And went in their midst. I meet their boss and face him squarely.

"Let her go!. I said firmly.

The girl quickly scrambled to my legs and held me tightly. She was shivering.

"Come back here you cheap slut!. The boss roared and made to drag her. I quickly swung my fist at him.

The stupid boys came at me and fell back immediately they tried to hit me. Within a short period of time they were all on the floor writhing in pains.

"Do you still want her? I asked the leader while approaching him.

"No no we don't want her, we don't even know". He screamed while trying to get away from me.

"The next time I see you trying to harm her I will make sure you won't have kids in the future. Do I make myself clear?

"Yes sir ! They chorused.

"Good now get out from here". They all quickly scrambled to their feets and ran for their dear life.

I turned to continue my journey back to the market when I felt that my legs became stuck.

"Huh?. I turned and saw the girl holding on to the hem of my trousers, she was shaking like a rain beaten chick.

"You are free to go they won't disturb you anymore".

"Th.thank you sir". She said while trying to kowtow.

"No it's fine". I said and stopped her from kowtowing.

"How do I repay you? She asked.

"Don't worry my service is free of charge". I said and made her to stand up.

"No I can't let you go without giving you anything". She said.

"Don't worry I won't label you a bad person for not paying back okay?. I tried pacifying her so that I can continue my journey the day was getting late.

"How about a lunch? She pleaded.

"Okay fine. Where's the location?.

"At my house my mom will want to see and thank you".

"Okay where's your house?. I asked her.

She Finally released me after she gave me the direction amd made me promise to be there tomorrow noon.

I already knew that she was a local courtesan who did her works in secret and try to appear as a pure maiden in the open. Who knows what she did to those boys that made them angry. Maybe she swindled them.
