64. Alchemy.

The very next day I had managed to cultivate to gold rank with my Gedo statue. Still didn't have any customers as I believe they are waiting for the old man Ye Mo to come back.

I would love to go to the prison realm but I know there are legend rank people and higher there. So I don't plan on going until I'm at least legend rank just to be safe, I don't know the exact limits of my abilities in my Otsutsuki form but I would rather be safe then sorry. If I recall there was some god level old man or something who was insane in that place and I didn't want to chance running into him.

The blood crystal's that they have there are good for increasing body strength. But there were also a couple other unique items I was interested in. If I recall there was some throwing knives that could mentally be controlled and float around and those would be fantastic for the girls to have so I wanted to study them.

I mean I'm sure a ninja would kill for throwing knives that could be mentally controlled, hell I would too. Those things are fucking sweet. I mean I can do that now but i still want them.

Anyway I'm pretty sure they are all legend rank fighters and I don't know how fast or strong they are. I don't have too much to compare to besides Ye Zong and he is a spiritualist.

The new members of the group would now be coming along to train after classes if they could. I was pretty sure Ziyun was going to be banned from coming.

Considering that her father was the city lord after all. Seems he decided to keep away from me for the most part.

However on the 4th day I did have some visitors finally. A bunch of old men and a woman from the alchemist association had decided to come and visit.

"Welcome how may I help you?" I ask the group.

"We heard from the city lord that you have quite the selection of pills and elixirs for sale. Apparently they are better quality than what we produce?" The woman asks.

"Of course, that tablet right there has all the items we have for sale and how much better they are than what is produced in the city. Feel free to purchase one to give it a try, the ciry lord did the same and broke through legend rank with a single pill. It's very easy to use just use your finger and push on whatever catches your interest, then the back button on the top to return to the previous page." Its rather fun watching a butch of cultivators struggle with a tablet, maybe I should have Amelia make a sales book. Soon however they figure it out.

"This mentions a contract?" An older man asks.

"Yeah written with a soul contract, if you break the rules of the contract you die. Nothing too serious though just not belonging to the dark guils or working with the sacred family who works with the dark guild. That kind of stuff. I'm sure you guys are interested in knowing how most of the pills are made however even if you got the medicine and brought it back to the guild you couldn't replicate it." I explain lazily. I know why they are here after all, elixirs and pills are the life blood of the city and they probably want to try to replicate then for sales and to help the city.

"Why is that?" The woman asks. "My name is Yang Xin current director of the alchemy association by the way."

"Well Miss Xin, most of the pills here are created not only with ingredients that don't exist in this world, but they are also helped along with a specialized artifact that perfectly mixes them getting rid of 100% of the impurities. They also have sealing arrays on them to prevent theft. Those are mostly on the pills though, as for the elixirs? Good luck. I am so confident that you guys wont be able to figure out anything I'll give you free bottles to go back and test. Just the lower quality stuff though that you guys already have that I've made improvements too." I grin before grabbing various bottles and placing them on the counter.

If they can get past the seals, make the myriad liquid, acquire the specialized fruits I've used to replace some ingredients, perfectly mix them with zero impurities like the pearl. Then I'll get down on my knees and beg them to teach me how to do it. I have the knowledge of a tier 9 alchemist with a heavenly flame, the best they have here is a tier 4 alchemist at most.

Nie Li off to the side snorts. "Good luck." he was reading an improved alchemy manual I had thrown together. That just showed the basics of this world.

He was a high grade alchemist himself with hundreds of years of practice under his belt and couldn't pull off a quarter of the shit in the book. He had also tried to identify some of my medicines with his skills and came up with fucking nothing.

"Who are you?" Yang Xin asks curiously.

"Nie Li, member of the Heavenly Mark's family. His pills have been good enough to get me from 47 soul force all the way up to Gold rank 2 in 4 days. If you had anything close to what this guy can bring in minutes with years worth of work and the instructions in fron of your face I would applaud you. Personally I can only make up to tier 6 pills and elixirs, this guy can make tier 10 perfect pills with a wave of his hand." Nie Li says.

"Tier 6? But the highest in the alchemy association is tier 4 and he is the grand elder of the association!" Yang Xin says skeptically.

"Believe what you want, your out of your league little girl." He says with a side glance before returning to the book.
