Clare and her family returned home safely. Clare's face looks gloomy like a sulking cat.
Of course sulking!
Clare thought her parents would take her to Clare's favorite restaurant to fill her rumbling stomach. But she had to wait a very long time on the way and past the restaurant Clare was going to. Apparently the restaurant they were referring to was home. Especially after hearing the word boring chicken soup, Clare couldn't help but frown all day.
Just got home. Clare really wants to eat her favorite pasta or BBQ even if it's cooked at home. She thought today was a special day like the other students, but it seemed to be the same. It was different when she left the house.
Clare sat in her usual chair. In front of her is chicken soup and beef eye eggs. Has her family's income decreased since Clare's departure? Clare thinks no, the proof is that her parents still regularly feed her chocolate every month. Moreover, their company is on the rise, it is impossible to go bankrupt that fast.
"Today's cooking as is. I arrived late to the supermarket and it turned out that everything was closed and sold out. It looks like there will be a big party and buying food products," said Marine.
"Who's at the party?" Clare wondered.
"Looks like a party for royalty." Marine guessed.
"What was the party like?" Clare was sure it wasn't like every month's party at the academy. She had only just heard of this, so had no idea.
"A party where nobles gather. We as ordinary people, are not allowed to enter unless there is a special invitation or become servants. This early summer party can be said to be very luxurious and festive, unlike any party we have ever encountered."
"Is it like in the Disney series?"
"Possible. Only the lucky ones can visit. It's useless anyway. Their views of ordinary people are so low. Even though we are rich people, status is still more important to them."
"Isn't that cruel?" Clare doesn't like that kind of concept. At first Clare was curious and occasionally wanted Blaire to invite her, but she immediately withdrew because of the treatment her roommates had treated her with in the past.
To calm the topic, Clare shared a story about school. Clare shares her ups and downs at the academy as well as about her friends and her studies. Clare told her in as much detail as she could about Louis bullying her. Except about his mistake in taking out Vrochis and about that obscure mission.
If she said that, of course they would feel anxious and lecture the careless Clare. Of course Clare will not be sent to school there again and sent to Korea, again and again, The last time Clare was sent was when she caused a stir at a JHS school for her mistake in blowing up the lab. It was such a bad thing and Clare promised not to like it. But now he instead released the most feared monster and let it go free, could she be sentenced to death.
Clare was looking for trouble just out of curiosity. That's why she became a writer to get out everything she was facing and forget about it. It was the suggestion of her aunt who lives in Korea.
"Clare, I have a question. What's your relationship with the two Orlanes?"
Clare choked at that. She should have known that the Marines would question it. Getting into a noble's car was a very rare thing unless there was something important to discuss.
"They're my friends," Clare replied patting her chest. "How did you know them?"
"It was predictable. The Orlanes have always been the best." Marine complimented them. She seemed to be a big fan of them, unlike Clark who looked normal. "Clare, how did you get close to them?"
"They are in the same dorm as me. The first one you see is my senior."
"How can it be in the same dorm as seniors?"
"Just a coincidence. I was transferred from the 1st class dormitory. At first I was in the same dorm as a boy, the second you saw after that was the first."
"My Clare is very lucky."
Lucky what? Precisely because of that Clare felt tortured every day. If it's like this, it's better in Korea.
"Mom, why did you..." Clare was surprised.
"She used to like the Orlane family disciples, it's just that they were too cold." Clark immediately answered.
"No wonder, it's derivative. But Gavin? Cheerfulness like that is not typical of what dad said. Whose child is it?" Clare mumbled to herself. Apparently Clare had forgotten what Jules said about Gavin.
Lunch was over and Clare packed her things and carried them to her room. Together with Marine, she tidied her room back to the way it was with her cute things.
Inside the house, Clare is forbidden to use her abilities and everything must be done normally like a normal human. That's the first rule and applies to all residents and even visitors. Marine's eyes were so meticulous when she saw someone using some abilities, even Clare couldn't move.
This rule was made by the Marine herself, because her ability is tracking and she is a perfectionist in many ways. Nothing should interfere with her observant eyes. Even the lost objects she can find in an instant thanks to her abilities, Clare's disappearance is also immediately known. So no one dared to run away or sneak up.
Clark has the power of speed overpower. All things he could do so fast as if he had slowed down time. Back when Clare was almost late for elementary school, Clark drove her at lightning speed without getting drunk and arrived in seconds.
Clare is proud of her parents. In contrast to Clare who is slow and clumsy. Don't know why she's the opposite of her parents.
Don't think Clare is an adopted child!
Actually Clare inherited her Granny, Adoria, and everything Clare had belonged to the careless Arodia. Except for the power.
"Clare, how did you get to the same dorm as seniors?" Again, the question was asked by Marine who was still dissatisfied. Clare had to find a way to answer that without being too honest if she didn't want to be brought to Korea.
Folding clothes, Clare replied, "Academy head is hard to guess. Maybe it's because my strength is second only to him."
"After who?" Mom asked.
"Orlane ... Luke Orlane." Clare answered awkwardly.
"So his name is Luke Orlane. He looks like him." She said and Clare just confirmed what Marine said. Don't know who Marine meant, maybe his father.
"Mom, is Orlane that famous?" asked Clare.
"Nobody knows about them. The world's number one aristocrat, power, wealth, and visuals are unmatched." Marine was bragging again.
"How could it not be matched?" Clare couldn't believe it. "What's more than Jeff Bezos?" Jeff Bezoz is the CEO of Amazon, the richest man in the world.
"You said about the outside world, when compared to this world it is superior to this world. Of course they are more powerful." Marine denied whether it was true or not.
But they are family, not individuals. That's what Clare thought. I don't know since when Marine's mind became irrational when he brought up Orlane's words.
"Clare, do you have a special relationship with Orlane?"
Clare widened her eyes. Can Marine usually say that when Clare just came home as if Clare had really changed. Of course Clare didn't like that statement.
"Clare is still the same as before, unchanged. It's just an increase in abilities and thoughts." Clare denied that she didn't accept it.
Marine face looks sullen. She seemed to really like them like an actress as if she had other motives. Surprisingly Marine seems to really like them, but Clark looks the opposite for whatever reason. How could the boys at the academy not like them including Clark? The complete opposite of women.
"Mom, why doesn't Dad like them?" Clare's question made Mom stunned. I don't know what she's keeping secret, Mom looks stiff at Clare's question.
"Dad has his own problems, not related to you or anyone else. You don't need to know."
"That's exactly what I'm curious about." Clare paused. "Or don't. Luke's Mommy is Dad's ex!" Clare guessed carelessly until a smack landed on her forehead.
"Don't know too much. We don't even know who the woman you're talking about is." Marine looked even more sullen.
Clare rubbed her forehead. "Then what's the problem Dad?"
Mom sighed. "You don't even have a lover already asked."
"Well, right. Luke's Mom ex-Dad." Clare got Mom to talk.
"No! You think she's the only woman in that family?" In the end Marine slipped out.
Clare smiled triumphantly. Apparently Clark once had a relationship with their family member. No wonder his face looked gloomy and silent, usually the most cranky. Now it's the opposite.
Marine left feeling irritated. Now Clare is happy to beat Marine by a landslide. Usually she has always lost many times since she was a child, apparently today was the opposite of her usual day.
