The Long Road Ahead

Diana's "morning" ignited the primal fire within Russell that he had barely managed to suppress.

"Morning!"

Russell controlled his emotions and replied to Diana.

Luckily, he was under the covers, so there was no risk of Diana seeing him. Otherwise, Diana would have surely teased him again, testing his self-control.

But, when in the presence of a goddess like Diana, having a lack of self-control was almost normal. If he didn't react to Diana's current alluring appearance, he would question whether he had some hidden ailment.

Although he appeared calm, Diana, who knew him well, could easily discern his true thoughts.

"I don't plan to go to the museum today," Diana raised an eyebrow, her tone soft and seductive.

"Really? That's quite a coincidence; I don't plan to go to the company today either!"

Although he was still experiencing intermittent pain, Russell ignored it. He reached out his right hand and gently held Diana's exquisite chin.

"Miss Prince, I have a research project on the origin of life that I'd like to discuss with you. Are you interested in joining my research team?"

"Mr. Bradley, I'm very interested in your research project. Do you need any other materials or equipment? If not, I suggest you start right away!"

"Alright, Miss Prince!"

With that, Russell flipped over and pressed down on Diana's enticing figure. Soon, the bedroom was filled with the sounds of Russell and Diana engaging in a discussion about the origin of life.

While discussing the topic of the origin of life with Diana, Russell's mind involuntarily recalled the poems he had memorized. The research project on the origin of life lasted for more than an hour, and both Russell and Diana were satisfied with the answers they had found.

After freshening up and changing into clean clothes, Russell and Diana went to the dining room. Russell hadn't eaten for over forty hours. Despite his extraordinary physique, he had expended a significant amount of energy in the past few days due to intense battles.

When the dining room's robots brought the food, Russell devoured the high-calorie, high-sugar "calorie bombs" in front of him. He ate voraciously, in stark contrast to Diana, who displayed impeccable table manners.

As he replenished the energy he had lost over the past two days, the Hulk arrived with a keg of whiskey in hand. He stopped when he saw Diana sitting next to Russell, hesitating for more than ten seconds.

He took a few gulps of whiskey from the keg, then approached Russell and Diana. With a respectful tone, he said to Diana, "Good afternoon, Miss Prince."

Upon hearing the Hulk's words, both Russell and Diana furrowed their brows.

What was going on with this guy?

This wasn't the first time the Hulk had seen Diana. Although Diana didn't frequent the headquarters of the Justice League, the Hulk had seen her at the Octopus Monster Industry headquarters and laboratory.

While they didn't know why the Hulk was suddenly showing such a respectful expression, Diana didn't think too much about it. She looked at the Hulk and greeted him gently, "Good afternoon, Hulk!"

Upon hearing Diana's response, the Hulk nodded and sat down across from Russell and Diana.

"The training grounds are gone, and the Hulk has nowhere to train."

The outdoor training grounds were mainly designed for the Hulk. Although the Justice League headquarters had an indoor training facility, it wasn't suitable for someone with the Hulk's incredible strength and destructive power.

"For now, you can take a break from training. We'll repair the training grounds, and you can resume training when they're ready."

Russell calmly advised.

The Hulk rarely left the Justice League headquarters and used training as a way to expend excess energy. Although the Hulk preferred fighting instinctively in battles, having some combat skills at his disposal couldn't hurt.

Additionally, Russell had plans to turn the Hulk into the "Worldbreaker Hulk," also known as "Green Scar."

The Hulk had tremendous potential as a warrior and tank. While the Hulk was formidable when fighting barehanded, there was no substitute for using weapons.

Even if he couldn't train the Hulk to become proficient in all eighteen weapons, at least he could teach him some basic weapon skills.

"Can the Hulk go outside?"

The Hulk looked at Russell expectantly.

"You can, but you need to wear a uniform when you go out!"

Within the Justice League headquarters, Russell didn't require the Hulk to wear a complete uniform. As long as the Hulk was willing to wear pants, it was sufficient. However, when the Hulk left the headquarters, it was a different story.

Russell didn't mind the Hulk going shirtless, but for the sake of the public's perception, he insisted that the Hulk wear a full uniform when leaving the headquarters.

"The Hulk will wear a uniform when going out!"

The Hulk said seriously.

"Good!"

After receiving Russell's approval, the Hulk happily left the dining room.

After their meal, Russell and Diana left the dining room. They didn't leave the Justice League headquarters but began dealing with the aftermath of their recent battles.

To be precise, Russell began handling the various consequences left behind.

Last night, Endosymbiotic Battle Armor No. 01 had suffered the most extensive damage in its history. Although Diana's shockwave hadn't completely destroyed the armor, it had damaged over ninety percent of the armor's intelligent liquid metal.

While the damage was severe, repairing Endosymbiotic Battle Armor No. 01 wasn't a significant challenge. Russell had a large barrel of spare intelligent liquid metal in his system space.

After retrieving the silver-white barrel filled with intelligent liquid metal from his system space, Endosymbiotic Battle Armor No. 01 was restored to its original condition in just a few minutes.

Once he had addressed Endosymbiotic Battle Armor No. 01's issues, Russell checked on the White Zetsu Armies, including Big White and Little White.

Although the White Zetsu Armies hadn't been very helpful last night, they had also been affected by the shockwave of Diana's divine power. Apart from a few unfortunate ones who were seriously injured and needed time to recover, the rest of the White Zetsu Armies were fine.

After confirming that the White Zetsu Armies were not in any life-threatening condition, Russell instructed No. 3 to repair the training grounds that had been turned into a giant crater.

When the robots from the unmanned factory arrived to repair the training grounds with great enthusiasm, Russell checked his own status.

Without any hesitation, he opened the system interface.
