Jealous

In addition, it is worth mentioning that the position of Anbu captain comes with substantial perks. Besides a generous salary, the village provides a separate house, a mansion in a prime location complete with a garden. While it's not on par with the main residence of the Hyuga clan, it's far more luxurious than Kazuya's previous dwelling.

Kazuya had been busy moving in these past two days, feeling both tired and elated.

"It's a pity," Kazuya thought as he gazed at his splendid new home. If he had known he'd be promoted to Anbu captain and awarded a grand house, he wouldn't have borrowed money from Tsunade for his previous place. He worried briefly about Tsunade and Shizune ending up in financial trouble because of his loan, but dismissed the thought, trusting in Tsunade's resourcefulness.

Over the next few days, Kazuya balanced moving in with handling the transition at Anbu. Moving from vice-captain to captain involved a substantial increase in workload. As an Anbu captain, he now had access to most of the village's S-level information. Kazuya would sift through interesting files in the office, leaving the bulk of administrative work to Kurenai, despite the slight illegality of the arrangement. With Kurenai Yuhi as his assistant, Kazuya could smoothly focus on more pressing matters.

Each day, he would work in Anbu, tease Kurenai in the office, then head to the training ground to absorb chakra points and talents.

"You picked up 50 points of chakra."

"You picked up 40 points of chakra."

"You picked up 60 points of chakra."

"You picked up 100 combat experience points."

"You picked up 20 points of Wind Style talent."

"You picked up 20 points of Earth Style talent."

Even on days spent idly in Anbu, Kazuya could accumulate over 2,000 points of chakra. Though not as lucrative as battlefield gains, it was safe and consistent.

One afternoon, Kazuya's office saw the arrival of three new guests: Uchiha Shisui, Uchiha Itachi, and Uchiha Izumi—three prodigies of the Uchiha Clan. Uchiha Izumi, despite being a novice with a two-tomoe Sharingan, still showed considerable promise.

"Master Kazuya!"

"Hello, Master Kazuya!"

Itachi appeared slightly reserved, and Uchiha Izumi curiously observed Kazuya. They had been told he was a formidable ninja they must respect.

"Don't be nervous," Kazuya said with a warm smile. "Itachi, Izumi, you two will be part of the Anbu Intelligence Analysis Department from now on. You'll report directly to me."

He glanced at Uchiha Izumi, noting her beauty and potential.

"Yes, Master Kazuya," both Itachi and Izumi responded with a bow.

"See? I told you," Shisui said with a smile. "Kazuya-senpai is very kind. You two will get along well here."

Kazuya nodded, then turned to Shisui. "Shisui, how's your injury?"

"Much better," Shisui replied gratefully. "Thanks to you, Kazuya-senpai, I survived that encounter with the Two-Tails Jinchūriki."

Kazuya shook his head. "I can't just stand by and watch my comrades fall into danger. I'd risk my life to save any of you. Everything I do is for the village."

His expression softened as he looked at Shisui and Itachi with a mixture of relief and concern. Shisui and Itachi were like walking treasure troves of experience and potential.

As Kazuya finished speaking, the Uchiha trio felt a renewed sense of admiration and resolve. Kazuya's deeds backed his words, inspiring them deeply.

"It's all for the village," Itachi thought, his young mind gaining a new perspective on life.

Currently, Shisui was already a formidable ninja, while Itachi, still developing, was at an Elite Chunin level, remarkable given his recent graduation from the ninja academy. Uchiha Izumi, though talented, was not yet on the same level, but her beauty and potential were notable.

Kazuya, unable to guide Sharingan training personally, delegated their instruction to Kakashi and Uzuki Yugao. Kakashi would mentor Itachi, while Yugao would oversee Izumi, ensuring they received proper guidance.

The arrival of Itachi and Izumi, facilitated by their patriarch Fugaku and sanctioned by the Third Hokage, was intended to immerse Uchiha members in the Will of Fire. Despite the lofty goal, Kazuya knew it was overambitious.

Recently, Uzuki Yugao had been experiencing mixed emotions. Watching Kazuya from a distance, she felt a sense of loss, especially with Uchiha Izumi's presence. Yet, Izumi's gentle demeanor and lesser strength provided Yugao some solace.

On the Anbu training ground, Uzuki Yugao vented her frustrations during training sessions with Uchiha Izumi.

"Leaf Hurricane!"

"Konoha-ryu Swordsmanship: Dance of the Crescent Moon!"

"Konoha-ryu Swordsmanship: Obscure Moonlight Night!"

As Uzuki unleashed her moves, Uchiha Izumi could only defend herself.

"Senior Yugao, I give up..." Izumi conceded.

Seeing Izumi yield, Uzuki felt a small sense of victory. While she couldn't best Kurenai, she could at least outperform Izumi.
