Chapter Thirty six

Kirsten Tiana's personal assistant was cleaning the living room when she heard a gentle knock on the door. She arranged herself before she opened the door, she was surprised to see Chad standing by the door with his hands in his pockets. 

"Hey," he said casually and she lowered her head.

"Good day, your royal highness," she greeted him and he chuckled.

"No need for all these formalities, dear," he sighed. "What about Tiana I have to tell her something very important."

"Oh, she went on an excursion," Kirsten told him, "she didn't inform you?"

"What a pain!" He pinched his nose. "I wasn't informed."

"Maybe, you can drop the message and I will tell her when she's back."

"I want to tell her myself." He insisted and raked his hair with his hand.

"Okay," she said and started playing with her fingers. "So, you're leaving?"

"Yes, I am," he raised his eyebrow, "anything?"

"Can you wait a little while?" She illustrated with her index finger and her thumb almost touching each other. "A very little while?"

Chad stared at her uncertain why she wanted him to stay a little while and he raked his hair thinking of what to do or say.

"Okay," he told her and she smiled. She opened the door fully and gestured her hands into the well-furnished living room.

He walked into it with a smirk on his face, he was already predicting what was going to happen and this was according to his plan.

He sank into one of the couches in the living room and exhaled.

"So, Kirsten, how many years have you been Tiana's assistant?" Chad asked Kirsten and she smiled, she was quite nervous but she was able to hide it.

"Since she was 15."

"Wow, that's long, and I know that she enjoys your company, right?" He grinned. "You know you're a very nice person."

"Really?" She blushed.

"Yes you are," he sighed. "I wouldn't tell you so if you weren't."

"Thank you, your highness," she pouted and he took his lips in.

"Can you call me Chad?"

"But, your highness..."

"I know I know, but I prefer you call me Chad."

"Okay, I will," she played with her fingers and her eyes

were fixed to the floor, she was quite shy to look in the eyes.

"So apart from working for Tiana do you do any order thing?" Chad wanted to know more about her, he had been seeing her all this while whenever he came to see Tiana but he did not have the chance to speak with her. He noticed how she stares at him sometimes, but she usually turns away whenever he stares back.

"No I don't do any other thing, this is what I only do." She replied to him sheepishly and he grinned.

"Interesting. Why didn't you follow her to the excursion?" He paused. "I'm just curious."

"Uhm, I wanted to attend to some things back here," she lied and Chad knew that she was lying, as Tiana's assistant she was supposed to follow her where ever she went.

"Okay, you're cleaning the house?" He asked and she nodded.

"Yes, I am. I was dusting the couches before you came in."

"Hope I am not the one that made you stop cleaning?" He chuckled and she giggled at the way he kept his face.

"No, you're not." He glared at her and she kept on giggling.

"Are you sure?"  He asked her.

"Not really...okay, I stopped because you came in..." She paused and then she cursed, "Gosh, I am so terrible."

Chad was surprised at her sudden change in mood.

"What happened?"

"I forgot to offer you something all this while, you know..."

"Kirsten..." He called her softly and she stopped talking. She stared at him and his sea-blue eyes pierced through her--Kirsten had never seen someone as good-looking as him.

"Yeah," she answered sheepishly.

"Sometimes you have to forget about everything you're meant to do and do the things you don't usually do."

"What do you mean by that?"

"You're used to being formal, polite and all, probably because you work in a palace and are the assistant of a royal, yes, it's good to be respectful, show some ethics, do some fancy introduction, blah, blah blah," he sighed and pinched his nose. "But sometimes you just have to let things go and be normal."

"How will I be normal?" She asked, eager to be this 'normal' prince Chad spoke of.

"I can teach you how to be normal." A mischievous grin appeared on his face and he folded his hands together.

"Really?"

"Yeah, I'll just have to open you up and remove all the royal blah blah blah standard you know of and replace it with something more worthwhile," he emphasised and she giggled, she did not understand what he was saying but it sounded funny to her.

"Are you serious?"

"Nah, I am just joking, being normal is easy, you just have to do what normal people do." He paused.

"What do normal people do?" Kirsten asked curiously.

"Listen to music..."

"I don't really, listen to music."

"Play games?"

"Don't do that either."

"What about going to see a movie?"

"I can't remember the last time I did that too."

"Spend time with friends?"

"I don't have any friends, anyone that is Tiana's friend is also my friend."

Chad sighed and stared at her, he saw how boring her life was, but he was going to spice it up, for a short time.

"I know how all the difficult things you go through, so I don't blame you for being this way, you were trained to protect and this made your social life shrink," he sighed.

"I never had any social life, my mom and dad were in the secret service, they served the prime minister of my country, they raised me to be this way, I followed their footsteps, I chose their careers." She said with her voice barely above a whisper. 

Kirsten did not know that she was now under his control, just with a few words Chad had gotten a lot of information from her, but he wanted more than that.

Chad stood up and walked over to her. He sat close to her and being in his proximity made her feel more nervous.

"The most important thing is do you really want to be this?" He asked her and she stared at him, perplexed by what she wanted to become, all she thought of was to protect Tiana and help her in almost everything, that was what she was trained for.

"I guess so," a satisfying smile crept to her face. "I enjoy being with Tiana, she doesn't treat me like a normal assistant she treats me like a friend, she is nice, and she always tries to make me happy and feel comfortable." She paused and smiled. "I remembered the first day I was assigned to be her assistant, she was happy and she gave me a lot of things and told me a lot of things about herself. Tiana is just a nice and free person and I know your true motives..."

"Really?" He placed him on her shoulder. "Tell me Kirsten what are your true motives towards Tiana?"

