Ileus spotted a dry patch of grass and set her down on her feet. He removed his shirt and spread it on the grass for her to sit. He pivoted himself in front of her and said, "I can't win this war, Ana."
She placed her hand on his cheek. He leaned into it and closed his eyes. His throat bobbed. He leaned forward and she leaned back, allowing him to hover over her. He slid his tongue over her jaw and nibbed her until he reached her pointy ears. "I was too distracted by these," he whispered as he nibbled them. "I had been dreaming of them the past seven days." Her body arched as she hummed in approval.
