A few weeks passed after Alan's kidnapping and things were back to normal, well… My boss was depressed for a few days until he turned his attention to other toys. Poor unlucky souls.

In other news my boss gave me new duties as punishment for ruining his fun.

Now my office additionally takes care of all the souls of interest that are marked by the gods for reincarnation, transmigration and even Isekai.

My work multiplied 10 times more than before. However... it's fun.

The atmosphere in the office is more lively than usual as I watch Alan being reprimanded by a very angry Tanya.

"Idiot, you confused the transmigration papers with those of reincarnation. That high school class should have transmigrated into teenage bodies in the DPL-774 world. But they were reincarnated and now they are babies, tell me Alan… How are they going to fight against the demon king as babies?" Tanya yells holding her head in frustration.

Yeah… just a normal day at the reincarnation office.

Two weeks ago

I find myself in my boss's office eating some snacks as he tells me the stories of his new victims "So this masked guy is an SSS class adventurer and he's super powerful, he saved the princess and now she's in love with him, but no one knows who is the person behind the mask" He says while laughing "It turns out that he is a young man despised by his family and the whole world for repressing his magic to level F, just because he does not want to attract attention"

"He is an idiot, it is very stupid to hide your power. What is the use of having power and not abusing it? when you can have it all, what a cliché. Why are you interested in that reincarnated?" Did losing Tanya affect him too much?

"Oh, that... Soon I will create some events to guide him to the path of darkness, I want to destroy that idiotic personality and drive him to despair" He says with a dark smile.

"You are a sadist… and I like that. Changing the subject, do you know where Tanya's soul went?"

"I still keep it in my possession, since that universe is my property, I can do what I want with those souls, erase them, recycle them or sell them to other gods, for their newly created worlds. I plan to erase Tanya's soul.

"I think I have a good idea what to do with that soul, you see the other day Alan was complaining about all the new paperwork we were getting," I tell him with a sly smile.

A big wicked laugh was all the clearance he needed.

Shortly after getting the authorization from my boss, he gives me Tanya's soul.

Now for the most tedious part, convincing a person you killed to work for you. I get to my office, take a seat and snap my fingers to summon Tanya's soul.

A Figure appears in the middle of the room kneeling breathing heavily

"Where I am? I died. I remember it very well "She says as she looks at me and her eyes widen even more" You killed me "She says now angry.

"Welcome, how about the dark?" I tell him while I laugh a little "I have a proposal for you" I tell him while resting my head against my hands.

"As hell I am" He says standing up

"It's that or send you to hell" I tell him with a smirk "And before you answer that you prefer hell, let me clarify that not only you will go to hell" A screen appears in the middle of the room with the images of his comrades fallen "They will all go to the worst hell because of you if you don't accept the deal, then Tanya your selfishness or your comrades?

"Let me explain before you get weird ideas, I need a secretary and Alan is really bad at managing paperwork, you'll have what you've always dreamed of... a secure job position" I can see his eyes light up a bit, before doubt reappears.

"What will happen to my comrades?"

"They will get a Reincarnation Plus package. They will be reincarnated in a peaceful world, a utopia, where they will live the life they want to live. But it all depends on you.

"What about Being X?" She asks with a look that promises pain.

"You should not worry about him, I take care of mine, so you are no longer under the whims of Being X." I tell him standing up and opening my arms dramatically "Now you will be under my whims."

I pull up a contract like I did with Alan in the beginning and hand it to him.

"I'm making a deal with the devil right?" Tanya asks as she starts reading the contract at incredible speed.

"Maybe," I hum as I walk around her. "I've been called a lot of things over time," I say as I bring my hand to my chin like I'm thinking. "But I like to be called Gil"

Tanya spends a few hours reading the entire contract, she's not as dumb as Alan to sign without reading.

In the end Tanya signs the contract, not that she has many options anyway.

"Excellent Tanya welcome to the Reincarnation Office." I tell him when the contract disappears from his hands, I have no need to sign it since his soul belongs to me.

"Some data that you have to take into account" As I begin to raise my fingers to enumerate.

"You will keep your current form, you will not age, after all souls do not age, you must follow my instructions to the letter, you will only take care of the paperwork"

"So I'll be stuck doing paperwork for eternity?" Tanya says resignedly.

