Charlotte Reeves, a wealthy middle aged painter must face the reality of raising a troublesome 8 year old son alone after the divorce from her husband, Detective Jon. "Yes of course we would," Jacobi laughed. "That is if your man comes out of this alive. If he doesn't then either of us would be trying to kill the other."

Alberto had stared at him for almost a minute before handing him a bottle of scotch. Jacobi took it from him and gulped it down without even bothering to say thank you and once the bottle was empty, he passed it back to Alberto and smiled. Alberto stared at him as if he was a mad person and he frowned, wondering why Alberto stared.

"That could have been poisoned," Alberto said still staring intently at him. "Are you always this care free with people you do not know? I like it, it's a good attitude, a cheerful man you are. The only bad thing about it is that it can get you killed pretty quick."