She froze and her lips quivered. She forgot what she wanted to say and all she thought of was how captivating Chad was.

"I don't know," she mumbled.

"No need to be normal, Kirsten, just continue to be who you are," he cupped her cheeks with his hands, "I lied Kirsten, there are no normal people...if you enjoy being with Tiana and your happy with you're doing, then keep doing it Kirsten, this is all I can say."

"I think my life is boring at times, sometimes I just want to..."

"Just want to do what Kirsten?" An impish grin was on his face and his thumbs rubbed her cheeks slowly. "Tell me, Kirsten."

She shut her eyes and in a few seconds she decided to do one of the most outrageous things in her life--she kissed him.

Her tongue slowly touched Chad's own, and her hands were on him. She bit his lips and the softness of them made her moan. His warm tongue wrapped around hers and his hands searched for her waist.

This was the first time Kirsten was ever kissing someone, but it looked like she had been doing it for a while now, she felt butterflies in her stomach and her body tingled with pleasure.

"What are you doing, Kirsten?" Chad muttered while kissing her.

"I'm living a normal life." She replied with a moan.

DUBAN INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT

Tiana got scared and shivers ran down her spine.

"Turn this jet back." She shouted, gripping the life out of her phone. "Turn this jet around now." She stood up from her sit and went to the plane door.

The hostesses held her and tried to prevent her from opening it and jumping off the plane.

"Turn this jet around or I will jump off it," she threatened. "I order all of you!"

"But ma'am that's not possible, that will be going against the rules." A hostess tried to explain to Tiana but it fell on deaf ears.

"I don't care, this isn't a public flight and do you even know who you are speaking with?" She rolled her eyes and hissed. "If you know what's good for all of you turn this jet around."

"But ma'am..."

"Just shut up and go tell the pilots to turn this plane back to KU, unless I will lose it you fools...I swear I am going to jump off this damn plane." Tiana did not care about anything, she just wanted to go back to Tiana and meet Chad, so that he could tell her that the video on the news was fake.

"Ma'am please take your sit and stop causing a lot of commotion here," a hostess told Tiana and she fumed. Tiana slapped the hostess on her cheeks.

"Shut up, bitch, just shut up. I want this plane back to the airport, I want to meet Chad, I want him to tell me that everything I saw on the internet is fake," tears started dropping from her eyes. "It has to be fake, if this plane is not taken back to the airport, I swear I will just jump off this stupid plane! Are you people so dumb and stupid to understand this? I see everyone in this country is stupid and dumb." Tiana did not know that her coursemates were recording everything on their phones, even her friend Rita was recording her, and there was a wicked grin on her face. Tiana did not know that what she was doing now might ruin her life later.

"Okay, ma'am we will inform the pilots just please take your seat." The hostesses begged her and Tiana calmed down a little.

"I am not taking my seat unless this stupid jet is turned around, don't you guys understand? Or are you all too dumb to understand that I need this damn jet in Duban International Airport?"

After all the tantrums Tiana threw on the jet, somehow the pilots turned the plane around, and back to the airport.

Tiana did not even care about her luggage, she did not care about anything at this moment, she just wanted to see Chad, she just wanted to hear him say that it was untrue, that he did not even know the girl, that he loved her.

As soon as they landed back at the airport she tried calling him but he was not answering his calls.

"Chill, Tiana why are you making a fuss over it," Rita tried to calm Tiana down, she had never seen Tiana this angry, this sad, this nervous and this confused.

"I don't have time for this Rita, if you're coming with me, fine, if you want to stay behind fine," Tiana said tersely and Rita smirked.

"Tch. I guess I'll come with you."

"Okay, I'd go home first so that I can get the castle pass because we can not enter the castle and see Chad without that pass," Tiana told Rita and Rita sighed.

"Do whatever you want to do Tiana, I'll just follow you."

They boarded a taxi to Tiana's house, throughout the drive a lot of things went through Tiana's mind, a part of her believed what she saw on the internet while a part of her did not believe. She was deeply in love with Chad, he made her feel so special and loved. She had planned for her she would have sex with him when she came back from the excursion, how she would cuddle with him on her bed, and she wanted him to be always close to her, she was a shy person but Chad made her more confident. They had just been dating for weeks now, but those weeks felt like years, Chad was the only person that she had dated, the only person that she had loved this way. She was not ready to lose him!

The taxi dropped them in front of her house and she came down with the speed of light, and Rita paid the taxi driver since Tiana did not care to pay him.

"Tiana, I'm sure that Chad will never cheat on you his bigger than that and he loves you," Rita pretended to show concern for Tiana but on the inside, she was laughing at her.

"I know, I know, I just want him to tell me that it is just a rumour and it is untrue, that he still loves me and no one else."

They found the entrance door to her house slightly open and she heard some noises coming from inside the house.

She opened the door slowly and walked to the living room with her body quite shaky, Rita followed her from behind.

"Harder, harder," she heard someone say followed by moans. It was coming from the living room. Slowly she started to realize what was happening, her heart started pounding and her lips turned dry.

She paled when she came into the living room and saw Kirsten on Chad, almost naked on the couch. Chad's mouth on her neck and his hands on her behind.

"What's going on?" Tiana stammered. "Kirsten?"

Kirsten turned and her eyes met Tiana's own, suddenly shame and guilt overwhelmed her. She quickly got up from Chad and Chad surprisingly turned.

An evil grin crept into his face when his eyes met with Tiana's.

"What do we have here?" He said through his teeth, smiling mischievously and there was a glint of curiosity in his eyes, he wanted to see what was going to happen next. "Looks like things are about to get interesting."
