Chapter 62 ending the Katayanagi Twins and Gideon 1

(3rd pov)

Right now Edward really wished that he wouldn't had removed his mana shield after the fight but it's was okay, he always thought what he would do if something unexpected like this happened

He did everything he imagined he would do and gamer mind kept his mind ready to do what he comes up with.

It's not complex tactic, he did three things, he cast blessing on himself and increased his luck and start covering his whole body with armament haki and cast the mana shield again.

The defence tactics couldn't be complete fast enough before the explosion so he covered the important part of his body, his head, dick and his upper body except his hands with armament haki and he made the mana shield first appeare around unprotected part like his hand and legs and his back.

All of this happened in a very short time.

*BOOM*

He was thrown back a little.

After the explosion all of the important part of his body was safe but part of his hands and legs were burned a little because the mana shield didn't appear in time but it's nothing serious.

There is still smoke around him so he began his next plan, he created a fake dead Edward with a lot of burn mark with the holographic image skill and then he used stealth and took out a health potion and drunk it and cast heal on himself, his wounds start to heal and in a few moments he looked like he was never in a explosion.

The smoke start to disappear and others saw the dead fake Edward.

Edward looked at Ramona and saw her trembling in shock and disbelief, the others are also in state like this.

Edward used message and informed Ramona and others that he is still alive and told them to not come close and don't show any happiness and just pretend to be sad and give him time kill the attacker.

After telling them that he is alive which was a mistake because if they show a face of relieve even for a moment it might give clues to the assassin that want him dead that he is alive and he knew that, but he couldn't left them shaken like that and even if the assassin found out Edward is sure that he can find him.

(MC pov)

I use observation haki and soon found the person that thrown those grandes at me.

I couldn't see him so he must have somehow turned himself invisible. I thought I am the only with this ability, I was too confident in the Scott pilgrim.

The man turned around walked away, he didn't even checked my body, so unprofessional, is he that sure I'm dead? I'm mean the grandes were definitely better than ordinary grenade but still. Well he doesn't know my full abilities so he clearly underestimated. even if I couldn't defence myself in time and get burned really bad I would still be alive because and I would be able to cast heal on myself, killing me is not easy anymore.

Flying above his head, i followed him.

(Ninja pov)

The mission is over. I don't need to check his body, my nose is very strong and I could smell his burned flesh, with the information I have about him it couldn't be a clone because after getting hit the clone would disappear and the illusion is just an illusion and just have voice.

I was going to poison him but Gideon told me that it probably wouldn't work on him so I went with my second option.

I should leave before the cops arrive, I didn't challenged him officially so this was just an assassination.

After leaving the festival I deactivate my invisibility a ability and call Gideon.

"It's done"I said after his answered my call

"Well done, I knew you could do it ninja"Gideon said

Ninja, just because I kill without being seen and talking less they named me ninja but whatever, the important parts of my job is money and staying alive not having a good code name, it just one time this name gives me a problem. the real ninjas from the ninja academy came for me once because they thought I am one of their rouge ninja.

fortunately everything ended without a problem once they realized I am not the person they are looking for.

"Don't forget to send me the rest of the money"I said and hang up without waiting for him so say anything.

I know he would send me the money, why wouldn't he do it? I'm sure he wouldn't want to make trouble over only 20 million.

(3rd pov)

Ninja was going to put his mobile back in his pocket after hanging up but suddenly

*BOOM*

The mobile exploded and burned his hand completely and the right side of his face.

He fall on his knees and starts screaming in pain.

He was always a silent assassin, he never fought and only knows self defense if his assassination failed he would just leave and say that the job have been failed, he wouldn't risk his life for money.

(MC pov)

I knew it, Gideon send him to kill me. I used hack on his phone and then using the connection to Gideon phone I found his location, then I used tech manipulation and made his phone to explode.

I saw him screaming in pain, fallen on knees.

I fly down and take out a sword from my inventory and covered it in armament haki and cut his head, ending his pain.

I thought I will fight Gideon and others very normally, they will come to me and die by my hand in order but one more time I forgot not everything is like the original.

I need to kill Gideon before he could find out that I'm alive and hire more powerful people to kill me.

I go back to the festival in and and create a clone and the clone use alter self and make him look like a burned person and used stealth and replaced the Illusion that I placed.

Then I go toward the Ramona and others that are talking to the police.

I wait until they finish asking the question, they probably already know Gideon is one that send someone to kill me but because of Gideon connection they couldn't do anything.

I use the message skill and tell everyone to go home and I will explain to them later why I'm acting dead

They all leaved and Ramona teleported to out home and I also used teleportation and go inside our house.

I use observation haki and look for any camera and I didn't find any so I removed the stealth.

"Edward!!"Ramona suddenly saw me after I stop using the stealth and sprint toward me and hugged me

"I told you I'm okay"I said with a smile and hugged her back

"I know and I trust you but I couldn't calm down until I see you completely okay with my own eyes"she said with a relief face

After a minute we stop hugging.

