Chapter 107 - Halestone Town, a mining town

Third person POV

 And so, Azalea and the twin dragon girls are in a spark of rivalry against each other for Russell, much to Russell's dismay. But the three girls are causing noise in his room, so Russell tells them to get out of his room if they want to fight. Azalea, Rai, and Ria heard that and did so, going outside. As Russell stood up and closed the door, the three girls were still making quite a noise while fighting outside in the hallway, and this annoyed Russell more. So, to silence them and their fight down, Russell opened the door and said to them, "That's it. Whoever is going to make me a tasty meal will sit next to me during breakfast time."

The three girls heard that and were willing to accept it, going downstairs while competing with each other on who was going to make a tasty breakfast for him.

Seeing that made Russell sigh in relief because it was now quiet like a library.

And then, Nathan and Kelly opened their doors and asked Russell what was all that noise.

Then, Russell revealed to them what had happened recently this morning.

This stunned Nathan and Kelly, and Kelly commented, "Wow, my own lovely kids actually had fallen for you."

 "Yeah, they did," Russell responded back.

John then woke up from his sleep and came out of his little spot under Russell's desk while stretching like a dog.

 Later, while Russell, Nathan, John, and Kelly are at the dining table, Azalea, Rai, and Ria are in the kitchen cooking breakfast for Russell while still trying to compete with each other. Their levels in cooking varied: Azalea was very good, while Rai and Ria were mediocre and bad. Then, a bit later, the three of them presented their dishes to Russell. Rai's dish is a burnt dish of roasted potatoes with cheese on it. Ria's dish is a nice and average dish of pan-fried toast with caramelized sugar and a side of fried, sunny-side-up egg. But Azalea's is a very nice and presentable dish of 2 slices of fried ham with a side of fried, sunny-side-up egg and some sliced tomatoes and cucumbers.

This made Rai and Ria jealous.

Russell, however, decided to pick Ria's dish and get some from Azalea's and Rai's to appease them all, much to their chagrin.

Azalea was upset that she lost.

Nathan and the others, meanwhile, decided to take the rest from her and Rai's dishes to try to cheer them up.

Rai was happy that she could also sit next to Russell alongside Ria.

Azalea was upset still but has to accept it and sit down to eat her meal.

 Later, after breakfast, all of them dressed up for another day of adventure and prepared their equipment and weapons. Azalea prepared her potions, which were made by her for the past week. Russel prepared his sword and other things he will need along the way later. So, after all that, all of them hopped into Russell's bus and left the estate as Marcel bid them farewell and good luck for their new day of adventure.

Later on, all of them went to Fort Right's Inner District, as a routine for Russell, to pick up any potential passengers. Russell's first destination for today is Halestone Town, which was located in the eastern side of the Southern Plains in its Principality of Jaleno. And then, 10 passengers hopped in because they will be going to Halestone Town for a variety of reasons.

 So, by 8:10 a.m., Russell closed the door and drove his bus out of Fort Right and towards Halestone via a paved road. The drive took 45 minutes, and traffic are barely a thing. The drive also involved going across the kingdom from east to west and through the plains. As a result, the bus arrived at Halestone Town at 8:50 a.m., much to the passengers' surprise. The town was a mining town, and it was located at a mountainside with Batela's mountain range, the Queva Mountain Range.
