Chapter 190

Paul was still in a state of confusion when he arrived at the office , he brought all his files out and take them back in, he brought them out again and take them in.

“Sir are you looking for something?” his secretary asked because he has called her to his office but hasn’t said anything to her since she arrived.

“No, I’m sorry why are you here.?”

“But you called me”

“Really!, sorry you can go back to your seat.”

“Ok sir”

He was still confused when he receive a call from James telling him that Sharon has taking Patrick to court.

“What why?”

“Because Patrick has refused to sign the divorce papers”.

“What are we going to do now?”

“I don't know, the best thing is to talk to Patrick. Let him just sign and leave Sharon alone because the Sharon I saw in my office she’s not ready to stay with Patrick anymore”

“That's a big problem, I’ve try talking to Patrick but he won’t listen, I also tried talking to Sharon but none of them is ready to listen to me, I don’t know what else to do, not to talk of my own problems.”

“Guy you don't have a case, the person that has a case is Patrick so chill”

“How can you tell me to chill when I'm no longer myself, do you know the fire that will be burning in my house if I just try it and not to talk of the fact that I can no longer control myself”

“And I’m still telling you that you don’t have a case, all we need to do now is talk to Patrick let him sign these papers to avoid the trouble of going to court every now and then. I know what I'm talking about” James said.

“Yeah you’re right, I’ll see you when I close from work then we can go check up on Patrick”

“it's alright I'll be waiting for your call”

They got to Patrick's house and he was busy playing computer game.

“Is this the guy you asked me to come and see?” Paul ask James.

“Hey guys what are you guys doing here with your suits on, are you guys coming straight from the office” he asked still concentrating on his game.

“That is because we are worried about you Patrick”

“And when do you guys start worrying about me do I look like a girl?”

“Do you know that Sharon has taking you to court?”

“What?” he dropped his computer game and face James.

 “What did you just say?”

“The guy didn't even know, hahaha” James laugh facing Paul.

“Will you stop joking around and just tell me what is going on, what did Sharon do?”

“She has filed a case against you and guess what, I am her lawyer can you imagine that?”

“So who is going to be my own lawyer?,” Patrick ask looking at James. But James turn to look at Paul.

“Look that is why we are here, we just want to say sign the papers and let her go” Paul said.

"I can see that you guys don't have anything to talk about" Patrick said and pick up his computer game and start all over again.
