearing no words from her,his grey eyes softened and a sexy smirk made it's way to his lips. " I'll take that as a yes" he said before he retreated and leaned back on his seat but his hands still holding that of Alicia's.

As soon as his eyes were back on the road, Alicia released her breath in which she didn't know she had been holding, in just under 5 minutes she had experienced three sides of this handsome devil and in all of these sides,she prayed she never again saw that seemingly dark side of him that looked like he was about to turn into a vampire, surely his rage was gonna be very deadly .

Jaden started the car and moved straight to Alicia's hostel direction with a slow pace and at this point,his face had gone back to his normal stoic expression as though nothing had happened but Alicia was still in a a state of shock and the fact that he was acting as though nothing had just happened shocked her even more so

But then, amidst the confusion and suddenness of everything, Alicia felt a mix of excitement,unbelief and intrigue course through her entire body,she felt butterflies in her stomach and she knew it was because of that kiss they had shared and it felt so because it was her first ever kiss and never did she expect a guy like Jaden Kai to taste so sweet,warm and manly at the same time,he somehow looked too cold and ruthless to taste that good and also his out of the world masculine scent and his cologne only made the kiss even more intoxicating

He was such a cold and aloof personality but literally everything about him was warm,his body,his touch and his lips and.... Hold on a moment....., ' was he really serious when he said they were now officially in a relationship?!!! ' Alicia thought as she suddenly remembered his statement that left her bewilded, normally boys would ask girls on a date and wait for a reply but his was different,she either had to agree or agree,there was no way round it.

Alicia's heart raced at the thought of really being his girlfriend,Jaden Kai's girlfriend!!!!,this was her first time in a relationship and that too with a popular rich figure on campus.

' Wouldn't she be drawing attention to herself that way ' she thought,God she was nervous and excited too,she had never had the chance to be in a relationship in the past not because she didn't want to but because she was always indoors and would never even get any chance to spend with her lover and back when she was in highschool,she didn't really buy the idea of dating anyone from her school and hence she could only turn them all down.

Alicia looked down when she felt his hands move on her,he had three expensive looking rings on three fingers and his left hand on the steering was gloved as though he was concealing all his tats.

Her eyes travelled to his calm face which was still fixed on the road,but then, Alicia's mind suddenly snapped back to the kiss and it dawned on her that that was actually her first kiss!!! taken away without her permission. On the realization of that, Alicia's brow furrowed and she snapped at him .

"What was that huh, taking a kiss without permission,Is that how you go around stealing kisses from girls" she questioned feigning anger.

Jaden smoothly swerved right with a smirk playing on his lips,it was as though he had been expecting that question.

His demeanor was cool and collected as he turned to face her " Nope,just you sweetheart " he answered bringing her hand up to his lips and placing a soft kiss on it " but just so you know, I've never heard of the word ' permission ' till you said it today " he intoned in a low and steady voice,his lips still curved into a light smirk as he effortlessly one handed the steering " but for you,I'll make sure to ask next time" he added with a now serious face,how his moods changed so fast like a super power