"No, you can go to the outside world. I will give you a new identity, you will be as human as possible, you will have a salary and even a room available to sleep "I say as I think of the room Alan has available in his apartment.

"If you betray me you will go straight to hell" I tell him with red eyes giving a terrifying touch.

"I guess I have to call you boss now, right?" Tanya says sighing.

"Gil, call me Gil," I tell him with a million-watt smile. Things will be more interesting with this new addition. I can't help but think of all the chaos this will bring.

-Return to the present.-

I watch in amusement as Tanya hits Alan with some folders.

"Gil Help me, the psycho is out of control" Alan waves his hands to get my attention

"It's your fault for confusing the papers, now we have a god furious for having a demon king destroy his world and the heroes are babies" I tell him as I continue sorting souls.

Our flow of souls is now quite high as we are receiving souls from many departments.

This also means that we have to reduce the wishes that we grant to some reincarnations, not all of them are valid to obtain wishes, unless they are favored by a specific god, otherwise we would have several dozen turbo codes a week.

I finish reincarnating some random souls in a random world when suddenly I receive a message.

A smile appears on my face after reading the message

"We will have a VIP today"

"The last time we had a VIP I was kidnapped Gil" says Alan nervously

"Get over it Alan, you didn't get hurt"

"I just don't want to be in the same room as a god, they make me nervous," Alan says, holding his hands.

"Well if you want to avoid being in the presence of a god so much, you can have field work" I tell Alan handing him a sheet of paper and a device with a red button. "Naofumi Iwatani is your target, he must go through Isekai... make him press the red button at all costs and the job will be done, easy right? Go to that bookstore and you'll find it there."

"And don't screw it up Alan, sometimes I feel like you do it on purpose and I don't have time to rescue you again." I can see Alan's red face as he looks away from me.

"I will not fail" He says as he clenches his fists and disappears from the office.

"There is a 60% chance that it will fail on that task. Why did you send it?" Tanya asks me with a raised eyebrow.

"Excellent question Tanya and that is why you will go with him, follow him from afar and only intervene if necessary"

"Nowhere in the contract did it say I had to do field work." Tanya crosses her arms.

Now the office is completely silent. "How quiet" I say enjoying a few minutes of silence before the office door is flung open.

"Gil, is it true? Did you really get promoted? I came back from my world today and saw the news. Congratulations!" Says a rather peculiar boy, this is Ted a god. He just lunges at me and hugs me.

"Tet personal space, remember personal space." I tell him as I push him away a bit.

"How long have we not seen each other, Gil? 10, 20, 50, 100 years? He asks me in confusion.

"It's been a while, it's true. How are things in your world?" Change subject quickly.

"They're pretty stagnant, my humans are going extinct while the other races are taking over" Tet says dejectedly while looking at me with puppy dog eyes.

"I need your help Gil, to find the people to save my humans, you know how my game world works" Tec says grabbing me by the shoulders and shaking me with comical tears in his eyes.

"Okay, okay, I think I have an idea to place the best players, it might be fun after all." Tec's smile and a thumbs up was all the answer.

"Chess!" Tet shouts with his hands up, is he still obsessed with chess?

"Chess is boring Tet, I told you last time there is no thrill in moving pieces unless they were human"

"So how do you plan to get the people I need?" Tet asks with a finger to her mouth as if she doesn't understand.

I just snap my fingers and we're gone.

"World tournament? An award out of this universe? Sora, an 18-year-old boy, hums as he watches his sister as a smile spreads across both of their faces.

"Let's do it!" They yell in unison.

POV Alan

"Alan do this, Alan do that, Alan did you put him down to the toilet yet? Alan don't touch that...stupid Gil sometimes I feel like I'm a dog" I say shuffling with my head down and now a psycho girl who turns out to be a man, but now she is a girl. I scratch my head in frustration remembering that they both now live in my humble apartment.

I found my target before I reached the bookstore so I followed him for a while until he entered the bookstore.

The bookstore is unusually empty, I go up to the second floor where I saw the target heading and I don't see anyone on the second floor.

"Where is he?" I whisper softly.

"Were you looking for me? fucking pervert." I hear a voice behind me and hands curl around my neck, pinning me down.

"Now you will answer because you followed me... or things will get ugly" Naofumi says with a scary expression.

It's official my life sucks.

Unbeknownst to both of them, they were being watched by a Tanya who was calmly reading a novel, with a slight curve in her smile.
