It was evening, and currently, there was rain and thunderous sounds outside. Meanwhile, inside a mansion, a tall man was appearing to be middle-aged, with an average build, black hair, golden bangs, and a black goatee.

The man is currently sitting on a couch, and he was holding a baby.

"Yare Yare, what should I do with you now?" Azazel muttered. "Sigh...I suppose I will take care of you now. I don't know why I thought of that but whatever." he said nonchalantly.

Meanwhile, the baby he was holding suddenly opened its eyes, showing a Scarlet-colored eye. Azazel was surprised upon seeing the eyes of the baby, it was not the usual eyes of a normal baby.

This one seemed to contain wisdom, the baby stared at Azazel for a bit before giggling. The giggle brought Azazel out of his thoughts. He once again looked at the baby before smiling.

"Haha, I like you, little guy. Alright, I will take care of you and I will train you to become strong in the future. You're very blessed as you've got an immense amount of mana." Azazel said while looking at the baby who returned a small smile like it understood what Azazel said.

"Looks like you're also smart eh...Alright, from now on your name will be Raizel. Your full name is Cadiz Etrama Di Raizel, it was written in a letter on the basket you were in."

Meanwhile, our mc which is the baby was currently thinking. 'So this is Azazel... But Raizel huh...I guess it fits and I like the name. So I will take his name too. Looks like this is the start of my new life. Once again, thank you, Lord [A].'

And that's how Raizel met Azazel who took him in.

Underworld, Grigori's Library~

Inside the library in Grigori, there is a boy with black hair and scarlet eyes who is currently reading a book. He was currently seated in a chair with a table in front of him.

On top of the table, there is a pile of books. There are also other people in the library but no one was near the boy. The people in the library was just looking at the boy from afar, most of them have curiosity or fondness on their face when they look at the boy.

'I see, so that's how it works.' The boy or more specifically, Raizel thought. It has been 6 years since he reincarnated in this world.

Some things happened during the past 6 years. Raizel grew up, and when he was 3 years old, Azazel taught him things about the supernatural as Azazel thought it would be better for Raizel to know the truth about their world early.

Azazel also taught him things like magic or magic control. Of course, Raizel wasn't taught advanced spells like teleportation. He was also hailed as a prodigy due to how fast he learned things.

Azazel often boasts about Raizel as the former treated him like a son. Of course, Raizel got quite a reputation in Grigori because of that. He was also close to the cadres.

He doesn't know the reason though, maybe he got "Raizel's" charisma. But he didn't think much of it as he focused more on how to get stronger. Also over the years, he spent here, he developed a mix of serious yet sometimes childish personalities, very confusing I know.

And after 3 years when he started his magic training, he already learned many things. And now, he was just reading a book about a topic he was curious about. It was senjutsu and touki, he was interested in it due to his Aura. Touki was closely similar to the Aura from Noblesse, and Senjutsu is just a bonus.

"Hmm...so in summary, Touki is controlling one's life force and using it to create an aura around the user. It's basically Aura which I can use but, its use is not as versatile as Aura." Raizel concluded after reading the book about touki.

It was the truth, Aura has more applications than Touki. The former can be utilized like touki to enhance the body. But there are also other applications of Aura like using it to actively attack. While Touki is certainly powerful as well, it's mainly a support type of power as it focuses on enhancing the overall body or weapons.

"As for senjutsu... it's certainly an interesting way to use life force. There are some interesting uses for it. Sadly, most of its uses can also be done by Aura so it doesn't have much use to me." Raizel muttered, what he said was true.

While senjutsu is very versatile if used correctly, he can already do what senjutsu can do using his Aura. And the fundamental thing about his powers is based on his life force, he can easily manipulate it at will.

In other words, he can easily use either Toukiord Senjutsu if he wanted. Though it may not help him much, there is a use of senjutsu which he was very interested in.

Among the techniques in Senjutsu is a transformation technique, which allows the user to make themselves grow into an older state through using methods such as gathering natural ki.

"Hm... let's go to the training room for this." Raizel then stood up and used telekinesis to carry the books he read and returned them to where he got them.

After that, he went to the training room, but he was surprised upon arriving there as there was no one there currently. Usually, people were training inside so he was surprised to see no one currently there.

'Maybe they were busy? But it's perfect for me as no one can disturb my training.'

After that, he then started to try and use senjutsu. Although he doesn't have a teacher for senjutsu, Raizel was sure he can use it effectively.

As mentioned previously, he can easily feel his own life force which is the fundamental thing in how senjutsu works. So with that, he focused on controlling his life force which is also called ki.

After some time, he was now covered in a scarlet aura. And no, it is not his Aura but it's Touki which is a technique that can be utilized by a senjutsu user meaning Raizel succeeded.

"Hmm...Now let's try using senjutsu further to try that transformation technique." But then a frown appeared on his face, "So this is why it was said to use senjutsu in caution. The malice in the world certainly can taint a being if they are not careful."

'Looks like, I will not use senjutsu for now. I need to think of a way to filter the malice first before I can use it properly.' He thought before stopping. He then just did his usual magic training.
