Dillan showed us the car, it was a nice car, it was a big blue SUV. It only had a little gas so we all agreed that we were able to sleep in it. This way, we could just lock the doors and nobody would have to keep an eye on the roamers. I wouldn't mind keeping an eye though because it gives me time to write in my journal. Today I decided that I was going to write a poem:

I go outside to feel the breeze. It's comforting not to hear those peace-taking thieves.

I sway with the trees and listen to the birds. This feels so right it's a relief not to see blood or have to fight. I look around for the answer to all my questions but it's nowhere in sight. I guess I have to deal with these peace-stealing thieves all day and all night. But wait it's not over until they point their dead, dirty fingers at me and say I'm here to ruin your life and make your family miserable too!!!

No, I try to keep the peace. I swear I wish you peace-stealing thieves would evaporate and disappear.

My dream was pleasant, I dreamed that I was on an island. It was a pleasant island, and I was there with all my family. It was the sound of a dog that startled me, then the world started shaking and then I woke up. I looked up to see Robbie and Dillan over me, Max was in the window barking. I quickly sat up, wondering what was wrong. Dillan added to Robbie's sentence that there were a lot of zombies around.ment. My eyes widened, well what do we do, we should try and fight them off, said Robbie barely getting the words out of his mouth. I bent down and started to put wires together. I guess I should have explained before I started because Robbie pulled me back, What are you doing? We need this car. I looked at him although he was crazy and gave him a look that said you have less than five seconds to get your hands off me. I guess he realized because he removed his hand. I told him how my dad had told me before he died how to start the car without a key just in case I ever needed it. After a couple of tries, the car started and we moved through the group of roamers. I smiled as we strolled down the road and said "told you."
