#18 Karyn

Ishana and Syifa were at a cafe not far from their campus.

Both of them were busy chatting and discussing random things that came to their minds.

Occasionally both of them laughed at the other's words.

Until suddenly the atmosphere that had been peacefully changed.

Suddenly the table where Ishana and Syifa were was kicked by a girl along with her other friends.

"What the hell are you doing Karyn? You just arrived and you're already causing trouble. What do you want?" Asked Syifa who was already angry.

"You shut up, I just want to talk to this damn woman," Karyn said while pointing at Ishana.

Ishana, who felt herself being pointed at by the girl called Karyn, stood up from her seat.

Ishana looked at Karyn while raising one eyebrow.

"What do you want to talk about? I can't stay long, because I'm busy, I have a lot to do. I don't have much time to talk to someone like you." Ishana said with a sardonic look.

Karyn then looked sharply at Ishana.

"Damn it. Don't be impudent." Karyn said while continuing to stare at Ishana.

"How insolent do you mean? Don't you realize that you started it?" Ishana said.

Karyn furrowed her brow when she heard Ishana's words.

"What do you mean?"

"You were the one who was insolent by hitting the table when you arrived earlier. Didn't your parents ever teach you to be more polite to others?" Ishana asked.

Karyn immediately fell silent.

The girl's gaze seemed to be holding back her emotions.

"Whatever I want to do, it's none of your business," Karyn said.

Ishana had not answered Karyn's words, instead, the girl smiled a little while looking at Syifa which made Karyn and her friends even more confused by the girl's attitude.

"Why are you laughing? Is something funny?" Karyn asked confused.

"Yeah sure, you're very funny. You say things like that just to embarrass yourself. Don't you realize that?" Ishana asked.

Again and again, Karyn and her friends could only be confused by Ishana's words.

"What do you mean, what did I say?"

"Didn't you realize that when you said I was insolent, it was you who was being insolent to me and my friend?"

"Damn it," Karyn said and was about to slap Ishana's face.

Ishana didn't resist, but the girl only said something that instantly made Karyn cancel her action.

"If you slap me, it will only embarrass you, Karyn. Don't you realize that you have become a spectacle for everyone in this place?" Ishana said while showing her sly smile.

Meanwhile, Karyn, who was about to slap Ishana's face, stopped her action while staring at the other visitors who were now staring at her.

All the eyes of the people in that place were now on her.

Karyn who saw that immediately lowered her hand.

"Aren't you going to slap me?" Karyn asked while showing her sly smile.

"Just watch out for you. Wait for my revenge." Karyn said and was about to leave the place.

"Boss? You're not going to tell her what brought us here boss? You haven't told that damn girl yet." Said one of Karyn's friends while looking sharply at Ishana.

"What do you want to say? Is there something important you want to talk about? Go ahead, because I see your friends are dying to cuss me out right now, right Syifa?" Ishana asked Syifa.

Syifa just nodded her head.

"It seems like they have something important to say to you Ishana, but because she is too embarrassed, maybe she has forgotten what to say now," Syifa said.

"What is she so ashamed of? Hasn't she never known shame anywhere or anytime?"

"Asshole, you can't mess with our boss. You want to get into trouble with us?" Karyn's friend said while staring intently at Ishana and Syifa.

"Why are you blaming me and Ishana? Weren't you the first ones to cause trouble with us? Why are you now saying we're the ones looking for trouble? Are you unwell?"

"You damn girl. Come face me if you dare." Karyn's friend said.

"Who's afraid? Come here." Syifa said and was about to approach Karyn and her friends, but Ishana stopped her.

"Already Syifa, you don't need to deal with people like them. They are just people with nothing to do. You don't need to listen to what they say." Ishana said.

Karyn, who heard Ishana's words, immediately became angry and took a glass of water from the table behind her.

Quickly, Karyn immediately splashed the water in the glass at Ishana.

Ishana who was shocked and did not have time to dodge immediately closed her eyes as if she had resigned herself to what was going to happen.

She had resigned herself to being drenched by the drinking water that Karyn poured on her.

Ishana heard the sound of water splashing in front of her, but until now the girl did not feel her body wet at all.

Slowly, Ishana began to open her eyes.

And how shocked the girl was to see the person standing in front of her right now.

"Aska?" Ishana said when she saw that the person standing in front of her was Aska.

Now the man's body was soaking wet.

"Aska, why did you interfere in their problems? And why did you stand there and let Karyn drench you like that? Don't tell me you like this girl." Andre said while looking at Ishana.

Aska started wiping the water off her face with the palm of her hand.

"Aska! Why are you suddenly here? I'm sorry, I didn't mean to." Karyn said frantically and was about to help Aska to wipe the water on her face, but Aska quickly threw Karyn's hand that was about to touch her face.

"Don't touch my face," Aska said.

"Aska, why are you here? And why are you standing in front of me?" Ishana asked.

Aska who heard Ishana's voice did not answer the girl's words at all, the man stared at Ishana so hard that Ishana immediately fell silent.

Aska then suddenly grabbed Ishana's hand and held it.

Ishana furrowed her brow, confused by what the man was doing.

"What's wrong with you? Let go." Ishana said as she tried to pull her hand from Aska's grasp, but failed.

"You come with me now," Aska said and immediately led Ishana out of the place.
