9 Rabbit [2/2]

What did I want to write? Oh right, an excuse to explain a move of a psychopath which makes no sense by itself.

Despite, no, because of his usual 'gloomy', 'quiet' self, Shun is easily excited. Think of his action to be lazy with whatever he is uninterested in as an act to save his energy when he encounters something that he can play with his life in a case he found interesting.

Although I as an author rated Shun's intelligence as '5' which is an average, he's actually dumb because his ego (imagination 10) rules over his mind.

Instead of being entrapped with the final goal, which is 'to complete the rabbit course,' he divides the goal into many pieces.

Pass the burning stepping -> climb the floating island -> flexibly pass the wall of trees -> zig-zag onto the icy landing and return to the rabbit's side.

As I said before, Shun is easily excited, especially when his life is on line, that he feels truly alive. So... Sometimes, the final goal is excluded from his brain and his whole cells move for the current goal.

I thought this ex-... Explanation on-spot so don't mind it if this turned into a plot-hole later.

Shun opened his eyes only to feel a high-pitched cry from someone he feel never less familiar with.

"Uwaaah! Shun don't die~!! (´°̥̥̥̥̥̥̥̥ω°̥̥̥̥̥̥̥̥｀)" beside him, holding his healed hand was Fio. She was crying with a face he have never seen while shouting cries of wish as if his death was already a confirmed thing.

Although Shun has opened his eyes, Fio hasn't noticed it as her eyes were blurred with tears.

Suddenly, Shun's head ached.

'How long have I been sleeping...?' Shun thought while holding his pained head with his other hand.

Fio noticed the slight vibrant caused by Shun's movement, she realized that he was awake.

She strengthens her grip on Shun's hand and wailed. "I thought you died of heatstroke when you were sleeping in front of the door. Your body was so hot too!"

Shun was further confused. Then, he raised his body surprising Fio.

He noticed it the moment he woke up but all the burn scars have healed up he feels never better as now.

The only unfortunate thing was, that the 6 claw scar on his face didn't disappear. As for how his wounds healed, Shun didn't think too deeply about it. This was the OPM world he is living in any way.

Looking over Fio's face filled with tears, his sadomasochism side activated as he thought it was cute.

A month has passed and in a blink of an eye, it has already been two and a half months since Shun arrived in this world.

Shun didn't notice nor had an interest in it, but after being told by his manager in the workplace, he realized that he was actually what people call, handsome.

In front of the hellish rabbit course, Shun was stretching his body like Kid Goku before the fight.

After finishing his stretch, Shun went down four-legged as he ran forward without waiting for the rabbit's start call.

In a moment of instance, Shun's body accelerated into a flash of light landing on the burning stepping.

Once Shun's leg and finger touched the ground, the fires spread in all directions, and akin to the devil's footsteps, an empty spot formed out where Shun landed his ten fingerprints and two feet.

Shun's whole figure has vanished into darkness when the rabbit noticed it, he was already climbing heaven's stairs or whatever it is called.

After reaching the highest point, Shun tried jump-... Stopped his step and waited for the floating island to come over and deliver him to the bottom.

One thing Shun noticed while repeating this course is, that, including the pattern of the floating island, every stepping placed is changed daily.

Shun's jersey swayed after he jump off the elevator land.

The air spreads in eight directions and Shun landed instability. After enduring the impact that was divided into four limbs, Shun continued forward.

Another thing Shun noticed was this course provided more effect than he'd thought albeit he isn't sure why. On his first day when he started this training, he could barely pass the burning land.

But on the second day, his tolerance against heat has been strengthened to an unbelievable extent. He wasn't sure whether the result behind this was OPM World buff or his body was that genetically good because he never tried his hardest to exercise in his previous world.

In front of the dense wall of trees, Shun didn't back off and showed a flexibility that even the Snake Pillar of Demon Slayer would be shocked.

Bending his body and using the tree he just passed as a stepping to leap forward.

It was about the 28th day since starting this training, Shun soon found out that he was able to dislocate any joint as he will.

When he first dislocated his joint, it was on the 17th day and it hurt him like hell. After some practice, with some effort, he was finally able to dislocate any joint on the 28th day.

Then after that was easy. With some improvements, modifications, and human body googling (using Net Cafe), arriving at the present, he was now able to dislocate and reconnect any joint at will without an effort or time spent, as if moving his finger to do so.

Maybe someday in the future, if he was interested in it, he would try moving his organ to somewhere else inside his body.

Using his newly learned skill(?), Shun was able to pass the wall of trees.

Passing through the wall of trees was the land of thunders which Shun didn't bother crossing over and skipped to the ice land.

About the ice land, Shun was too concerned about the slippery floor, which caused Shun to completely disregard the freezing cold temperature the first time he entered this place.

Shun's first entrance to this place wasn't exactly of that pleasant memory. The cold air entered his mouth to his lungs, causing him more venerable to fatigue.

The air here was so heavy and spread out as well, causing the effectiveness of a single inhale or, an intake of oxygen to be deducted by 50%.

Just 20 seconds of running was already enough for him to breathe heavily. Moreover, the floor was slippery as well as a single loss of strength or inflicting mistake in strength causes him to slip into a boundless horizon.

Even now, Shun has no way to zig-zag as clean as the rabbit due to its slippiness.

Without a doubt, out of the four courses, excluding the thunder land, ice land was the hardest.

As ironic as it is, rather than the technique to balance oneself, tolerance to endure the burning pain, accuracy to control one's leaping strength, flexibility to control one's body at will.

The hardest among them was the technique to stay still/stop oneself, the force of inertia.

With heavy breathing, Shun kicks the ice stepping twice, to completely stop, not to hit the triangle and complete the zig-zag course.

Among five courses, the longest course was this one, the ice course, and the shortest one was the wall of trees course. Ice course was also the most tiring among all

Today marks the 1st month since Shun started this training and Shun felt greatly changed. Just a month. From something that seemed impossible, to somewhat hard but still doable.

Of course, at every finish, the fatigue still overwhelms Shun and he could never get used to it.

As he laid down in the pile of grass, surrounded by nature, something awoke inside Shun.

Regardless of the numerous animals secretly watching him or the rabbit running to be him the special herb liquid, Shun with heavy breathing said.

The single sentence that came out of his mouth was something even the person who said it didnkt expect.

"Ahhh~ *huff* *huff* I want a girlfriend."

A desire enough to rival the 'curiosity' has been made inside Shun's mind.

As the sentence instinctively came out of his mouth, even Shun couldn't help but stare at the space in front of him in astonishment.

'What... Did... I just say?' Shun widened his eyes in confusion.
