Diana is the head of Stardust Charity, and Peter's beautiful aunt May happens to be the second in command at Stardust Charity.
Although Diana doesn't often go to the offices of Stardust Charity, whenever she visits, she can hear May mention Peter to some extent.
In the past, when Peter had just been persuaded by Russell to become an intern at the detective agency, May was a bit worried that Peter might turn bad.
Especially when Peter brought home his first week's salary.
With Russell's public identity and Peter joining the laboratory as the chief researcher at the time, May finally dispelled her worries about Peter.
At first, she even suspected that Peter was being led into a life of crime by Russell.
Otherwise, how could an underage high school student earn such a high income that even adults couldn't?
Apart from Peter not dating other female classmates like his peers, May was exceptionally satisfied with him.
So, this led to May constantly praising Peter unconsciously.
And Diana, in this way, passively received a lot of information about Peter.
"With Peter on board, there are already six members of the Justice League. Have you considered revealing your identity?" Russell looked at Diana's flawless and captivating face.
"When do you think it would be appropriate for me to reveal my identity?" Diana asked in return.
"Perhaps the next time a serious crisis event occurs!" Russell replied slowly.
Although Diana wanted to live a normal life for a while, as Russell and the Justice League popularity grew, Diana's ordinary life was increasingly affected.
In fact, many people were now speculating that Diana was not an ordinary person.
Not only were curious crowds outside, even some of Diana's colleagues in the museum had similar thoughts.
"You seem to know that there will be a major event happening next?" Diana looked at Russell in puzzlement.
"I don't have the ability to predict the future; I just feel that S.H.I.E.L.D. is about to cause a big problem," Russell said seriously.
"A big problem? What kind of big problem?" Diana continued to ask.
"They are researching and developing advanced powers that they can't control at all!" Russell briefly explained the ongoing second phase of the Cosmic Cube project at S.H.I.E.L.D.
He didn't know this originally. Natasha had told him about it the night they met with Coulson.
He had intended to instruct Natasha to gather more information, but unexpectedly, Natasha went off the grid.
Although Natasha had gone off the grid, Russell was not worried that her brainwashing effect had worn off.
If he guessed correctly, Natasha had received a task from Nick Fury's temporary arrangement, which was why she suddenly went off the grid.
"The Cosmic Cube?" Diana frowned, her expression becoming more serious.
Although she didn't know what the Cosmic Cube was, one thing she was certain of was that myths and legends were not just myths and legends.
She was the illegitimate daughter of Zeus, the king of the gods of Olympus.
Even though this was not the DC universe she came from, she knew that the myths and legends in this world were not so simple either.
Hearing that the Cosmic Cube was discovered by Red Skull in a church in Tønsberg, Norway, based on Norse mythology, and that it was said to be a treasure of Odin, the father of the gods, Diana knew that things were not as simple as they seemed.
In the DC world, there might not be an organization like S.H.I.E.L.D., but there were plenty of organizations and individuals trying to control extraterrestrial powers just like S.H.I.E.L.D.
"If S.H.I.E.L.D. is really using the Cosmic Cube to develop mass-destructive weapons, they will definitely attract the attention of other civilizations."
"S.H.I.E.L.D.'s actions, in the eyes of other civilizations, are a signal that Earth is preparing for advanced warfare!"
Although Diana didn't have much fondness for S.H.I.E.L.D., she didn't expect that S.H.I.E.L.D. would dare to use completely unknown powers to develop mass-destructive weapons.
"I share your view, so if things go as expected, there will definitely be a shocking global event happening soon," Russell agreed with Diana's statement.
This was not the first time he had heard Diana express this view.
If he remembered correctly, on the Helicarrier, Thor had said something similar to Nick Fury.
"I just hope that the trouble S.H.I.E.L.D. causes this time won't harm too many innocent people," Diana said helplessly.
Although they could remind S.H.I.E.L.D., it was clear that S.H.I.E.L.D. would not pay any attention to their warnings.
If their relationship with S.H.I.E.L.D. was better, S.H.I.E.L.D. might consider their advice to some extent.
But unfortunately, their relationship with S.H.I.E.L.D. was only a thin layer of window paper away from being enemies.
"I'm curious about what kind of trouble S.H.I.E.L.D. is going to cause this time," Russell said with a smile.
If everything was following the timeline of the movie universe, it would be about time for the storyline of Thor being exiled.
But clearly, this world was not the movie universe.
This meant that if S.H.I.E.L.D. did indeed attract extraterrestrial attention with the Cosmic Cube, it was very likely that it would be Thanos himself coming out of the space portal.
Even if it wasn't Thanos himself, it was highly likely to be his Black Order.
Before receiving the "The Marvelous Superman" reward, Russell had no desire to meet Thanos.
But now it was different.
He was looking forward to meeting Thanos.
He wanted to see who was more unreasonable in terms of physique between Thanos, who could defeat the Hulk with just a set of boxing, and himself, who had Kryptonian blood.
Seeing Russell's eager expression, Diana shook her head helplessly.
After dinner, Russell and Diana returned to the apartment in a self-driving Porsche.
As soon as the Porsche stopped in the underground parking lot, Russell frowned.
He had just used his telescopic and X-ray vision to look at the apartment.
"What's wrong?" Diana didn't have X-ray vision and hadn't noticed the unwelcome guest on the rooftop of the building.
"An unwelcome guy has come to the rooftop of the building," Russell said with a grim tone.
The person who appeared on the rooftop of the building was none other than the Winter Soldier, Bucky.
"You go back in the elevator first; I'll deal with that guy," Russell said.
After getting out of the car, he didn't hesitate and immediately used his flying ability to fly out of the parking lot exit.
In less than three seconds, he arrived on the rooftop of the building.
"You better give me a satisfactory answer, or you won't expect to leave here alive," Russell said to the masked and cold-looking Bucky.
"The leader wants to see you!" Bucky didn't care about Russell's dissatisfaction and said coldly.
"Which leader? Be clear!"
Bucky didn't speak and took out a cell phone from his pocket, tossing it to Russell.
