Chapter 6: Stop Right There, You Criminal Scum!

Ye Lian didn't seem to change that much. Her demeanor changed and her intelligence improved. How did Tatsuya know? Well, he can now communicate with Ye Lian!

However, she can only communicate through pen and paper.

Now about her combat capabilties...

Tatsuya was looking at Ye Lian who was attacking the zombies with her claws.

Tatsuya was simply amazed. He wasn't a fan of fighting nor does he have any sort of fixed standard of what is strong or not but she seemed to have improved her fighting style. Instead of rage taking over, she remained calm and collected while facing her enemies.

Her overall power also increased as well. He doesn't know by how much but judging by how she can handle this little horde of zombies (15 zombies), she''s pretty powerful now.

"Not as powerful as me, but its alright...'

"And done! Good work Ye Lian." Tatsuya said, with a towel and a bottle of water in his hands. Although zombies don't really need human necessities, he just felt like giving it to her.

Ye Lian nodded and took the towel and water. She drank from the water bottle but well, she doesn't know what to do with the towel.

'Oh right... zombie anatomy is different from human anatomy.' He chuckled at his own foolishness and took the towel. As for the reason Ye Lian drank the water, well, she just decided to really.

Ye Lian then started asking for a paper to write on through a little bot of charade. Tatsuya was good at charades so he managed to guess what Ye Lian wanted. From his back pack, he took a pen and a notebook.

She then starts writing...

Meanwhile, Tatsuya went towards the corpses and collected each and everyone of them. Using his phone, he sent all the corpses to his boss. The payment was not as great as it was before but it would suffice.

'I'll just collect zombie gels later.' Tatsuya thought as he claimed his payment. When he put his phone down, he saw Ye Lian in front of him.

She pointed at the notebook.

["What do we do next?"]

"Well, we can probably go and find better weapons than the one I have." I said as he pulled out a dull looking knife.

She immediately wrote:

{"Why? You never use it anyway. You always use your fists or your ice powers so why bother?"]

It wasn't a surprise that Ye Lian knew of Tatsuya's ability as she would observe Tatsuya when he's fighting.

"Ahaha, having the ability to one punch zombies or use ice is not normal Ye Lian. Therefore, I need a weapon to use when I am not allowed to use those said abilities."

She wrote again:

["But you're more powerful than them. Why?"]

"I don't like attention, Ye Lian. Attention is not always good since it would attract unwanted flies that will ruin my peaceful life."

Ye Lian nodded, understanding where he was coming from.

'All I need is an explosive cat and an organized life and I would be Yoshikage Kira.' Tatsuya thought as he started wandering off. Ye Lian followed suit.

Soon enough, they reached a certain knife store.

"We're here..."

"Hey Wang Lin, look at this." Side Character 1 said, waking up a bratty-looking loli with short light blonde hair tied in twin tails.

(SC = Side Character)

SC 1 gave the girl named Wang Lin the binoculars he was using.

Using the binoculars, she saw Ye Lian and Tatsuya approaching her family's knife store.

"Do you know who they are?" SC 1 shook his head.

"I think they're just survivors going in to take shelter or get weapons." Wang Lin nodded.

"Should we remind them..." Wang Lin, this time, shook her head.

"How, by shouting? That would attract more zombies." Wang Lin then saw them enter the store completely.

"But what if they-" Wang Lin interrupted the poor SC 1.

(Poor SC 1, this is the only screen time that he has but he keeps getting cut off.)

"How can an ordinary man know the difference between a knife and a sword. Also, I am confident with my hiding skills that I hid my dagger where they can't eve find it!"

SC 1 agreed, "Yeah. Still, for them to be able to survive..."

"Yeah, god bless them. It truly is bad luck for them to encounter bad things."

Tatsuya was about to enter the backroom when all of the sudden, a hand broke the door he was about to open.

'You cunt, this isn't The Shining you Johnny-wannabe!' Tatsuya cut off the zombie's hand and kicked the door. He kicked it hard enough for the door to push the zombie towards the wall of the back room.

"Ye Lian, I want do something, can you stay on the sidelines for a bit?" Ye Lian nodded. Meanwhile, Tatsuya picked up kitchen knives. A yandere's trusty weapon.

After picking up five, he saw the mutant zombie approaching him with anger in his face.

"Hoh, you're approaching me? Instead of recognizing Mount Tai, you decided to be an enraged young master and approach me?" Tatsuya was now giggling like an idiot after saying those lines.

"GRRRR!"

The zombie was wary of Tatsuya but he still wanted to fight.

'Truly a persistent bitch, but what can I expect from a zombie? Human decency?'

"Oh ho, then come as close as you like!' Tatsuya laughed and started to have beat the zombie with his fists.

While he was punching the defenseless zombie, he kept shouting 'Muda muda muda' until he decided it was time.

He got off the zombie and the zombie, although incapable of feeling anything, felt happy within his non-existent soul that Tatsuya stopped.

