Immortal Simulation
Dalvin is a young man who spends his time working on art commissions for online clients while trying to improve his declining fitness. In order to quell his boredom, he downloads a strange mobile app called 'Path of Heaven,' advertised as a free Eastern fantasy-style game with great immersion. However, upon creating his character, an accident occurs, and Dalvin ends up awakening a space/time element physique, which causes him to be dragged into the world of 'Path of Heaven,' known as Tianzi! With his life at stake and only the ability to simulate a certain amount of time into the future, he must navigate his way through this dangerous and cutthroat cultivation world!

This also made Dalvin decide to stop his breakthrough process, not because of any procrastination or laziness, but simply because he realized that there was no point in rushing. As it were, the way was blocked by the Cheshire cat anomaly, so he could not leave the prison until daytime.
To leave the prison, he would need to simulate a lot to make sure he escaped successfully and wasn't killed by other anomalies within the city. Feng Qi painted a small picture for him through his details in the notebook, so Dalvin had an idea of what he would encounter when he exited.
But to do that, he would at least need Houtian level power and a certain amount of Internal Breath for security. Dalvin's confidence for escaping came from simulation and the ability to blink which could help him immensely, and obviously the main fact that he wasn't marked.
