CHAPTER 25: JK FOR SHORT

Nevertheless, Alicia continued eating and even quickened her pace so she could finally run away from this boy's stares as the food right now was the only thing keeping them here.

Minutes later, Alicia didn't know how but she finally finished her meal leaving just little on her plate as courtesy demanded,she was busy pouring herself a glass of water when the waiter appeared and finally broke the spell that had been holding Jaden's eyes to Alicia all the while,he could swear that he hadn't blinked for over three minutes.

The waiter approached them and Jaden handed her a sheet of paper in which he had written some things.

The young lady waiter took it and impatiently opened it hoping it was a love letter or a note for her but sadly,it was a list,a provision list that she had to get for them from the supermarket on the next floor.

The young lady looking disappointed, nodded her head and left to carry out the job,she then arrived 7 minutes later with two big shopping bags with the supermarket Logo on them.

Placing the bags close to him,she brought along with her a machine and Jaden brought out a black card causing the waiter's heart to start breathing fast,such guys with such rare black cards were known to be stinkily rich and always gave out heavy tips of which she was right because as soon as the total estimate was made, Jaden asked her to make it a round figure thereby giving her a tip of about 680 dollars that left the waiter overjoyed,she'd always prayed to serve such customers.

As soon as they were done,the waiter took the bags and followed them outside while Alicia's mind was busy reminiscing on the amount of tip he had just given that waiter alongside with his already massive bill,and 'who were these plenty provisions for' she thought.

Anyways she got into the car and soon they were on the highway and back at the campus in less than four minutes.

Alicia glanced at her watch and saw that it was already few minutes to 4:00pm. ' time was so fast today' she thought. She glanced at Jaden to see that he was leisurely leaning his head on his left hand and his right on the wheel.

Six minutes later,they were right in front of her hostel gate and Alicia smiled greatfully before she turned to look at Jaden

"Thank you so much,I had a great time" she said appreciatively showing her gratitude through her charming smiles that left Jaden almost wanting to reach out to her and kiss those seductive lips of hers that looked like they were calling his name, infact that was the only thing running through his head right now ' to kiss her' but being a well breeded guy with a 100% self control,he knew he couldn't as that would immediately give her a wrong impression of him

'And since when did you start to care about other people's impression of you huh?' a voice questioned him causing his brows to furrow.

After a second,Jaden ran his left hand through his hair before nodding at her statement, however,just as she was about to say goodbye, Jaden reached out for the two shopping bags in the middle of the car and plainly handed them over to Alicia like it was originally hers and that she was about to forget it, Alicia looked shocked at the amount of things he was offering her, she was speechless as she stared at the two bags.

"W-what for,you,you didn't have to do this" she said trying to politely decline because he indeed had already done more than enough for her since last night

"Just take it" Jaden said in a weary voice. " I already got it so just take else we might have problems" he warned in a gentle voice that didn't lack truth

After a whole 30 seconds of pondering, Alicia finally took the bags and she smiled at him again. " Thank you very much for this" she said not knowing how to thank him again. "and oh,do have a great day"

"Yeah you too" Jaden replied and Alicia was happy he did.

As Alicia cane down from the car,she was just about to lock the door when suddenly she remembered something.

"And oh,you never told me your full names, Jaden....?"

Jaden Froze upon hearing his name from her lips,it was the first time she had said his name and damn!! Why did his name gotta be so sexy in her lips?!,he blinked unable to understand why before he finally answered.

"Jaden Kai" he replied looking at her face intently, probably waiting for a reaction but none came,instead she only smiled at him even more.

"Jaden Kai,JK for short" she reasoned out loud. " Ok then bye" she waved at him before she finally closed the door and walked towards her hostel gate.

Because Alicia was so giddy and Happy about her new stuffs,she didn't notice the shock on the faces of three girls who were standing and discussing amongst themselves when the car pulled up in front of them.

Each of them had taken their time to observe and inspect the Grand Cherokee before them and there was no mistaking about it as even in their sleep,they were sure to be able to identify that car, infact everyone on campus did but then they still had doubts because he was too scarce a figure to be easily seen on campus and that too at Hostel Hall 3 girls but as soon as their eyes zeroed in on the plate number which all the girls in Montgomery had at the back of their head they began to ask questions among themselves as they stared at Alicia's retreating figure.

Alicia arrived at the stairs with the name Jaden Kai on her lips and just as she was about to take the first step, something struck her and the name Jaden Kai hit her brain so hard such that she was forced to remember it.