"You fool! You thought you have the luxury to escape? Za Warudo, toki wo tomare!" Using his ice abilities, he stopped time, similar to how Esdeath did.

However, he never thought of Esdeath when he made the skill, he thought of Dio first and wouldn't you know, he did it, he made one of his dreams come true.

'Beat someone up and use JoJo references as I beat them to death, cleared!' Tatsuya started throwing knives. Just like how it goes for Dio, it stops before it hits the target, however, the force behind those throws were still there.

"Toki wa Ugokidasu...." And time resumed.

Because of the force behind the knives, the knives went through the zombie's body.

Tatsuya had a smug smile as he saw the fall of the mutant zombie.

"Phew..." He went to the corpse and got the mutant zombie jelly bean (zombie gel). Meanwhile, Ye Lian approached him.

With the pen and paper she still had, he poked Tatsuya's shoulder and wrote to him:

["What happened there? One second, you were posing like the letter T and next thing I saw was the knives flying towards the mutant zombie."]

Tatsuya simply patted her head.

"I'll tell you in the future. For now, let me loot this place." Tatsuya started walking, until he noticed something did not sound right.

He stomped on the tile that let out a weird sound.

"Yep, let's check what's in here."

He destroyed the tile and saw box that contained a dagger and other small knives. He pick up the dagger and sheathed it along with the small knives.

He then placed the small knives on his backpack.

With the dagger on his hand, he allowed Ye Lian to pick up a weapon she wanted. However, she didn't want swords so Tatsuya simply nodded and left the store.

"THATS MY DAGGER, STOP RIGHT THERE YOU C-" Good thing SC 1 managed to quiet her down by putting his hands on her mouth.

"Are you crazy, zombies will flock us!" SC 1 reprimanded Wang Lin who was enraged at the moment. The two soon left their sights.

Wang Lin soon managed to calm herself.

"Tch, I forged that dagger for so long, its my favorite!"

"Well, now they defeated the mutant zombie, we can say they're not normal people. Now that your dagger was taken, you want to go and visit your cousin's place and have a look? Someone probably managed to survive." Wang Lin went to tsun mode.

"Hmph, I expect all of them to be dead."

Wang Lin started walking outside the room they're in.

"Well, never mind that. My cousin inherited from grandpa, so her skills should be alright. Let's go."

Before she truly left, she raised a middle finger, "Fuck you, you criminal scum, I wish you many misfortunes!"

"I have the urge to send a middle finger. Welp, fuck you too, I guess..." Tatsuya said as he sent back a middle finger up the sky.

Meanwhile, Ye Lian was confused.

Short Bit 1: Late Night Thoughts

It was night, Tatsuya and Ye Lian found a place to rest in. Ye Lian wanted the mutant zombie gel but Tatsuya asked her if he can first research about the gel. Ye Lian simply agreed for now.

He was now reading the My Girlfriend is a Zombie manga (?) manhua (?) manhwa (?). I don't know man, I don't get paid enough shit for this.

As he was reading, he slowly formed a few ties.

'First, my spell worked and the reason she can communicate to me through writing is because I returned some of her intelligence plus the fact that there was this little evolution that happened which improved her intelligence and power.'

'Second, I replaced Ling Mo. F.'

'Third, that girl that probably cursed me earlier was Wang Lin, git gud bruv.'

'Fourth: The moment Ye Lian eats this, she'd reach another evolution (probably).'

Tatsuya wanted to know what happened to Ling Mo since he was quite curious what world he was sent in, or whatever happens to replaced people.

Anyways...

'Law of equivalent exchange.... heh I see. So we just switched places. That's interesting....'

'Okay that's enough information, time for bed.'

Then, when he put down his phone, Tatsuya realized that he can't sleep.

'You got to be kidding me!'

Tatsuya's thoughts started to ran wild.

'Sigh, this isn't working. How about I talk to myself until I get bored and sleep?'

(Ngl, this method is something I always use.)

Tatsuya started looking back. Back to when he was born in his past life and his transmigration. Now that he thought about it,

'It's funny how I went from liking a zombie waifu like Ye Lian to be my lover to loving Ye Lian as a sister. People will start to say I sister-zoned her or sing 'Sweet Home Alabama' but the thought is truly laughable.'

The truth is that Tatsuya knew he was first infatuated with Ye Lian's looks and aura. But it kinda died out soon enough. Now he just treated Ye Lian like a sister or a partner-in-genocide.

Tatsuya started reasoning and in the end, settled his feelings for Ye Lian.

Judgement: Sister.... for now

Now it was time.....

'Why was I sent here?'

"What is life?'

'Is my life similar to Ye Lian's? Just an entertainment source?'

'Fuck me, when will I even get laid?'

Tatsuya fell asleep after thinking of the reason why he was still a virgin, with his last words being:

"I swear, it was not because of me simping to WW2 ships-zzzzzzz....."
