Chapter 260

Just as super boy jumped in the air, first ready to strike at Jack, the wall beside them exploded in as the young justice team were thrown away.

Jack saw a first coming at him in slow motion, the visage of a man was also clear, with a silver colored shirt and the iconic symbol of house of el present on it.

Jack watched with interest as he could literally hear the animalistic roars of the Superman clone in his mind.

'Damn you are loud.' Jack moved to the side as the clone flew besides him and landed roughly.

It's eyes glowed red as it slowly made way towards Jack.

"Wait! there is more then one clone?" Asked Wally.

"No time for chit chat, we need to inform the league or we will all die." Yelled Aquaman as Robin started typing on his hand keyboard.

Jack watched all this with interest all the while he easily blocked and predicted all of the clone's move,

Jack was able to determine that the clone was almost as powerful as a weakened superman but still stronger than the other clone that had rationality.

'Let's see if I can bring you back to your senses.' Thought Jack as he gripped the clone's arm and broke it with a simple tug,

"Ghaaaaaa!" The clone yelled as the sound of broken bones was heard by everyone.

"Shit! he broke his arm so easily," Wally yelled.

"Robin! if you are gonna do something, do it now!!" Yelled Wally in panic as he arrived beside Robin.

the small group of heroes didn't dare go head and stop Jack, not because the were afraid, but because they felt that the man was helping them.

It was in their favor that Jack keeps the clone busy while they find a way to contact the league.

Jack on the other hand was now looking into the mind of the clone, after looking around for a while, he understood that the guy was not even sentient, there was no signs of intelligence on him.

he was just a broken machine that only knew to kill or be killed.

"I am sorry little clone, but I guess it's in your destiny to die, I must say that I tried my best, but it's a pity," Jack Fripped the clone's head with his full strength, soon he could hear the micro sounds of the bones creaking under his might.

With an audible pop, the head of the clone was ripped apart as Jack threw it away, effectively dealing with the clone.

"That was quite an easy mission, why do I not hear the system?" Jack thought as he looked at the lifeless body on the floor.

"Don't tell me I have to deal with all the clones in the facility." Jack thought as he eyed the other clone, the one that would go ahead and join the league.

*Booom*

The sounds of an explosion brought Jack out of his mumbling, The team led by Robin also left the underground hideout as it made way for the opening.

As they did so, they came across the real Justice league.

"Quick! there is a guy inside and he took care of a superman clone." Wally said with Incomprehensible speed, though many of the leaguers were able to understand him.

Giving a nod, The flash made a move as he ran inside while the others watched the young sidekicks with a look of disappointment, minus Batman who was looking at Robin with his usual glare

"What!"

"You disobeyed my orders, you put the team at risk" Said Batman.

"For all intents and purposes, it wasn't his decision alone, we were all in on this." said Aquaman as he came forward

"Yeah, it's time you all stop treating us as children, we are ready." Said Wally as he also took a step forward.

Batman didn't reply as his eyes landed on a boy that looked like he had been In a tough fight, but what attracted his attention was the symbol on his chest

"A..clone" He concluded.

Super boy visibly flinched as he glared at Batman,

"I am not a clone, I am superboy," He yelled.

At this moment, a flying figure approached as he saw the commotion, superboy looks ahead excitedly as he saw the flying figure.

"Sorry guys, had to save a civilian on the way," Said Superman. Though he breath hitched at the sight of an unusual kid.

His eyes narrowed.

The scene turned awkward as Superman came to the realization that the one in front of his was a clone.

Not knowing what to do, both of them stood as they looked at each other for a moment

Wally elbowed superboy, prompting him to walk forward, though that seemed a bad idea as it didn't take Superman even a moment to fly away.

Super boy looked in sadness as he was rejected, the others also felt awkward, though that didn't stop the bat from making it even more awkward as he started questioning Superboy, who was surprisingly cooperative.

Though both of the teams were going at each others neck again, that was fortunately avoided again when The Flash walked out of the crater, followed by a calm and collected Jack.

Everyone's eyes were now on Jack.
