Chapter 1I am Peter Parker?

I am currently on a bus full of teenagers and I must say I don't enjoy this at all.

"Status" I say in a barely audible whisper

[Name: Peter Parker(Soren)

Abilities:

[Appraisal] Scans for abilities

[Mind Shield] Grants immunity to mind manipulation abilities(this version doesn't affect emotions or give any other advantages like eidetic memory)

[DNA Lock] Body DNA cannot be observed or used by any other entity than the Host

[Anti-Trap] Nothing can trap you, can get out of any possible trap instantly.

[Soul Attack Immunity] Immune to soul attacks and manipulations from other entities

[Resurrection] Resurrected instantly after death to any location of choice that the host has been to before. Can also Resurrect others(cannot be spied/observed by any entity during the process of resurrection) It is recommended to resurrect at a safe place. Doesn't affect aging.

[Age manipulation] Host can alter the age of yourself or others. ]

The only good thing in my....current life is that I have these abilities. At least I won't have to worry about dying in this crazy world. Also, I think I can be immortal now! Ain't that nice. But the problem is that I have reincarnated in the body of Peter Parker.

Now I won't follow the example of those fanfic MCs that try to become the strongest. Why? Well because I don't really have the risk of dying do I? But I think I should try to get powerful steadily too so that I don't die too frequently as that would be annoying.

Also, I noticed that this world is some kind of AU because in this world both Aunt May and Ben Parker are dead. Shocking right? I was shocked too, it turns out that the robbery accident happened last year when Peter(or I) was 14 years old, and shortly after Uncle Ben died, Aunt May died too after getting a heart attack from hearing this news.

It's sad really...and my memories of Peter make me sad about it too but I am coping with it. Mostly because of getting my past life's memories back which dampens the sad feeling.

Anyways it seems that Peter has been given the house and the money left behind by Aunt May and Uncle Ben and he has been living alone since. It's fine by me. Although I shouldn't be feeling this I feel a bit of relief in a corner of my mind because I won't have to pretend to be their nephew.

The life Peter has had has been good so far and he has been feeling better with the help of his only friend MJ. Harry used to be his friend but ever since his father Mr. Osborn started praising Peter they have grown distant due to Harry's jealousy. Which doesn't bother me anymore even though it did bother the old Peter.

I feel so free. I can't die now, I can live a safe quiet life if I want, I can play hero, find love, have fun doing fun experiments with the help of my now genius-level IQ or I can play a villain as well but I have an aversion to gore so I guess I can't do it seriously anyways.

In a few words, I am happy about having this second life and am currently having thoughts about just quitting school. I decided not to do so because later if I want to do some profession that I might fancy and they find out that I don't have a high school degree then it's going to be annoying. I could get documents forged like I have heard some people do in the real world but I don't like that way of gaining qualifications because I doubt anything that is gained without hard work.

There are always downsides to every evil act. If you forge documents then there is always a possibility of getting caught later down in life and I am honestly afraid of going to jail because of all the stories I have heard of how it affects people's life forever in any future job or social life.

So this brings me back to the present where I am on the bus.

A ball of scrunched-up paper impacted my head from behind, followed by sounds of loud laughter from the back. I glance back to see The Flash Thomson, the famous bully of peter-my life, I had realized earlier on that with being peter I would have to face him too.

For now, I ignore him, it isn't wise for me to react to his taunts. What can he do anyway, just beat me up in the most extreme case? Well, I will just let him. Why would I stand up to him right now? He is big, bulky, and muscled while I am scrawny with a thin frame.

Thankfully, I look like Andrew Garfield from Amazing Spider-Man, so my looks are above average. Really, if my body had stat distribution then I would reckon the majority of stats must have gone to int. This reminds me that to get spider powers I would have to get bit by it. Great! another reason to go to this stupid school ~haa~

Thankfully those guys stopped after a few more paper balls because we had reached Midtown High.

Welp~ let's get this over with so I can go home and have some time to myself. I mentally encouraged myself and got off the bus and walked towards the entrance after mixing in the crowd to escape from the Flash gang.

Marvel: Monkey King

Jack Hou was many things—a Triad lieutenant, a street-smart hustler, and an absolute menace to society. He ran Chinatown with a grin, picked fights like they were a hobby, and somehow thrived off pure madness and raw talent. That was, until he got riddled with bullets at his boss’s wedding trying to protect the bride. Dying? That sucked. Waking up twenty years in the past, in a new body, new world, and somehow even more broke than before? That sucked harder. Now trapped in the streets of 2002 New York, Jack is back to square one—hungry, penniless, and wanted by nobody. But things take a turn for the weird when an old man from K’un-Lun picks him up and claims he has the body of an immortal sage, destined to change fate. Jack’s response? “Yeah, nah. Sounds like effort.” Forced into martial arts training, qi cultivation, and unlocking his true potential, Jack has zero plans to follow orders. Instead, he does what he does best—run his mouth, break the rules, and cause absolute chaos. But when he starts awakening strange abilities, growing stronger than a normal human should, and attracting the attention of ancient forces, Jack realizes—maybe this isn’t just a second chance at life. Maybe he’s something more than human. Maybe… he was never human to begin with. Crazy fights, unhinged banter, and a monkey with no chill— Jack Hou is about to turn the Marvel world upside down, one bad decision at a time. Marvel: Ned the Master of Mystic Arts

A smart teenager from our universe wakes up in the Marvel Universe as Ned Leeds, Spider-Man's best friend. But this isn’t the Ned you think you know. In his original world, he was a die-hard Marvel fan. He had seen every movie, binge-watched every series, and delved deep into the lore of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). Armed with an intricate knowledge of the future, he begins to subtly manipulate events in this universe, steering them toward a perfect future—one where the tragedies and heartbreaks of the Marvel universe can be avoided. When fate introduces him to the Mystic Arts, the world quickly realizes that Ned is far more than just comic relief. Even the Ancient One has to admit, "I was wrong—Ned is the best among us." With the Cloak of Levitation practically begging to stay by his side and powerful sorcery flowing through him, Ned becomes a rising star in the Marvel universe. His adventures don’t stop there. With his newfound abilities, Ned discovers the secrets of the multiverse and begins traveling across dimensions. From solving problems in alternate realities to mending broken worlds, Ned takes on challenges that even seasoned heroes wouldn’t dare to face. As he hops between universes, he learns the complexities of destiny, morality, and the weight of wielding such power. By knowing how events play out in the movies and series he once adored, Ned finds himself in a unique position to rewrite the timeline. Whether it’s nudging heroes like Tony Stark, Doctor Strange, or Thor to make better decisions or preventing devastating events like the Snap before they happen, his interventions slowly reshape the course of history. But with great knowledge comes great responsibility, and Ned soon realizes that altering the timeline is more complicated—and dangerous—than he could have imagined. Things aren’t all smooth sailing, though. After his dramatic glow-up—both in terms of magic and physique—his relationships start to shift. Even Wong can’t help but notice the peculiar way people glance at him now. "Ned’s a great guy, really. But after the weight loss… I can’t explain it, but something’s different." With humor, heart, and a heap of magical mishaps, Marvel: Ned the Master of Mystic Arts reimagines Ned Leeds as a master of mystic arts, juggling friendships, rewriting timelines, traveling through dimensions, and reshaping the chaotic Marvel universe.
