"Quick, hide, he's coming!" Charlotte shouted nudging Jacobi. "You can't let him see you here."

"This is all your fault Charlotte," Jacobi murmured. "You should have waited to see first."

"This is not time to shift blames," Charlotte cried. "Quick, hide! He's coming."

"Come on then," Jacobi nudged Marty. "Let's go hide."

Charlotte stared at him. "What do you mean? Marty stays with me."

"I don't think so," Jacobi frowned. "Remember Ratzinger saw us together some days ago so…"

"Wait, what?" Charlotte gasped. "Ratzinger saw two of you together?"

"Yes," he said. "Some days ago, in that truck…Oh shit! He'll know I'm around if he sees it."

"Why did you come here then!" Charlotte cried. "This is the first place any detective would start looking for clues to an unsolved murder!"

"I couldn't just sit back and watch you face it alone," Jacobi muttered. "I had to help you!"
