How It All Began (i)

(THIRD POV)

[FLASHBACK]

Noah McKnight couldn't believe that the same person he has had business with for the past five years was the same person trying to bring down the company he had worked on with all his passion.

Just the nerve!

"The audacity!" Noah screamed and swung the glass he had in his hand to the wall.

The men in the room jumped a little, they had never seen Noah as angry as he was. They didn't know what to do, they just let him rant. They knew whatever they would say won't work. Noah was not a cruel boss. But at that moment no one wanted to cross him.

He walked to the table and picked the papers for the second time, of course, it was still the same, it was not like the words had changed.

He just turned around.

The man in the boardroom watched him keenly.

A moment of silence passed. It was quiet, it was scary.
