Richard remained silent, his gaze fixed on what was in front of him.
"Richard?"
I patted his shoulder gently, trying to wake him up from whatever bad thing he was imagining.
And then I managed to hold Richard's body before the beach sand got his clothes dirty.
His pale face, along with his tightly closed eyes, seemed to tell me that he was not in a good condition.
"Don't scare me, Richard! Wake up, please!"
I patted his cheek gently repeatedly, trying to wake him up, but to no avail.
He still wouldn't open his eyes, no matter how hard I tried to wake him up.
I then looked around me, trying to find help. Unfortunately, maybe because this place wasn't a popular tourist spot, there wasn't a single human I could ask for help.
There were only a few stray dogs and cats, which I definitely wouldn't be able to ask for help with.