"I investigated and I found who send that assassin to kill me"I said

"It Gideon, right? I didn't know he can go this far"Ramona said with anger

"Ramona I'm gonna kill him"I said to her

"Well that's understandable"she said

"I'm happy you are okay with it"I said

"Why wouldn't I?"she asked with a raised eyebrow

"Well I was worried you would still care about him a little"I said, scratching my neck

"Why would you think that?"she asked

"Well it's a thing I thought about in my free ti..."I couldn't finish what I was saying because Ramona suddenly grabbed my face and brought it near her face,

"Stop, just stop saying stupid thing, you know my feelings for you"Ramona said

"I know, maybe it's a little insecurity"I said

"Hehe didn't you know you have insecurities too"Ramona said

"Too? What are you insecure about?"I asked

"I am afraid that you might leave me?"Ramona said with helpless smile

"Why would you think that?"I asked

"It's just, I don't know, I just see how every woman looks at you and I'm afraid some days you leave me for one of.."Ramona said but I didn't let her finish and kissed

My lips connect to her lip.

After the kiss I looked at her with a smile and she looked at me with a smile too

"I would never leave you Ramona"I said and brought her hand up and kissed her hand gently

"I guess it's in humans nature to consider the worst case scenario, the worst case scenario you would still have feelings for someone else and in your worst case I would leave you for another person"I said

"But we should remember all of this is just our imagination"I said

"Just to know what will you do if another woman steal me from you?"I asked, very curious

"I would try to win you back honey and if that woman really made you happy then I would leave to not disturb your happiness"Ramona said

"That's so sweet baby, I'm lucky to have you"I said

Yeah I doubt she would just walk away but I won't call her lie and let her believe that I believe her.

(Ramona pov)

What if that a woman steal my Edward? Hehe that woman should piss herself because I would become her WORST FUCKING NIGHTMARE.

I'm sure Edward doubt that I would just walk away but he didn't say anything.

"What would you do if I still had a thing for another man"I asked

"Well I will try to win you completely and made that person disappear from your heart"he said

"That is a perfect answer honey"I said 

Yeah right, I doubt that this is a the only thing you will do but I won't say anything and let him believe that the I believe him

What if Ramona had a thing for another man? Well that man would become the worst person on earth and I will be the one that turns him into the worst person on earth. I will use the devil whisperer and made that man and addict to drugs and make him sleep around with other people or just remove his male organs and make her a female, and as for Ramona well I will make her completely forget about the other person and then that person will disappear from her heart and in reality but all of this are just what if and it's not real.

I guess Ramona didn't believe that i would just try to win her heart but she didn't say anything.

"Okay now that we finished with this pointless low level drama, let's go kill your ex boyfriend"I said with a smile

"Okay"she said with a chuckle

"Where is he now?"Ramona asked with a smile

"New York"I said 

"Let's go"Ramona said and used her teleportation and I find ourselves above the Statue of Liberty!!??

"You said never have been in New York so I guessed it would be good we start with the special places in New York"Ramona said

"Thank you"I said and kissed her

"Is there a zoo? Because I think I want new animals in my army"I said

"You want to steal animals from the zoo?" Ramona said

"Why not?"i asked

"Come on"Ramona said

"Okay, I guess I can wait till I kill your ex boyfriend, gain all of his money and then buy animals illegally"I said

"That's the spirit honey"Ramona said with a chuckle

We stayed above the Statue of Liberty for a little and enjoyed the view, well not exactly we start making out.

"Let's go to Gideon company"I said and stopped playing with her tits

She stop moaning and after few seconds she fixed her clothes and said "okay"

She teleported us to Gideon company. We went inside and walked toward the receptionist.

"Hi, how can I help you?"the receptionist asked

"Hello, we are here to meet Gideon, we don't have appointment but tell him that Edward Kenway and Ramona flower wants to meet him and I'm sure he will agree"I said

After hearing me the receptionist called Gideon.

(Gideon pov)

"Sadly Ramona new boyfriend was becoming a trouble so I had to remove him. We need to wait for Ramona to find a new boyfriend but I'm sure it's worth waiting for another person instead of fighting Edward Kenway, don you guys agree?"I asked

"We agree"the twin said

It's just me and them but I think it's enough.

O was going to talk with them more but someone called me.

"Excuse me for a second"I said to the twins and answered the call

"What is it?"I asked

(3rd pov)

Gideon talked with his receptionist and found out someone named Edward Kenway wants to meet him.

'its impossible!! My people besides ninja in the festival already confirmed that Edward Kenway is dead' Gideon thought

"Send Edward Kenway and Ramona flower to my office"Gideon said and ended the call

"As you can guess there is chance that Edward Kenway is alive and he is here or maybe it's an imposter but I doubt it"Gideon said to the twins and used his computer and looked at the security camera in the lobby 

"Well, he is a alive after all"Gideon said with anger

(MC pov)

"Mr Gideon will meet you in his office, please take elevator and go to the last floor"the receptionist

"No need"Ramona said and teleported us in front of Gideon office

So what do you think of this chapter?

Honestly I wasn't going it kill Gideon but after thinking about it I realised that it wasn't reasonable for MC to leave Gideon after trying to kill him.

And for MC little insecurity if you can even called insecurity because he was only worried that Ramona would have thing for Gideon still not that she would leave him for Gideon. Why he had thought like this? Because he is human and he could think about the worst things.

How was the defence against the explosion? Was it reasonable and believable?

I did a little world building and said what is count as crime and assassination and when police will involve themselves.

Ninja my first oc and he died just like that.

By the way if you are wondering why a holographic images have smell then it's because you didn't read it right or forgot that after he got better he could create such smells.

I'm also going to show how Gideon made money out of the Glow.
