Immediately Alaric left the vicinity, he created a concealment array around himself. The guards who were watching him leave saw him disappear and wiped the sweat from their forehead. They could not beleive that they almost provoked a god.
Alaric knew the safest place at the moment was the forest. Even though there was a limit to how far they could go because of their cultivation, it was still going to be difficult to find them. He was using his top speed combining both wind and lightning.
It was just a matter of time before they knew that they had been played. He entered the forest and went to the cave he had killed the hyena. He set some alert arrays on the entrance of the cave and concealed the cave to disappear.
Aurora was seated on the the ground leaning on the wall. It was approaching midnight already.
"You can alert your father now. That is our only hope," Alaric said to Aurora.
Aurora removed a necklace which appeared to be half of a pendant from her neck and crushed it. It produced a red vapour which dissipated in thin air. She watched the serious look in his face. 'He must be thinking what happens ten steps ahead.' She thought.
"How did you manage to use that lightning. I thought that your lightning breed is silver?" Aurora asked.
"I am the lightning god. Weak though. I used the awakening crystal to awaken my manifestation. I was just lucky that red lightning struck." Alaric said.
Now that he thought of it, the chances of red lightning appearing during his manifestation was zero. This could only mean that this was exactly as he had anticipated in his past life. He was getting irritated though.
The fact that his life now was all scripted did not sound good to him. At least he wanted to control his own fate. Even though it was him in the last life who had prepared these special events, he wanted to be in control.
He cursed as he thought of the next move. Their pursuers were all in the Salvia Plane. They were only in the in early stages of the Cryptic Plane. Their odds of getting out of here safe were less than 1%.
There were also powerfull array experts after them. This was to mean that the concealment arrays could not work infront of them. He cursed. Even the alerting arrays on the entrance would only sell them off.

In the Royal Capital. In the Fourth Prince's room. The Fourth Prince was not welcome for the banquet. Only the First Prince was. He was laying on his bed thinking of his daughter.
He could not help but wonder just how far she had grown. He smiled knowing that he was keeping his promise to his wife to keep their daughter happy. He had experts to watch over her and was sure she was safe.
He added wine to his glass amd gulped it down at a go. He was about to refill it again when he felt a burning on his chest. He removed the necklace and saw the other missing part of the necklace merge.
His hands trembled and the glass broke. The entire room shook and the table vibrated dropping the glass wine bottle. The chandelier on the ceiling shook and fell next to him. The glass windows shook and shattered.
The tiled floor cracked. The wardrobes opened. The entire palace was in chaos as they wondered what was happening. That no normal earthquake. The Fourth Prince clenched his hands as he took a step that left a footprint.
The tiles were blown away. He lowered his body and the floor was destroyed even further. He then leaped in the air making a hole on the roof. He knew that if he flew at top speed, he would reach the Origin region by morning.
That was too long. Even space elementalist could not take him that far and it would still be too late. The necklace he had given her would alert the other member if the person was about to die.
He was breaking the rules by flying. No one ws allowed to fly in the city. He did not care as he flew even faster heading outside the city. Infront of him, was the first prince with hands folded on his chest.
"You can't stop me brother," The Fourth Prince said as he went past his brother.
"You must be over your head thinking that you could escape me," the First Prince said laughing like he had heard a joke.
"If you hurt my daughter, you should count yourself dead," the Fourth Prince said his eyes getting cold.
"What do you think you can do. Even if you flew at twice your speed, you would still be too late," the First Prince said.
"You know, after what you did six years ago, I have been preparing for the day I would get stronger and have my revenge. You don't want to test my true power now," the Fourth Prince said.
The First Prince had a change of expression. Could it be that their youngest brother was hiding his cultivation level?
" Nice teasing I give you that but I will repeat that I am not the one behind your wife's death. Actually it was father who asked me to stop you," the First Prince said.
The Fourth Prince had a complicated look. Going against his father was the same as defying an Emperial Decree. At the same time, his daughter could probably be dead.
"You know I can't defy the Emperor. But I also made a promise I cannot break. Tell father I will take any punishment after I get back," the Fourth Prince said.
"I wish I could defy father's will like you but I have my hands tied by the law. Forgive me if I use unnecessary force," the First Prince said. The Fourth Prince was about to fight the First Prince when someone came charging at them at a blinding speed.
He stopped beside them and bowed.
"General Morris, you should not get involved," the Fourth Prince said to him.
"I owed my life to your wife. I always feel guilty for failing to protect her. I know that Young Miss is in danger and you can't leave. I request you command me to go rescue her," General Morris said bowing.
Maybe if they were on the ground he would have been on his knees.
" I hate to put my responsibility as a father on you. I fulfil your request and command you to bring Aurora to me alive." The Fourth Prince gave his order.
The First Prince smiled when he saw his brother. He could feel their father's aura coming from him. He watched as General Morris flew outside the city. He smiled at the fact that some of their men could only take orders from the Fourth Prince.
The two went back to the palace. The banquet was still ongoing but it had been disrupted by the Fourth Prince's action.

A dark cloud engulfed the whole city and thunder rumbled. Everyone saw red lightning strike at the gate. Then, the array was triggered.
"Someone has left the city. It must be them," Tracy spoke to the communication device in her hand. The receiver had pink hair. Joan. She was the one incharge of the array around the city.
" Let's head towards the gate," she replied and removed another separate communication devices.
This one was connected to the rest of the gang.
"Assemble at the gate now all of you!" She said with an angered tone. She arrived at the gate and found the rest of the masked guys were all assembling one by one. In one minute, a total of thirty had assembled.
There were four unmasked people. Two of them were men and the others were Tracy and Joan. The men were in the late stages of the Salvia plane. Joan and Tracy were both in the middle stages. The rest of the gang were all in the early stages of the Salvia Plane.
"Why did you let them leave?" Joan asked them.
"We have let no one leave. It was only a god who threatened to kill us. We have been on guard and no one else has passed here," one of the guards reported.
"So that was the power of a god?..." Joan asked in deep thoughts. She then started laughing like a tyrant. Everyone thought that she had gone mad at the mention of a god. They were glad for they all knew how frightening the presence of the god was.
"Yes. We dared to stop him and he threatened to destroy the city if we dared stop him again." The other guard who had peeied himself said.
" I think I lost conciousness when I saw that he was about to destroy the city. I feel lucky that am still alive," the speaker had a feminine voice.
" I saw him disappear infront of my eyes," the first guard said.
